Good morning everyone, did you have a goodnight sleep? As promised yesterday I have a story time for you! Which also happened recently, 2 days recently! From the title of this blog post you can tell that it's going to be one hell of a story; of which happened to me. Very shocking and scary, but I might as well talk about it and inform you guys what's happening in my life :).
If this has happened to you how did you get over it? Or what would you do if this happened to you?
Let's cut to the chase and get on with the blog post.

BACKSTORY:

Fundamentally, I have been working in a phone shop for 3 weeks now,, but I've been with the company for nearly 3 months; due to the training. I had never been told about theft, but I just assumed that it might happen, merely because we are dealing with phone. Any how, I've enjoyed my time here, I love my job and I can't wait to go back tomorrow; as hard as my job is, it gives me great satisfaction to know that I've sold high end problems; and helped various people along the way.
This being said, I live in a town where stealing is unheard of, especially in this way shape and form. I have also never witnessed anything like this before hand either.

WHAT HAPPENED:

Profoundly, I was sat down serving a customer, I had just gone through what phone they wanted, and I was discussing what price plan would be perfect for their personal life. I then grabbed the phone, iPhone 7 32g in gold; that was the phone the gentleman wanted. I took down all his personal details, got the boring part out of the way ... I was about to run though the contract when I felt someone push past me, I was really knocked back. I then looked at my table and the person that had just ran past me took the iPhone 7 off the table. I was absolutely gobsmacked ... I thought it was a joke at first, I just assumed that he was going to come back; but he didn't. As soon as the realization hit me I broke down in panic, I thought, 'what if he had a knife' ... All these thoughts came back and forth; I couldn't think straight. It wasn't until I noticed that my manger wasn't in store anymore, he had ran out to catch the criminals. No one else knew what to do, so I spammed the theft button on our security system; seconds later several security guards arrived, I told them what happened and they took it from there. 10 minutes flew by and my manager and other colleague came back, they were panting like mad, with nothing but disappointment on their face. They had slipped away under the radar... My manager soon after blacklisted the phone, so the crooks couldn't even use them if they wanted to.
Everything continued as normal, I was looking over my shoulder for the time being, and I think I will do for the rest off my days, something like that doesn't disappear overnight.
It was around 4:30 and 3 police officers arrived, I just assumed my manager called them earlier on. I was taken back again, they were all so tall, they were giants! Big friendly giants, They took everyone to one side and asked for statements. I then learnt that because I was physically touched I had to go down to the police station and make a proper statement. My manager also had to do the same, even though he didn't see the incident, he had to make a statement, simply because he is the manager of the store. 2 hours went by and my statement was done, they said that I would have to attend court and tell my side of the story; which I was more than happy with as I saw what happened confidently. It was time to head home and I arrived in style ... A police van. The person that drove me home was lovely, he had such banter it was unreal.
The robbery is still on going, it only happened two days ago, they will be in further contact with me to see what happens next, I will evidently keep you all up to date with what happens next.

This is now the end of my blog post! This was another dramatic one, I hope you enjoyed it! Something to read right? ;)
I hope you have a good day, tell me what you get up to in the comment section down below or on my social media. I love you all so very much, stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :). x x x

Good afternoon, I am so sorry for the delay, work has been hectic ... There was a robbery in my shop yesterday; I've been shock up so my nerves have been all over the place. I'm currently laying down on the sofa while typing; I'm so comfortable :).
Any how, what have you been up to today? Let's have a little chat down below in the comment section, of use my social media; I love communicating with you :). Now lets crack on with this blog post, so many of you have wanted to read this one! Sit back and relax Little ones :).

WHAT I DID:

Baked for days! I woke up at 8 and started baking by 9 am. From that moment on I thought that it would be best to start off with something close to heart ... Rock cakes. I have been making these since I was in primary School; experimenting for years on out, I have found my own perfect recipe, and I'm not sharing it just yet, sorry Little ones; this is close to me and my family only ... A McGuire specaility for the time being. Hopefully within the next few years I will be making a cook book with all my recipes; I can't wait to release that :)
In regards to the rock cakes, it took me an hour and a bit to make 12, simply because I'm very OCD about baking, I will take my time as I want to create the perfect bake. Within one batch of rock-cakes 6 are made; but if I wanted to make them bigger I would only make 3 or four; it really does depend. My mother doesn't like them too big, it fills her up to much, it makes her uncomfortable; she was the true inspiration for these little rocks; around the years in making these she was my guinea pig; she told me what she wanted and I finally delivered it; she claims that these are "the best rock cakes", my family love them. And so did my work colleagues, my manager Elliot couldn't stop eating them, he said they were, "beautiful", to keep him happy just make him good food :).
After I had let my two batches cool down I put them into their own container, it was like putting babies to bed; they are so important.
I then took to washing up and starting something new. It was time to start the cookies, something I had made previously before, but I still needed to look at my recipe; just to make sure that everything went smoothly. One cookie batch made 12 cookies, I was about to make two batches, which would make a total of 24 cookies! I could only fit 4 cookies only my tray, and they had to stay in the oven for 25 minutes at a time. On average this took around 2 hours at the very least! The smell radiating from the kitchen was unbelievable! My family were salivating at the smell, my sister was shouting at me because she wasn't allowed a cookie, at that moment in time anyway. For those 2 hours at least I worked my butt off! I was doing something that I loved, for a cause which was amazing. They were for my work colleagues, they were going to be so busy and tired, I wanted to make sure that when they were at work they would at least have something to eat; it was the iPhone 7 launch after all!
When I arrived at work with these goodies in hand they were so pleased and shocked, they all thanked me for having done this and trying so hard. I love my team so much, even though I have only been working with them for 3 weeks; they are my mini work family; I wouldn't change then for anything.

FUTURE:

As mentioned previously, I am keeping note of what I am baking, and I am in the middle of creating a cook book for all my Little ones :).
In the next 3-6 months I'm going to start photographing my creations professionally, thank God for my A in photography ;).
I will evidently keep you up to date with what I am doing, I love you guys you are my little internet family :).

This is unfortunately the end of the blog post, but I will be back again after work tomorrow, with a crazy story time that happened to me at work yesterday!
I love you all so very much, see you soon! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Good  evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've just finished work, I'm currently round Chris's home, the family have gone out to buy some food; so for the mean time I decided to write this story time :). It was highly requested to write another story time, as well as a life style blog post; that is coming tomorrow and Friday! Both very exciting days for me! Any how, how have you all been today, what have you done?
If you want to get right into this story, sit back, relax and grab your favourite snack :).

BACKSTORY:

Fundamentally, when this happened I was in year 10, which would have made me 15. At this age I was a bundle of nerves, I was put into the stereotypical category as "quiet nerd". I didn't have many friends; but the friends I did have I still talk to currently. I never really talked to anyone that I didn't know, and I defiantly didn't make an effort to start a new conversation who wasn't in my friend group. I've changed now, but back then I just couldn't, my social anxiety was going through the roof.
Something else you should know, within my School year there are at least four girls with the same name as me, so we would constantly get muddled up with another person; this happened quite often; this may seam really random now, but it will make sense when the story unfolds.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Profoundly, I remember that it was lunch, someone came up to me and said, "are you really going to beat Sally up after School"? (Not her real name, I have to use fake names in this story). I was so stunned at this accusation, and replied with "no, I don't even know her that well". I simply put it to the back of my mind and moved on. I sat down on the bench I was sitting on and continued talking with my friends. Within minutes a group of girls came over, there was four of them, they were known for causing trouble; of which I was really taken back by, I started getting really anxious before they had even said a thing. Sally said, "I heard you were going to beat me up, so here I am". I replied with, "who said this". Sally then said, "it doesn't matter, but they said it was Amy, so I came to you". I was so shocked that this was even happening, I as in year 10; nothing like this had even happened to me. I started to say, "it must have been another Amy, because I never said that, you know me, and you know for a fact that I can't fight". The group of girls laughed and said, "I know, but it's gone too far now so I think we should just fight.
By this point there was a massive crowd forming around us, I started to have a massive panic attack, my natural instinct was to run away ... And that's what I did, to the girls bathroom. I thought that if I locked myself in there I would be safe; because I lock would of put a boundary between us.
I was wrong, ever so wrong ...
I heard murmurs in the distance, I looked between the cubical door, and to my horror I saw the girls bathroom filled with people, which included girls and boys. I started to panic even more, all this drama over a silly rumor that I didn't even start. I heard a massive thud next door, it was the girls climbing over the other toilet cubical. I tried to escape but it was too late. One of the girls grabbed my hair and smacked my face into the door lock. Another girl called 'Alice' said, " this is what you deserve". I pushed Alice away and ran out of the cubical, I was met with a crowd of people ... I stood there in shock for a couple of seconds; and then ran off to. I remember sprinting down the narrow corridor, the line of people wanting to see what's happening stood there like zombies; they all became a blur to me. All I remember is sitting down in a teachers office and writing down a statement. They believed me 100%. The next day they called all the girls into the office and suspended them for a few days.
When they returned back to School they were all made to write me a letter, which stated why they were sorry and that they wouldn't do that to ANYONE ever again.
A few weeks passed by, but they were still causing me issues, they were in my sporting class, they would constantly try and trip me up, throw balls at me, they even threw a badminton racket at my face when I beat them. All of this lead them to separating me and them ... And yes, this was over a FAKE rumor.
The only reason they carried it on was because they thought, "it would be stupid if we didn't get anything out of it".

Moral of the story is, if you are getting bullied, don't let them get away with it. Report it as soon as possible, it might not be the "coolest" thing to do; but it will keep you safe and sound.
You will never see these people again, I know that  haven't, it's been years! Of course I do the occasional Facebook stalk, who doesn't? I know that I am better off than them, and it makes me upset that I even let them get to me in the first place.

Unfortunately, this is the end of my blog post, I really hope that you enjoyed or found this blog post entertaining; I have many other stories like this which I will happily put up for you. I am only here to help you; and if telling you what my experience was helps you relate then so be it:).
Have a lovely evening, I will see you tomorrow with a lifestyle blog post, I can't wait for you to see it!

Hello! I'm ever so sorry that this has taken a few days to post, I have been undergoing serious issues, of which I can't disclose just yet; but when I can I will write about it :).
Anyhow, how have you all been? What did you do yesterday and what are you planning on doing today? Let's cut to the chase! If you are a perfume addict then you will love this blog post! Have a little read and relax :).

PACKAGING:

Undoubtedly enchanting. The enriching peach crystal bottle is breathtaking, it reminds me of a bundle of peaches laying before my eyes, in a perfume formation. The bulbs arising makes it plump and brings it all to life; especially when the lighting catches it ever so slightly. When I hold this within my grip I feel expensive and important. It's ever so delicate, but completely beautiful. I adore the rose gold cap placed at the top of the perfume; it's a crown on importance, and in my opinion this one has indeed won the prize. Consistency is the correct word. Everything corresponds to one another, for example, the fruity exterior, golden crown, and shiny execution. All tied in together with the classical Hugo Boss logo on the side. Matt black, it stands out from the crowd, high and mighty. If I were Hugo Boss I'd be doing the same; this is a beautiful looking product, they should be proud to of created this masterpiece. In regards to the blanket that protects this beauty, it matches the perfume to a T. The rose pink cardboard, with the shiny golden font screams opulence. And is repeated when you hold this perfume with your bare hands.

THE PRODUCT:

Just like the packaging ... Flawless. As soon as you spray this onto the skin, the scent of a musky rose comes in to play, as well as a sweet and daring flavour. It smells expensive, and represents a massive sex appeal. When I put this on in the morning, it reminds me of my boyfriend Chris kissing me and looking into my eyes. This is what I always wore when we first met, and I still wear to this day.
This perfume lasts such a long time, because it's the Eau De Parfum version it's so much stronger in comparison to the Eau De Toilette. Meaning that the staying power is intense; a little goes a long way ... And I mean that. Two or three sprays will set you for an 8 hour day on the go.
On the other hand, I feel that this is such a natural scent you can wear it for any occasion, especially dates, simply because it's not overpowering, and it won't make the other person feel sick.
I wish that you could smell this currently, it's purely amazing! Although you can always head into your local Boots or John Lewis; they constantly have this on display for you to have a good spray.

THE PRICE:

This perfume retails for £47.00. This may sound a lot for perfume, but not for me. In my opinion this was completly worth the money. I purchased this bottle in September last year ... It's lasted me an entire year, and I still have more in the bottle. Previously, I bought the Eau De Toilette, and it only lasted me 5 months, it was the same 50ml, but I had to spray more because it didn't last as long, plus that one alone retailed for £43.00, only making it £4 cheaper! Plus I had to buy a second version because they didn't have the stronger one in stock.
In my opinion, if you like the smell of it, go ahead and treat yourself, it's stunning and it makes you feel confident.

This is the end of my blog post, thank you so much for reading this, I'm very sorry that this took so long to post, as mentioned previously so much has been going on that I can't currently disclose on here. But hopefully I will be able to write about that in a separate blog post :).
I love you all so very much! I can't wait to see you tomorrow! I'm letting you guys decide what I post :).
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Preparing for University-Student Finance

Student Finance

Good evening my lovely people! I was meant to post a vegan recipe today but I had so much to do I didn't have the time; but I will make sure that it's up and ready for tomorrow afternoon :).
I thought that it would be necessary to give you some advice on how to apply for student fiance, and how to spend your money wisely; as well as telling you my personal experiences with it.
If you feel like this would help you or somebody else out there give this a little read, or share it; simply because everyone needs someone to calm them down and give them some great advice in the student finance world :).
Sit back, relax and take a deep breath, I'm here to help:).

If you want to read other advice blog posts, click here!

PLAN LIKE CRAZY:

Before you start University you need to plan what you need to buy, as well as what you already have. By doing this you can save money when needed, for example, if you already have spare cutlery at home use that, instead of diving into your University funds. Little things like this will go a long way.
  • Make a list of items that you need and don't need:
    When making this list split into different categories, I did this by room, For example, if you start with bedroom, you can decide what you will need in the bedroom, write your list for this and then move onto a different room; do this until you have completed all the rooms. This way you can't get anything mixed up, plus you can't miss anything out if you do it that way.
  • Prioritize selected items:
    If your list is exceptionally long, which is what mine locked like. Select certain items which you feel you need ASAP. This way it's easier to manage, and takes so much stress of your mind. All the mandatory items have been brought on my list! This has made me feel so much better about myself; it's really reduced my anxiety. Now all I need to do is complete the rest of the list; which will happen on pay day this month.
  • Dedicate a day for applying for student finance:
    Profoundly, I feel like it's easier if you take a whole day out of your week just to apply for student finance. Simply because you are able to gather all the valid information that you need, and you can do it all in one go. Once it's done you can forget about it until you start University.

APPLYING FOR FINANCE:

Fundamentally, when applying for Finance you need to be calm and prepared for the amount of time that it will take. From experience it was a terrible time, I let my anxiety get the better of me, I would cry with anger, or worry for no reason. I couldn't find the paperwork for my parents finances, it was all falling apart for me. Evidently I managed to get all the paper work sorted, and it started to flow from there. If you enjoy paper work and filling out forms, then you will love the student finance application. I would say that the entire process takes around 4-5 hours, depending on how much information you need.
A few tips and tricks I would advice for you would be:
  • Write down all your passwords and reference number.It will make the process longer, but it will save you time in the long run. Imagine if you forget your password or reference number, it will be a long and frustrating time for you, simply because you need your student finance ASAP. This will make it so much easier for you. This being said, make sure that you keep them in a safe place, and also a place where you would remember. There is no point writing all this information down, for you not being able to find it.
  • Have someone there with experience:
    Luckily enough I had my boyfriend keeping me calm and making sure that everything was correct. He had already been though the process the year before, which made it a walk in the park for me; especially with my nerves.
    I can't explain how helpful this was, if you can grab somebody who will hold your hand throughout this stressful experience then please do; it will make it so much easier.
  • Take your time:
    I know how cliche and condescending this may sound, but it's probably one of the best points. Please take your time, don't rush, you need to make sure that every single detail is correct; if not then you will not receive your student finance. Do you really want that happening to you? I don't think so my lovely; as annoying as it sounds please listen. It's not a race, you can do this at your own pace.

THE PROCESS:

  1. Go to the Gov website https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login;
  2. use the reference number provided, they would have given you this when you applied for university on UCAS;
  3. set up passwords and security questions, write these down as you go along;
  4. fill in your personal details;
  5. give them the debit card information, this is where your student finance will appear;
  6.  create your parents accounts, as they have to support your student finance account, (in order for you to get more money);
  7. finish your application and fill in your declaration form and send it off in the post;
  8. wait a few days until student finance give you your final money amount, keep hold of this documentation as you will need it when you register at your chosen university.
This is the end of the blog post! I really hope that you found this helpful! When I was going through student finance it was rare that I came across a blog post in this much detail. I wanted to write this so that I could help people, as I know that some individuals still haven't applied, or some people that are heading to university next year; this will be a great stepping stone.
You don't have to follow everything I have written, but even if it's a point or two, it will really help you in the long run.
I love you all so very much, I am going to be writing another blog post on how to prepare for uni, it's going to be a tiny series. If that's what you want of course! If you have any other ideas then please suggest them :).
I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, I will be posting my vegan recipe tomorrow :). I'll be heading off to bed shortly, I'm rather exhausted.
Sweet dreams Little ones, stay safe and stay tuned :) x x x

STORY TIME: WHY I LEFT FATFACE

Why I quit FatFace

DISCLAIMER: I am not bashing the company, overall the company is amazing! But a particular store that I worked in was awful! Hence why I wrote this story time.

 Hello and good morning! I've been hanging out with my sister today, she wanted advise on picking a new lipstick, which of course I was happy to help! Lipstick is my weakness, might or might not of brought a couple myself :'). Any who, I took to Twitter and asked what blog post you wanted, a story time was most requested! I have so many stories, some funnier than others, this one being a mixture. If this is something that you like please let me know as I will write more of them :).
Sit back, relax and enjoy your popcorn.

.

Backstory:

Fundamentally, the reason for why I applied for this job was because I really hated my other one, they didn't treat me right, and I wasn't well enough to work there. For example, I had a really bad kidney infection and they kept worrying me that if I didn't work or come in that I would get fired, my health was on the line, I needed time to heal and get better, I saw that FatFace were coming to Welwyn, but the waiting period was a month; which was perfect for me because I would have time to rest up. I took the opportunity and applied for the job and left my previous one.

Interview process:

I applied for this job in February, but the shop wasn't due to open until the end of March, this gave me a window to look after myself and recover from my illness, (which I did). I remember getting a phone call on my birthday to say that they liked what they saw on my CV, and that they wanted to interview me. I was so thrilled,not only was it my birthday, but I felt like this was my present! I was so excited, my boyfriend Chris was so happy for me, as he knew that I hated my previous work place! 2 weeks passed and it was interview time! They asked me to bring photos of my personal life, so that they can get a better understanding of what you are like as a an individual! I already gathered great expectations of FatFace, I had never been asked to do this in an interview, they were so kind and warm towards me. It was then time to go off into groups and try and sell an outfit to the FatFace crew; they said that they liked what I created! This was filling me with great confidence and happiness, I was really enjoying myself, and this was just the interview! After that was over and done with, it was time for the one on one interview. I had such an awesome guy, he was so lovely and down to earth; he took my last remain of nerves away and replaced it with happiness. He was so pleased with my CV that he wanted me to be a supervisor! But I had to turn that offer down because I couldn't do the hours at that moment in time; I could after I finished my A Levels. After I said that I started to feel ever so anxious, I thought I had blew my only chances of getting this job! I had already left my previous job; I needed this to save for University in September! But low and behold, 3 days later and they had offered me the job! I was so happy, it was like a dream come true! I had managed to get the hours that I wanted, as well as working for a great company.

Training process:

A few weeks after the interview I got a phone call from one of the store managers that interviewed me, they asked me how I thought it went and I said, " I think it went ok, I really enjoyed myself". They responded with, "we really liked you, do you still want the job?"
I was so thrilled, I remember I was on break at School and I was jumping up and down, while everyone watched me; probably thinking I was the strangest person on earth. March rolled around and it was time to train me! They sent me to the St Albans store to meet the rest of my team, my deputy manager was late, I was so excited to meet her! While we were waiting for her arrival we sat in a circle and got to know one other. You know the usual, why did you apply, what do you like doing outside of work, tell me an interesting fact about yourself etc. After around an hour of this we heard the door creek, it was my deputy manager ... My heart sank. I knew this woman, she used to work in another store in the Howard Centre, I went into the store she worked in a few days before my training in FatFace, I won't name the company she worked for, but it was a bag place. I had purchased one of their bags and it was faulty, I was mis-sold a particular product, and she was the one that pitched it; after a few days of it breaking down I went to refund it. Obviously she was not having a great day as she was so rude to me; I didn't want to exchange it as I didn't feel comfortable putting faith into another bag; I just wanted my money back. As soon as this lady saw me in the FatFace training ... She gave me such a dirty stare. I knew that she was going to make my life hell, and the worse thing is, she had the power to do so. We will call this lady, Sophie, (not her real name, but I can't mention real names). Sophie made it clear that she already knew a member of staff in the training session, we will call this girl Rosie. Sophie and Rosie worked in the same shop previous to this one, I gathered that Rosie was going to be the favourite, since Sophie and Rosie had worked for years together in the same company. I already started to hate the situation I was in, and I hadn't even started to work for the store. I held my head up high and hoped for the best.

My first day:

I loved it! I was full of energy, the shop was crowded, I manged to talk to an array of people! I just loved every moment of it! We had a great team, despite the few issues that had occurred in training I put it behind me; for the simple matter, I was here to help people and do the best shop that I possibly could. We made over £8000! We had a live show inside the shop to draw people in, it was a massive hit! It felt like I was at a summer festival, despite it being March; it was such a beautiful atmosphere; I loved every moment, this was the place for me:).

1 month later:

It was evident that their were favourites in the shop. But I didn't let this get me down, I was known for being positive! I obtained the hours that I wanted, was earning a decent basic, and I was working for a great company. I had made friends with the majority of the team, and the working environment was lively; if I was able to work with the people that made me feel special. With time passing by in the company it was time for our reviews, I had been banging on about becoming a supervisor after I had finished Sixth Form, and they were happy with that arrangement; but my deputy manager hated that idea ... I could tell by the way she looked at me as well as spoke to me. Whenever I spoke to my manager about becoming supervisor, Sophie would rain down her negative persona on me and say, "that's not going to happen", "other people in here deserve this more than you" ... Although I valued her opinion it was rather hurtful, I had past supervisor experience and she knew this, no one else did. Sophie made my life in FatFace awful, and as time went on I felt worse about myself.

3 months later:

I finally had it. Months of being isolated in the women's department for hours on end with nobody to talk to, whenever I tried to get in on the shop banter they would send me back to the women department; or pretend that I didn't even exist. My positive glow had faded away, and had been replaced with dark sorrow. I no longer wanted to be apart of the "team", they made me feel so unwanted and invisible ... I hated going to work, it was disgusting. Sophie evidently didn't want me working there, and it looked like she had convinced my manger David (not his real name) too. He cut down my 16 hours to 4 hours a week. I would beg for hours on the phone, but they literally ignored my texts, and the worse thing was; I knew they had read them. I would never beg, but I was heading to university and I needed the money ... I explained my situation, and Sophie said, "if you aren't happy with what we offer you then leave". I found out that they were giving my hours away to Rosie, this employee would come up to me and rub in my face that she was making so much more money because she had my hours. I had suffered 3 months of this torture. And to make matters worse, Rosie was telling me what to do, not in a polite manor, but so abrupt and rude.
In the end I left, I didn't want to but I had to, it was enhancing my depression and anxiety, and my managers knew this.

What did I do?

I didn't have a master plan, but what I did have was a kick in the teeth for my manger. On the first day of the 2nd Summer Sale launch I handed in my notice.
This is what it said:

Saturday 25th June 2016

Dear (their real names);
I regret to inform you that this is my letter of resignation. I want to thank you for being my managers and giving me the experience of working at Fatface. It’s a beautiful company to work for and I’m unhappy to be leaving it today, (25-06-16).

I wish to make today my last shift (25-06-16), due to the fact that I’m starting a new job immediately.

The reasons for my resignation is stated below:
·       It wasn’t a nice working environment: you left me on the same department for hours on end with no change, while 3-4 members of staff would talk behind the till. During this time, I had several customers approaching me and complaining that this was “unprofessional behavior”.
·       Reduced hours: I was used to at least 16 hours a week. This was manageable income for my University savings. But you reduced them to 4 hours a week. Despite me telling you that I was free to work any day of the week after the 8-6-16. I have messaged (my manager) twice, begging for more hours and he’s ignored me. This is impolite, makes me uncomfortable, and unwanted from the store.
·       Favoritism: After a month of working at Fatface, it was evident that you had favourites. This is where my reduction of hours came into play as you would give my hours away to other members of staff. As well as this, you would segregate me from the rest of the group and keep: (naming specific members of staff) etc. on the other side. This was not only hurtful, but made me feel unwanted from the team.
Due to these points, I have decided to leave the company, I didn’t want to have to do this, but seeing no improvement with my hours, or the way I have been treated I have decided to go elsewhere.
I want to thank Fatface for giving me the opportunity to work in one of their stores. Despite my experience I’ve enjoyed engaging with various customers and gaining the; “I am famous for service 2016” mug.

Yours sincerely;
Amy McGuire

And with that I left with my head held high, and with a new job in the bag as well. I currently work virtually opposite them and earn more money than them; I couldn't ask for a better punishment for them :').
Although I gave them what they wanted, I still get old customers I used to serve there asking why I left, and I told them why .. And they were so disgusted but they knew I was right. I still walk past that shop and I see nobody on the women's department, because I was the only one that went there and did the job; as everyone else was too busy talking around the till on men's.

This is the end of my first story time blog post! I'm sorry that this took a while, I didn't know if I was allowed to write this, but I thought why not right? I said no real names in this blog post! If this was something that you enjoyed reading, or you have gone though this let me know! We can share more stories with each other!
I love you all so very much and I will see you tomorrow with whatever you fancy! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! x x x
