Good morning Little Ones! Here I am again with a story-time! This one is incredibly significant, as this is the story my boyfriend; now fiance proposed to me. I hope you enjoy this read, it's highly important to me, and will be my favourite blog post to write; simply because it brings back wonderful memories. Any how, I hope you are all well! This is short but sweet introduction, if you want to read how my other half proposed then keep on reading :). Also, I will be filming a YouTube video on this as well, it will be up and running Tuesday.

Quite a vast amount of photographs in this blog post, but I wanted to take as many as possible, I want to be able to look back and remember what I did ... I never want to forget this memory.
Anyhow, lets get to the juicy information, that's why you are all here! Let's start with a backstory. Me and Christopher have been rammed with University and private work commitments, we didn't have enough time to go on dates, or enjoy our spare time together. But since we saw that we were finishing half of the work-load, we were going to take a little break with each other; that being a trip to London.
We had planned to head into Covent Garden and take it from there, I just craved Laduree Macaroons, and since there's a branch in Covent Garden, why would I not go?

The day arrives and we are super excited! We arrive at Kings Cross by 1:30 and decide to grab lunch at MOD, which serve the best pizza's! One of my best-friends recommenced it, and I fell it love with it! If you want to pay it a visit, it's on Leicester Square. By the time we had had lunch it had just gone 2:00pm. To burn the excess pizza off me and Christopher decided to walk to Covent Garden, which didn't go too well as my feet was hurting due to my stupid heels, (don't worry I had a spare pair of flats with me, just incase this occurred).
Before changing my shoes I continued to hobble through Covent Garden, I saw that Laduree was around the corner and couldn't resist. Chris was trying to make me look at Kurt Geiger but I wasn't at all interested. I continued to wobble, until I heard him call my name.
I turned away to find him on one knee and a box in his hand ... I seriously couldn't believe what was happening. I put my hands over my mouth in shock and listened to his beautiful speech. "Amy you make me so happy, I want to be with you for the rest of my life, will you marry me?"
I cried with utter happiness, to which he responded with, "don't ruin you eyeliner". Which made me laugh ... Like he always does. I was still in shock and couldn't answer, I nodded and whispered "yes"in his ear. People around us was taking pictures and congratulating us.
I still look at my ring and appreciate how lucky I am to have him in my life ... He's such an inspiration.
Anyhow, of course we celebrated, we headed around London and enjoyed the sites, that's what we love doing, and will continue to. For our evening meal with headed to Coppa Club, which was fantastic! It was the first time we had been there and the service and food was exquisite.

This is the end of this blog post, but there will be many more to come in terms of wedding planning :). I can't wait, I am ever so excited! I really do hope you enjoyed this read, it's so important to me. Letting you Little Ones read parts of my life is key to growing our relationship ... I hope that you loved this as much as I did writing it.
I love you all so very much, and I will see you again soon with a product review. Stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x

Hello and Good Evening Little ones! How are you all? I've been filming and typing away today, just about to head out to dinner, but before I do that I wanted to tell you how my experience was with Greys yesterday. Some of you may be aware that I'm in the process of dying my hair grey balayage, it's going to take a few more goes but the process yesterday was fantastic ... You hear some horror stories on the internet, and this isn't one of them' time to spread some positive. If you are planning on getting your hair dyed and don't know where to go, then have a little read of this.

Where do I start? The consultation? Yes ... Consultation! I was on my lunch break (only get 30 minutes) and I was researching where to go, didn't want to go to Stoneshills as last time was awful-I'll let you know in another blog post if you are interested.
Where I live there isn't much, but a BUNCH of: hairdressers, coffee shops and charity shops, so I seeked out Greys and went in there. I'm a very anxious person and get nervous when booking appointments, but as soon as I went in there, they greeted me with a warm smile and started a casual conversation. I told them what I wanted and they booked me a consultation right then and there! My hairdresser Claire walked me through the process and stated that it would take a few goes for my hair to turn that colour ... Which I thought was extremely helpful! She also did a skin test, and took a piece of my hair and showed me what colour it would go, again I hadn't even given her a single penny and she was treating me like royalty. Right off the bat I knew I was walking into the right place. It only took 10 minutes, I even had time to finish my lunch and visit my boyfriend, (we work in the same shopping centre).
Two days before I was due to go to my appointment Claire phoned me and said, "would you like to come in earlier, as you have thick hair". Of course I said yes! I was so excited! And I was so happy with the service as she actually thought about me, and offered if I wanted to go in earlier ... I was falling in love and was so content and I hadn't even had my hair done.

It was time! I walked into Greys at 12:00pm and Claire was there waiting for me ... I love people who are dead on time, I have so much respect. Me and her clicked, it felt like I had known her for years, the conversation was constantly flowing, I didn't feel awkward at any point. There was a point where I told her where I worked, which is a phone shop, and she was actually a customer at the phone shop I work at. Because I really like her, I thought that I should give her my friends/family discount .. I really hope that she comes in a day that I'm working, just because she's such a lovely person.
In terms of her work, she did an amazing job! Just watching her looking after my hair, and making sure that what she was doing was perfect was amazing. She never left me alone at ANY point, she was always there to make sure that the dye wasn't on for too long. Something that Stonehills was awful for! I went there a few months ago, and the "top" guy left me on my own, I had a massive panic attack thinking that my hair was falling out ... He left me for an hour on my own ... With BLEACH in my hair ... You can see why I wanted to change.
Anyhow, when it came to washing my hair she did it so gently, nearly made me go to sleep! She also used hair products that I wanted to buy; so it was like try before you buy. Claire was just amazing at her job, so lovely and kind! She's been doing her job for over 10 years, and damn my hair looks amazing because of her!
I was so thankful, and will always be! She's going to be my staple hairdressers for a while! I have another appointment booked in with her in Feburary, and I can't wait to see her again, and the team! They were all so attentive and kind ... I don't mind paying extra, simply because I get the service alongside.

I would highly recommend this salon, if you don't mind paying a little extra then you will love the experience. I had the full package done, dying my hair took a very long time ... 4 hours, and Claire made the experience amazing. To keep my attention, and a conversation flowing for that long on both behalf's was fantastic.
I hope that the team in Welwyn see this, you are all so lovely! Wouldn't mind working there myself!

Anyhow! This is now the end of the blog post, I hope you enjoyed reading this! I sure loved writing it! I hope you all had a lovely day, I will see you again very soon! I love you Little Ones! Stay safe and stay tuned :) x x x

Good evening Little ones! I've taken a little break, I've been with the family over the Christmas period, completing University work, and also writing my first ever book ... I think it's going OK so far; but I'm always sceptical about my work. I've just come home from a date with my boyfriend, and I thought that I would write a blog post on it, I always enjoy reading about my favourite bloggers personal life; makes me feel like I'm there with them. Any-who, if you want to know what I got up to this evening then have a read down below; enjoy :).

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

I've been working a lot, so much in fact that I haven't really taken the time to breath. Having an evening out with my other half was the break I needed, it restored my energy and made me feel happier as a person. As most of you are aware, if you are put under so much pressure is really takes it out on you; emotionally and physically. Just to take a breather once in a while is fantastic, and especially with people you cherish.
Me and Christopher decided to head out to Bill's, somewhere we don't normally go because I'm a pasta gal, I love my Italian food, but we fancied something different; plus we've been to Bill's before and we LOVE their food!
It came to ordering, and I had a pink lemonade, I normally hate fizzy drinks; but this was rather refreshing, and it kept me awake! Whereas Chris had a Budweiser ... Jeez he was drunk near the end of the night, hilarious to witness; but tiring to get home. But it was time for our main meal to arrive! As you can see in the images above I decided to go with a fish pie. It was so delicious! The fish was so fresh and creamy, and the potato crunchy and delightful. It wasn't rich to begin with, but near the end my stomach was telling me to STOP! Just encase IBS hit, and I don't fancy that on a romantic date with my boyfriend. He then went with a manly meal ... Classic steak and chips. He devoured his in seconds, still stunned!
Like every main course, it has to finish with a desert ... I don't care how full I feel I always need something sweet after, it wouldn't feel right! Luckily Bill's had their famous chocolate brownie ... And yes I ate the hell out of it! I'm sorry there is no picture, I forgot to take one, and by the time I remembered I had already eaten it ... But it was delicious! If you go there at any point, GET THE BROWNIE! You'll love it!
Whereas Chris bought the salted caramel apple crumble, it looked fantastic on the menu, but when served it wasn't as great, and the taste (in my opinion) wasn't fantastic; but that's because I don't like walnuts ... Without those and I think it would have been great.
All in all it was a great evening, we had a great talk, laugh and some drinks together. I would say cherish the time you have with another person, they really do make you grow. Ever since I met Chris he has made me so much happier. He has given me so much more confidence, as I him.
I apologise that there aren't many pictures of us, but we do value our privacy, plus Chris is camera shy, he's awkward, and I respect that.
Oh side-note! I will be vlogging at the VERY end of this year! I am in the process of learning how to edit, and construct videos. I want to perfect it for you Little ones! But I will still be blogging if that answers any questions.
This is now the end of my blog post, I hope you enjoyed this evening out! I would highly recommend Bill's, if you have never been before; then try something new, I'm sure you will have the time of your life.
I love you all so very much, I will see you again soon! Merry Christmas!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Have you seen my giveaway? If not click here!

Hello and good morning! Yesterday was a very good day! I was looking after my boyfriends home while they were working as they were getting their fireplace done; me and the Dad had a beautiful conversation which was very uplifting; and the little brother and I went for a walk to catch Pokemon's :).

After writing essays for marketing and blog posts they took me out to our local garden center, which was enchanting! I was stuck in the house all day and this really uplifted my mood.
As a thank you they bought me an array of flowers! Which was extremely kind and overwhelming! I will write a seperate blog post on those.
I thought that it would be great if I took you there to experience what I did, if you are interested in seeing what I saw, as well as what I thought; have a little read down below and enjoy :).

My thoughts on the experience:

Profoundly, I was taken away with natural beauty that mother nature has provided us. The aroma of a vast amount of flower families was overpowering; but in a good way. When you walked to a different section you could grasp the cultures, atmospheres and memories. For example, when I waled past the rosemary I thought about Anne, and her telling me about how she uses the rosemary from her garden in her cooking. But the most important memory that sprung to mind was when I walked past the hydrangea flowers. It brought a tea to my eye, as these were the flowers that my Nan had outside her home. She was easily found as her flowers bloomed and added life to the street. I'm taken back in time to when she let me water them, I miss her so very much.
On the other hand, the entire garden center looked magical, the array of colours put together was abstract art, it was absolutely beautiful. All the flowers are well looked after, nothing dead or decaying there. Even the reduced flowers were still intact; it's amazing how much work and effort they put into their plants.

Did I buy anything?

Me personally no, but I would have! My boyfriends family initially went there for wood, as they wanted to update their fireplace even more. But when they saw the garden center section they were there in a heartbeat. I was picking up flowers in which I wanted to buy, but they took them off me. The dad then said, "what are your favourite ones Aim?" I replied with "hydrangea". Simply because not only are they beautiful, but it felt like my Nan was there with me in flower form.
Not only did they buy me those, but they bought me roses, daisies and more! I say more because I don't know the name of the other flowers;but I will find out for you in the next blog post, as I'l go into more detail on just the flowers :).

Thank you for reading this blog post, I know this one was very short but I just wanted to take you on a trip to my local garden center. I love reading blog posts like this; so I thought that I would do the same :).
I will see you again later with a vegan recipe and a flower update! I love you guys very much, stay tuned and stay safe Little ones :) x x x

Little adventures-new addition to the flower family

Kalanchoe

Good morning you lovely people! I was having a gardening session last night, and I added a new member to the flower family! I was so excited, I bought his flower yesterday and it's stunning. Subtle but perfect. Also my other flowers seem to be growing and bursting with more colour than ever! If you want to see my updates, and the Kalanchoe (new flower), have a little read down below :).

If you want to see the beginning of my flower adventure, click here!

About kalanchoe:

The Kalanchoe, pronounced as Kal-un-kee belongs to the 125 species of tropical, succulent flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae. These beautiful flowers originates from the Americas, 56 from southern & eastern Africa and 60 species in Madagascar; but they can also be found in south-eastern Asia until China. In addition to this, these flowers averagely grow to 1 meter, the flowers I have has barely budding; it will get much bigger and I'm so excited to show you the outcome. In regards to what they are used for, they are cultivated as used for decoration around the house or garden. They are so dainty but beautiful to look at how could you not have these in your home? :)

Why these flowers:

I was strolling around Waitrose, looking for some ingredients for another vegan recipe and I came across the flower section. I saw these beauties on the middle shelf and fell in love! The colour is gorgeous and breathtaking! It screams opulence and class. The warm beige and orange undertones really brings the flowers together; instead of standing out of the crowd and clashing with the other members of the flower family; it adds warmth ad togetherness. In addition to this, I adore ditsy flowers, the way they sit there in a group and crowd together is perfection; they aren't too in your face, it's a subtle suggestion of beauty.

Steps on how I planted them:

  1. Gathered stones around the garden and placed them at the bottom of the pot, this ensures that the plant won't fall over;
  2. I then filled the pot halfway with compost;
  3. I took the Kalanchoe out of the tiny pot it was in, and then placed it to the side of the bigger pot I was planting it in;
  4. I then filled the pot to the top with compost, while making sure that the base of the plant was completely covered. This is because you want to make sure that the Kalanchoe intakes all the nutriance from the compost;
  5. watered the plant and placed it with the family.

Update on ALL the flowers:

Profoundly, after 3 days of having these wonderful delights they seem to be stronger, healthier and brighter. I  water them 2 times a day, morning and evening, they all get the same amount of water, and additional liquid if it rains during the day. The white flowers at the back were partially damaged when I bought them, I wanted to see if I could water them back to health; so far so good! They still look frail, but the white is brighter, and the some of the brown roots are turning green! I'm ever so happy with their recovery and growth rate! I will give you regular updates on how they are doing; I want to take you on this flower journey; I hope you are enjoying it so far :).

 What happens in the future?

In regards to the future, I will continue looking after this flower family, and I hope to be extending the family again some time soon. I also want to add some fruit and vegetable in the mix! Instead of making my vegetable patch this year; I will grow my fruit and vegetables in large pots :).
If you have any suggestions on what you would like me to grow, or what you would like me to add to the flower family be give me some suggestions; I want this flower patch to be ours :).

Thank you for reading this post! I will see you again later on today with a beauty review! Also I'm heading into London tomorrow; so you will see what I did over there tomorrow evening or the following day as I will be writing about it!
If you want to follow me around London, look at my social media below and I will take you along with me! I love you all so very much, and I will see you very soon!
Stay tuned Little ones :) x x x
