Good afternoon Little Ones! How are you all today? I'm finally back home, gosh I missed being here! But I had a wonderful experience being an orange volunteer at insomnia 60! If you want to know more information about that, I'll be uploading a vlog on my YouTube Channel tomorrow, if that's something you want to watch then type: Miss Rose McGuire into the search bar and have a little stalk.
Any how, if you want to know what me and my other half got up to in St Albans, then keep on reading :).

What did we get up to?

First and foremost me and Christopher had been trapped by the awful weather, until we awoke to a beautiful, warm day! Evidently, we took advantage of the weather and headed down to St Albans. Originally we had a plan to get our nails done, hand my CV around places; but that could wait another day.
By the time we arrived at St Albans it was time for lunch, in which I was peckish for some pasta! Carluccio's was around the corner, and me and Christopher both adore the food. We managed to whip a seat outside and enjoy the sun-rays ... Although I do regret sitting towards the sun, but at least I'd finally get some colour on my face.
It was absolutely fantastic, lovely warm food, crisp drinks and Christopher for company, it was such a wonderful meal. I ordered a grapefruit and vodka cocktail, bitter to begin with, but the after-taste was deliciously sweet! If you love grapefruit, then you will relish this drink; but mind you, it was very alcoholic! Only need one of those to boost your confidence! Whereas typical Chris had his Peroni, which was well deserved and needed in the blazing heat. Nothing better than cooling down with ice cold drinks.
On the other hand, our food was utterly delicious, I had salmon pasta, with a fresh salad. Tasted beautiful, just what I needed to feel energised again; plus it was super healthy, so I didn't feel guilty eating it.
Christopher on the other hand, didn't enjoy his sea-food pasta, he wanted more cheese, and meat to the dish; which I completely understand, especially when the details of the dish specify in different types of seafood. But then again, he's quite picky.
Time had flown by with conversation between the pair of us; but we had eaten like kings and needed to burn off the everlasting food.
We headed towards the market and came across Chris's dream car brand ... Tesla, as you can see in the images above, he's extremely content ... And handsome (may I add). I remember people trying to test out the car, and Chris refusing to let them in ... As you can imagine the salesperson became rather agitated, I believe his face is in one of these photos; as you can see, not very happy.
We couldn't believe that we had spent over 4 hours in St Albans! It's such a content and beautiful atmosphere, hopefully me and Christopher shall be living there very soon ... But that's another chapter of my life. Future Amy and Chris will worry about that some other time.
Any how, I'm rambling, back to our little adventure! We didn't get up to very much, we were simply walking around, enjoying the views and the warmth on the back on our necks. I just enjoyed taking various photos, talking with Christopher and looking at future homes.
All in all the day was joyful and we rested when we arrived home, all the walking we did hit us the next day. But hey-ho, at least we ventured out took the sun while it lasted. Because the very next day, it rained ... And wouldn't stop.

There you Little Ones have it! A little adventure! There will be many more where that came from! Again I'm so happy that I'm back in business! I will see you again tomorrow with an all famous make-up review! Remember to stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Good morning you lovely bunch? How are you today? Doing anything exciting? Please let me know on my social media above! :D
I went on a trip to London yesterday, and like always it's such an amazing experience, I love London and I wish to live there some day. I thought that I would document where I went by taking as many pictures as I possibly could. As you know London is a vert crowed place, so I'm lucky to have this many pictures in my blog post :).
If you want to know what I got up to in London, please have a little read below :).

Where did I go?
When I go to London nowadays, I don't have a set plan in where go, I know London at the back of my hand. I like to explore and engage with people and the architecture around me. My first stop was Oxford Circus, simply because my boyfriend wanted me to see him on his lunch-break, he was doing a training course for 4 days, and this was his last day in London. After I saw Chris, I decided that I would look around Oxford and Regent street, I was hunting for new clothes for France, and also giveaway prices; which I did find! More details on the giveaway will be later on today this evening-I'm writing a separate blog post on that.
I then thought that it would be interesting to explore China Town, I love the culture, I feel like I'm walking into another world, different aspects of London carry different atmospheres, people, culture, food etc. I can be in a world of opulence, and then sink into the nitty gritty of London; it's purely amazing and worth the experience. Evidently, I couldn't not go to London and not visit some of the famous land-sites, for example Trafalgar Square, Waterloo-(where Big Ben and London Eye is located); Camden etc. Also, when Chris had finished work, we took it upon ourselves to spend some quality time in the History Museum, I was dying to see the blue wale, which I did, and holy moly ... It's astonishing! Completely breathtaking, and it's free to go there?! How fantastic is that! If you want to go there on a first date, or go there for the day just to explore, go ahead; it's brilliant, I would highly recommend.
When exploring London, I found out that I'm brave enough to head there and travel alone, I feel at home in London; despite the overcrowded streets; it's a beautiful place to be.

Will I go again?
This was a stupid question to write, as the answer is HELL TO THE YES! I love London, I love how I can go from one place to the other, it's an endless and enchanting experience. There are so many places to explore you can't do it in one day! Also, when I next go I'm sure to bring a group of friends, hopefully it'll be Chris, Levi, Jeyda and I. It's so much more fun to explore London, when you have your favourite people with you, and besides you can cover more ground; unless you find a nearby pub and get distracted; which is more than likely to happen when I have my University crew with me :').

What would I do differently?
As explained previously, I would bring my friends, I don't not like going on my own, in some aspects it better than being with people; as you can go to the places you want to, and you can enjoy the atmosphere for yourself. But, I enjoy the company of my friends, I want them to feel joyful and content with me; being surrounded by positivity only makes the experience better. On the other hand, I think I would also go deeper into London, I've always explored central London, I haven't gone any deeper than that, So I would definitely dive deeper and explore :).

Would I vlog next time?
In regards to vlogging next time, I think I would or at least try to. Watching videos always makes it more personal, and having the person talk you through what's happening makes it a better experience. It might take me a while to get use to, but when I do I will post the videos on my blog :).

Thank you for coming on this journey with me, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! If you want me to do more of these blog posts do let me know, simply because I want to share my time next month when I'm heading to France; and I might even vlog my time being there; except on my year anniversary with Chris :).
I love you all so very much, and I will see you later on today with a detailed post on my blog giveaway :)
Stay tuned and stay safe Little ones :) x x x

Good morning you lovely people! I was having a gardening session last night, and I added a new member to the flower family! I was so excited, I bought his flower yesterday and it's stunning. Subtle but perfect. Also my other flowers seem to be growing and bursting with more colour than ever! If you want to see my updates, and the Kalanchoe (new flower), have a little read down below :).

If you want to see the beginning of my flower adventure, click here!

About kalanchoe:

The Kalanchoe, pronounced as Kal-un-kee belongs to the 125 species of tropical, succulent flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae. These beautiful flowers originates from the Americas, 56 from southern & eastern Africa and 60 species in Madagascar; but they can also be found in south-eastern Asia until China. In addition to this, these flowers averagely grow to 1 meter, the flowers I have has barely budding; it will get much bigger and I'm so excited to show you the outcome. In regards to what they are used for, they are cultivated as used for decoration around the house or garden. They are so dainty but beautiful to look at how could you not have these in your home? :)

Why these flowers:

I was strolling around Waitrose, looking for some ingredients for another vegan recipe and I came across the flower section. I saw these beauties on the middle shelf and fell in love! The colour is gorgeous and breathtaking! It screams opulence and class. The warm beige and orange undertones really brings the flowers together; instead of standing out of the crowd and clashing with the other members of the flower family; it adds warmth ad togetherness. In addition to this, I adore ditsy flowers, the way they sit there in a group and crowd together is perfection; they aren't too in your face, it's a subtle suggestion of beauty.

Steps on how I planted them:

  1. Gathered stones around the garden and placed them at the bottom of the pot, this ensures that the plant won't fall over;
  2. I then filled the pot halfway with compost;
  3. I took the Kalanchoe out of the tiny pot it was in, and then placed it to the side of the bigger pot I was planting it in;
  4. I then filled the pot to the top with compost, while making sure that the base of the plant was completely covered. This is because you want to make sure that the Kalanchoe intakes all the nutriance from the compost;
  5. watered the plant and placed it with the family.

Update on ALL the flowers:

Profoundly, after 3 days of having these wonderful delights they seem to be stronger, healthier and brighter. I  water them 2 times a day, morning and evening, they all get the same amount of water, and additional liquid if it rains during the day. The white flowers at the back were partially damaged when I bought them, I wanted to see if I could water them back to health; so far so good! They still look frail, but the white is brighter, and the some of the brown roots are turning green! I'm ever so happy with their recovery and growth rate! I will give you regular updates on how they are doing; I want to take you on this flower journey; I hope you are enjoying it so far :).

 What happens in the future?

In regards to the future, I will continue looking after this flower family, and I hope to be extending the family again some time soon. I also want to add some fruit and vegetable in the mix! Instead of making my vegetable patch this year; I will grow my fruit and vegetables in large pots :).
If you have any suggestions on what you would like me to grow, or what you would like me to add to the flower family be give me some suggestions; I want this flower patch to be ours :).

Thank you for reading this post! I will see you again later on today with a beauty review! Also I'm heading into London tomorrow; so you will see what I did over there tomorrow evening or the following day as I will be writing about it!
If you want to follow me around London, look at my social media below and I will take you along with me! I love you all so very much, and I will see you very soon!
Stay tuned Little ones :) x x x
