Good morning Little ones! Long time so see on the vegan recipes! I'm back in action and creating so much more! It's autumn, and what's better to eat this time of year than steamy mash potato. Normally I would have gem-potatoes, simply because that's all I've ever had. I've never actually tried sweet potato mash; which shocks me as I love sweet potato.
Enough rambling, if you want to make this concoction then follow the simple instructions down below:).

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

Ingredients:

  • 3 sweet potatoes;
  • vegan cream (Alpro);
  • 1 birds-eye chilli-VERY HOT be warned;
  • 2 spring onions;
  • 2 carrots.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Prepare you vegetables: peel the carrots and potatoes. Chop the carrots into fine chunks and place them into a large pan, do the same with the sweet potato.
    Dice the chilli and spring onion and put to one side;
  2. Put 2lts of water into the kettle and wait until boiled. Once boiled pour the water into the large pan, in which the carrots and potatoes are;
  3. Leave to cook for 20 minutes (until soft);
  4. When the carrots and potatoes are done mash them with a folk until fully combined.
  5. Add the Alpro cream and stir together. Once combined add the chilli and spring onion and stir again.
  6. Plate up and ENJOY! :D

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Spring onion:
Onions are a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

Carrots:
This root vegetable is also a good source of antioxidant agents. Which simply means that they are detoxing your body, and making sure that bad bacteria stays away.

Sweet potato:

Sweet potato is enriched with beta-carotene. In the body, beta-carotene converts into vitamin A (retinol). We need vitamin A for good vision and eye health, for a strong immune system, and for healthy skin and

This is now the end of the blog post! I hope you enjoy this tasty snack/meal. Eat it with whatever you want, I love it alone as an afternoon stack; especially when it's cold outside. I can place this into a bowl, get all snuggled in bed and eat :).
I hope you are all happy and healthy, I'm going out to London again today, and also getting my hair dyed! I can't wait to show you! Stay tuned and stay safe Little ones! I love you! x x x

Good afternoon Little ones! How are you today? I've had no lectures, but I have been very productive! I've cleaned the apparent, gone shopping, planned future blog posts; and also bought the very ingredients for this blog post :). But I still have to do some more research for my first assignment; which is going very well, I'm aiming for an A and I think it's going that way! Any how, I thought that it would be great to show you some drink recipes! It's something I haven't done in a while; and I really miss making them! So here it is, get ready and have some fun!

Ingredients:

  • One entire bottle of elderflour (you can use flat or sparkling, it depends on what you want); I went with sparkling because my boyfriend adores fizzy drinks; especially when something sweet is involved;
  • 50 grams raspberries, (frozen or fresh), I went with frozen because I wanted something cold and refreshing;
  • 2 clementines;
  • ice cubes (optional).

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Prepare your fruit: peel  the oranges and cut them into cubes, put the correct amount of raspberries to one side, as well as the ice cubes;
  2. choose your required blender, I used the blendactive blender by Breville, I think it's fantastic, easy to use and easy to clean- if you want to see my review click here;
  3. put the fruit. ice and elderflower liquid into the blender;
  4. BLEND!
  5. Take it on the go or put them into glasses, and ENJJOY! :D

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Raspberry:
Raspberries is one of the greatest antioxidant foods, it cleanses the body and makes you feel great inside. As well as being super delicious, raspberries can also prevent cancer, science studies have shown this.

Clementines:
Clementines are juicy delights rich in variety of vital nutrients including minerals such ascalciummagnesiumpotassium. This is fantastic brain food, and also makes you feel awake. This is the perfect fruit in the morning, as it gives you enough energy to start the day.

Little ones, I'm sorry to say that this is the end of the blog post, but fear not! I will be back tomorrow with a fantastic review, stay tuned if you are interested. I hope you have had a lovely day, I know that I've had a really productive day; which makes one of my favourites. I love you all so very much! Remember I am only a message away if you want to talk to me or ask me anything; I will answer the best that I can :).

Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Welcome again Little ones! How are you today? I feel the autumn hitting, the leaves are turning and I love it. I've been having a relaxing day today, it was also my Mothers Birthday! She was ever so happy with what I bought her :). Other than spending time with her I thought that it was about time to experiment in the kitchen and make another vegan recipe! So here it is ladies and gents! Get in that kitchen and start cooking!

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 grams self-raising flour;
  • salt;
  • 50 grams caster sugar;
  • 50 grams coconut oil (put in the fridge before use, this is your butter subsistence);
  • 15ml almond milk;
  • 25 grams frozen raspberries.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees;
  2. prepare baking tray: brush on vegetable oil onto a baking pan and place over grease-proof paper, this is where you will place your cakes later;
  3. Sift the flour and pinch of salt into a large bowl;
  4. take the coconut oil out of the fridge, this should be solid enough to place into the flour, you should then rub the flour and coconut oil together until it forms fine breadcrumbs;
  5. put the caster sugar into the flour mixture and mix until well combined;
  6. put in the raspberries and mix until well combined, there should be a raspberry in every bite of the rock-cake;
  7. pour in the almond milk, stir until all the cake batter has joined together;
  8. take some of the mixture into your hands and place onto the baking sheet you prepared earlier. Make a circle, but do it imperfectly (as shown in the first picture), this makes it more authentic;
  9. repeat stage 8 until all the mixture has been used up;
  10. put into the oven for 15 minutes, you know they are done when the edges are golden brown;
  11. put onto a plate and ENJOY! :D

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Raspberry:
Raspberries is one of the greatest antioxidant foods, it cleanses the body and makes you feel great inside. As well as being super delicious, raspberries can also prevent cancer, science studies have shown this.

Almond milk:
Almond milk is filled with potassium, this helps prepare and enhance: cells, tissue and organs in the human body. This is essential in everyday life, you always need to repair yourself.

Coconut oil:
Coconut oil high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase the healthy cholesterol (known as HDL) in your body, but also help to convert the LDL “bad” cholesterol into good cholesterols. So if you are on a high fat diet, try coconut oil instead, it will benefit your heart at the end of the day.

Ok Little ones! This is the time where I depart, but don't you worry I will be back later on with something new! Sounds exciting right?! I will be introducing a new segment to my blog entirely; find out later on by following my social media! :D

It was fun making these bundles of joys, please show me your recreations, or tell me if you loved them, I know me and my boyfriend did :).
Any how, I love you all so very much, see you again soon! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :)

Good afternoon, how are you all today? It's been a while since I've posted a vegan recipe, I'm really sorry about that, I've been traveling due to work training! I made this delicious concoction yesterday evening and I loved it; I'm using the left overs and eating it for lunch today :).
I hope you are having a lovely day so far, I know that I will be ordering my boyfriends anniversary present right after this!
Any how, if you want to know how to make this recipe, have a read below and enjoy! :D

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

Ingredients

  • 50 grams plain rice;
  • 3 vegan sausages (I used Linda McCartney);
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 red pepper;
  • 1 garlic clove;
  • chili sauce (optional)

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. At the same time take 300ml of water and boil it, place the boiled water in a medium pan and turn the heating setting on 2-3;
  2. place the rice into the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes;
  3. when the oven as reached 180, put the sausages in and cook for 10 minutes;
  4. prepare your vegetables: cut the onion into fine pieces, and do the same with the pepper and garlic. Put all the veg into one bowl and keep to one side;
  5. drain the rice and place into your bowl of choice;
  6. take the veg and mix it in with the rice;
  7. take the sausages, cut them up and mix it together with the rice and veg mixture;
  8. drizzle chili sauce on top (optional);
  9. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

Onion:
Onions are a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

L'occitane store-my experience and review

Have you seen my giveaway? If not click here!

Good afternoon! How are you today! It's been extremely hot and I've been loving every moment of it! I've been gardening, about to head into town to grab another flower pot; I have too many flowers! Any how, I went to London a few weeks back and headed into L'occitane for a few holiday bits; walked out with more than intended, but the shopping experience was wonderful! I thought I would share what happened in store :)

If you like these little blog posts then have a little read below and enjoy!:D

If you want to read another shopping experience click here!

Side note: I have been working in retail for over 3 years now, which have entailed: food, fashion, make-up, phones etc. I know what's expected in a store layout as well as customer service.

PRESENTATION:

Store layout:
In regards to L'occitane's shop layout they are refreshing, tranquil and peaceful, not to mention the fact down right beautiful. The variety of colours burst from corner to corner; wherever you lay your eyes positivty is found in the darkest of places. It's a very clear layout, their products are easy to find and are sectioned out clearly For example, the hair care is given their own section with: shampoo, conditioner, masks etc, what you would normally find in haircare. The same applied to body care and skin care. I also noticed that they split the women and men's products which I thought was genius! If a man or women went to go shopping there they would know what products suit them best; L'occitane do their research and know what is best for men and women.
On the other hand, I adored that they put their best sellers on the front table! Not only is it easy to grab, but ALL customers can see what they are best known for, they can trust the company because these are the most famous products. It puts trust into customers as well as giving L'occitane a better reputation.
I also noticed that the store was very spacious, this is a must have in my book, simply because I have a disabled mother, I am always on the hunt for retail stores to make it easy for people with disabilities; and L'occitane is! If you know someone that has an electric scooter or wheelchair take them to L'occitane, it's stress free and a relaxing experience.
Product presentation:In regards to their products they are without a doubt perfect. They are all in line and match with the season, best-sellers, theme etc. For example, in the picture above, the lilac soap and matching lotion is in line, it's not wonky it's consistent throughout; the same applies to the rest of the products and displays. From a customers perspective this gives me a great first impression, if I walk into a store and their products are displayed beautifully like L'occitane then they not only care about their business, but also that they are what their customers think. Throughout their day the employees evidently clear up after customers; just to make sure that they meet potential customers standards, as well as secret shoppers. In addition, if I see that they have put in the extra effort I am more likely as a customer going to buy a product from their store, because I have seen the effort, they appear to be a great company as they are neat and tidy and have best sellers on their front table.
Staff presentation:
They were stunning. Their uniform was matching and clean, they looked consistent, I could tell who was an employee and who wasn't. It sounds like a stupid statement to make, but you would be surprised that some shops I enter I can't tell who works there on not, for example Topshop is awful with this; I know that the Welwyn Store is anyway; they all wear different items of clothing, and some don't even ware their lanyard. I can't stress enough how well L'occitane present themselves, they are beautiful. Because their presentation is fantastic I am more likely to go up to them for help, as well as thinking that the business is professional as they care about what their employees look like.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

As soon as I entered L'occitane they gave me a smile, waved and said hello! Already I'm feeling humble and welcome, they weren't standing right by the door, they were around the shop floor. Which is perfect because they were not in my face, and they didn't make me feel uncomfortable. They let me shop around for a while, I had put some items aside. I was interested in some eyecream, sometimes my eyes get very red and dry. A kind lady came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I explained my situation and she showed me the array of eyecreams and said that this and this would be best for me. She tried them on my skin and let me compare. While this was happening she asked me what I liked and what were my hobbies, I said that I was a blogger and that I was going to blog this at some point! I can't remember her name but she works in the one on Regent Street! Long blonde hair? Anywho! I decided to get the Angelica Hydration eyecream, in which I will be writing a review on soon! I will also be using this cream when I head to France :).
She was very lovely and I can't wait to go back there again! Because of her excellent customer service I want to go back there! L'occitane know who to hire as I have never had a bad experience in there!
I would highly recommend heading into L'occitane, there are so many different people that work there and they are super kind and friendly!

If you want to browse their beautiful website click here!

This is the end of my blog post! I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did thank you every so much! It means a lot that you can sit there and read my post. I put so much time and effort into every blog post; and it's nice to see that people enjoy what I do :).
I love you all very much! I will see you again tomorrow! I am heading out to town now, so I will catch you there!

Good morning lovely people! How are you today? Sorry that I didn't post anything else yesterday, but I had a family event which I adored! I tried to take as many pictures as I could, but not many of them wanted their pictures taken. As well as this, I was really enjoying myself, so much banter and chitter chatter was going on. The only pictures I could take was of me and Chris (my boyfriend) on my family's field :).

Family tradition:

Every single year in the Summer, my family have always held a BBQ. This is the only time of the year where all the family can get together and see one another. My mum's side of the family is crazy! But a good crazy! Last year we used the public field-as shown in the above pictures and made our own waterslide! We weren't able to do it this time, simply because people were in so much pain and the mess that came into the house was unbelievable! Normally we throw paint at one another or have  a laser party but we were rather tame this year! Only banter, dogs and chickens! And yes ... That's tame :').
When I was younger I used to hate these family events, I was shy and timid, and they were the complete and utter opposite! But after the years past I've grown up and seen how important spending time with family is. You don't always have to segregate yourself from your aunts and uncles; it's nice to see them, especially if they are filled with banter.

What did we do this year?

Fundamentally, the BBQ starts around 2-3, but I was inviting my boyfriend and he had work, so I had to wait until 5:30 for him to finish. Me and him arrived later on in the day. As soon as my family saw me and Chris they screamed and shouted YYEAHHHH! Welcomed us with open arms, was pleased to see me; and then started the banter with poor Chris. There was food galore, even vegan food! It was delightful; just what me and Chris wanted after work.
Most of it endured of what I was studying, where I'm going in September, as well as getting to know Chris. After the interviews were done, me and Chris went to the field (their back-garden) and had some alone time. As you can see in the videos and pictures, we went on a romantic walk and just relaxed.
After that was done, the alcohol was calling my name, I had a few shots as well as cocktails. It came to around 11pm and it was time to go home, we called a taxi and went straight to bed!

When will the next one be?

I was talking to my aunt and uncle and they are hoping on hosting another family BBQ in August, closer to my aunts Birthday or my Nan's. Even though she's not here physically, we still like to celebrate her Birthday. This time though I think they might make the home made water-slide. Simply because it's a massive event we are celebrating. Children are going to be there; it'll be fantastic.

This is the end of the blog post, thank you so much for reading. Hopefully next time I will be able to take more pictures of my family, they don't like their pictures taken, they want to live in the moment. I love you all and my family so very much! I'm pleased to of shared this with you guys! I hope you enjoyed yourself! I will see you again later on today or tomorrow!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :D  x x x
