Good evening Little Ones! 2017 has drawn to a close, say hello to 2018! How were your evening celebrations? Great I hope! It was time to take a break from University work, and focus on my true love ... My Blog! Let's kick the year off with what I expect from 2018, and what my personal goals and ambitions are. I have already uploaded a video on this, so if you want to watch that then click here! If not, then carry on reading!

WHAT I EXPECT FROM 2018:

Needless to say, every year entails hiccups, more often than not; but it's how we deal with those bumps on the road, that help us grow as an individual. In terms of what I expect from 2018, is that it hands me challenges; without leaving a negative impact on me, I also expect a happier surrounding from other people! Nothing is worse than living in a negative aura.
What else is there to be said in this segment? I'm easily pleased, as long as you respect me, I will respect you.

MY GOALS:

Let's start this section off with my biggest ambition! I want to finish writing my book! I've had to pick it up and put it down, I found it hard to manage my time effectively in 2017; but I need that to change for 2018. I don't want to say "new year new me"; but I do want to turn over a new leaf; and start over.
For me, finishing writing my book would make me exceedingly happy; if this is the only aim I accomplish, that will satisfy me 100%.
Evidently I do have other goals I want to achieve, one of those being to, maintain my constant grades for university, and finish my second year with another first. I did it last year, now for repeating it for this year, and in my third.
Let's not stop there! I wish to refurbish my entire blog website ... I have massive plans around June/July! New designs, illustrations and interaction! I want to be more active on my blog; let's address the elephant in the room. There were time-frames where I wouldn't post for months at a time. And I have no-one to blame but myself; I should've managed my time, my blog is where I started; and I should have never let it go. But this is the year where I will be posting 3 TIMES A WEEK! MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY! I might even post more, but they are my DEDICATED days; and I WILL NOT break them! I want to be consistent, and grow, I can't do that without sticking to this.
I love you all so much, and I need to respect that I can't leave for long periods of time, and expect you to stay loyal.
Now for the last goal ... It's personal to me, and this may take years, but if I can improve slightly I will be content. I need to PUSH myself to be more social, behind the computer screen, and camera I'm an extremely awkward and timid person. I've riddled with anxiety and depression. Not as bad as it has been, I've been working on that for years. But it's effected the way I communicate with others. I want to be able to make friends easier, and some people will read that and think, 'pathetic', but I find it so hard to mingle with people. I overshare and trust people too quickly, but I want to be more confident, and not care so much about what people think of me. I have the support of my Fiance, close friend circle, my family and you guys.

Now let's work together and complete our goals! We will grab 2018 by the core and kick it's butt! Why not make it the best year yet?! Let's do it!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I loved writing it! I love you all so bery much, and I will see you Wednesday with a classic product review! Unless you want something different? Let me know! Stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x

Advice- what not to do in relationships

A guide on what not to do in relationships

Hello my lovely's, how are we doing today? Finally managed to get a good night sleep in me! I had my boyfriend over, I felt super safe and relaxed with him being there :).
I have been trying to post this blog post since late last night, but the WiFi wasn't having it, and then decided to delete it .. Fun times right.
I thought that it would be interesting and helpful to note down what you shouldn't do in relationships; I was treated badly in the past; from my ex's behaviours I have created a list of what not to do in relationships.
Most of these are common sense, but there are things out there which some people might not know. If you want to give this post a little read then go ahead :).

If you want to read other advice blog posts, click here!

Background information:
I've had 3 years of experience with relationships, in this time frame I had 3 relationships (not including the one I'm in now). I'm not going to name names, but these 3 individuals taught me a lot about how bad relationships can be; because before I met Chris, I was never truly happy; simply because I was never treated right.
I've been cheated on countless times, hurt mentally and physically. Not all of them physically hurt me, only one of them, and that was my first ever boyfriend; if you want to know more about that situation click here.
I still am a very shy and kind person, maybe I was too kind to all of them, if they wanted anything I gave my all, but in return they gave nothing back, they took advantage of my personality. But I have learnt so much from these people, I have learnt to become stronger as a person, and not have to give everything up. Now I am truly and utterly happy with Chris, we have nearly been together a year :).

Don't lie to your partner:

This sounds obvious, and for some people out there who are reading this is probably thinking I'm stupid. I'm really not. Don't lie to your other half, I can't stress enough how much this  hurt me over the years, I don't care how much the truth hurts, I can handle the truth. Lies ruin trust, which is one of the main factors in a relationship; it's the glue that holds everything together-if that is broken chances are you won't be together very long after that incidence. Female or male, just don't lie, if you can't be truthful to the person you claim to love then leave, because they don't deserve to be treated in this way.
Some of the lies that I was told was told ruined me:
  • "I would never cheat on you, you're my world";
  • "I love you";
  • "I will always be there for you";
  • "she's nobody, just a friend, she's like a sister to me"
  • "I was out in town, sorry I was late";
  • "my Granddad died"

Don't put their hopes up and bring them down:

This was constant for me, I learnt over the years that if they said they were going to do something, chances are they weren't. This is one of the most disappointing factors, simply because there modd could change in a heartbeat. For example, there was a time where my ex promised to take me out, it was to say sorry for something that he did previously. I made sure that I looked nice, spent hours getting ready and even bought new clothes. I walked to where we were meant to meet and waited for at least an hour; for him to say, "sorry, something came up I will do it another time".
I can't stress this enough, if  you can't keep your word, or do what you say you are going to do, either change the way you treat people or leave your current partner; simply because this is heartbreaking.

Don't take advantage of them:

Don't ask or take money:
Don't ask for money, or even guilt trip them into giving you money. That is their money, they have worked hard for that, if they want to treat you they will, but only when they want to and if they can afford to. If you ask for money on a regular basis get your own job or spend your own wages. In my case I had an ex who would constantly ask for money, and I would give it to them as they would make me feel awful if I didn't. They would also steal from me, all of my hard working pennies went on them; and not because I wanted to. This ruins relationships, I wish I left that person sooner; but because of certain circumstances I couldn't.

Never forget your friends:

When you head into a new relationship you start to put your partner before anyone else, but don't let this consume your life. You have known your friends more than this person you are currently with. I made this mistake once and I hated myself for it; I put my ex's before my friends and I regret it so much; I hurt them as I didn't make time for them. In my current relationship I share myself equally, I don't spend too much time with my boyfriend or friends; I also need alone time when it comes to it-everyone needs to relax at some point in their life.

Don't compare your other half:

Never do this! And if you do STOP IT RIGHT NOW! The amount of time my ex's would do this, it would break my heart and shatter it to millions of pieces. I was constantly compared to other girls who had bigger boobs, bigger hips and prettier faces. It really does take a toll, it makes you feel worthless and not good enough. I always struggled putting on weight, I'm a very slim person; and with this comes no boobs. I was constantly reminded of this insecurity. If your boyfriend or girlfriend is constantly comparing you to other people; they are not worth your time. Leave them, because you are amazing in your own way, if they can't see that and won't appreciate you, then they don't deserve your beautiful self.

This is the end of my post! Thank you so much for reading this! If you are going through this situation, then get yourself out of it! If  you want to contact me for further information then please feel to do so :). If you are reading this and you are doing this to people, leave the person you are with and change yourself; people should not be treated in this way; it ruins them for years-believe me I was a victim of this.
I love you all so very much, I will see you tomorrow with a review! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :D x x x

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Hello my lovely Little ones! How have you been today? The weather in the UK has been beautiful! Sun all around. I have another vegan recipe for you, I hope you enjoy. If you want to find out how to make this meal, scoot your eyes below and have a little read:).

You can check out my other pasta recipe click here!

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of freefrom pasta, I used 50 grams of penne and 50 grams of rotini, simply because I was running low on the two and had to merge two together;
  • Freefrom red pesto sauce;
  • 25 grams of peas;
  • 1 shallot;
  • 1 garlic glove;
  • chopped up coriander (optional);
  • salt and pepper;
  • extra virgin olive oil.
  • chili powder
Keep in mind, when cooking the pasta it can go from really hard to soft in minutes! So when you think it's nearly done to your required texture keep a close eye on it :).

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Boil 300ml of water and place into a medium pan, sprinkle salt and pepper and stir;
  2. put the pasta into the pot and stir; cook for 5-7 minutes;
  3. prepare the vegetables; cut up your shallots and garlic and place into a pan with extra virgin olive oil; along with the peas. Cook for 3 minutes;
  4. put chili powder in the vegetable mix and stir;
  5. drain the pasta and place back into the same pan;
  6. pour the vegetable mixture with the pasta and stir;
  7. add the red pesto sauce and stir; let it heat up for 2 minutes;
  8. plate up and sprinkle the coriander on top;
  9. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Pesto:
Pesto is enriched with vitamins A and C, this helps boost your immune system, this will help fight infection, while keeping you fit and healthy. Whereas vitamin A is good is amazing for you eye health; it makes them stronger as well as being a great antioxidant.

Parsley:
Parsley has a huge amount of vitamin K, this helps builds bones and heals heart disease. in addition to this, parsley also has vitamin A, which as we already know is great for our eyes, and acts as a fantastic antioxidant.

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

  • Raspberries (or any fruit of your choice);
  • Yogurt or golden syrup (or any topping of your choice)

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Heat the pan with a little oil in there (setting 2 on an electric hob, and the same for gas);
  2. Sift the flour and salt into a bowl;
  3. Add the almond milk and oil into the flour mixture and stir until the batter has the consistency of elastic;

Raspberries:
Raspberries are great for the brain, for example; it decreases the delay in cognitive ability related to aging. As well as this, raspberries are enriched with potassium, this helps repair and build: organs, cells and tissue.

Strawberries:
Strawberries are great antioxidants, they really cleanse the body and make you feel energised; this is perfect if you have had a really long day, or you are just about to start the day. Also, they are great to hydrate your body, simply because 91% of the strawberry is water; if you struggle drinking water, this is a great supplement for that.

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Hello! Hope you are all doing well, I thought that it was about time to introduce you to my favourite vegan meal; this is what has saved me! It's super healthy and damn right delicious! I made this on the spot when I was super hungry and it goes well with the pasta I made here! I just hoped for the best. It turned out great! :D
It's really simple and easy to make, if you would like to know this secret, look below and create :)

Ingredients

  • 50 grams peas
  • 25 grams sweetcorn
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 2 shallots
  • chili spices or one chili (whichever you prefer)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50 grams new potatoes (or whatever potatoes you want, I just picked these as they fit perfectly in my on-the-go tub)
  • Sabra roasted pepper hummus
  • chili sauce
  • Extra virgin olive oil
(You can make your own chili sauce and hummus, but I wanted to show you the simple way first, we don't want to make it too complicated yet) :)

With the measurements you don't have to stick to this exact amount, go by what your body is telling you :)

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Boil 300ml of water and place in pan;
  2. Put your potatoes in the pan and use the salt and pepper to season the water, (this leaves a subtle but nice flavour on the potatoes);
  3. Prepare you shallot and garlic, cut them up to the size you want;
  4. In a small pan, put boiling water in and place the peas and sweetcorn in there;
  5. Combine the garlic and shallots to the pea and sweetcorn mixture; add the extra virgin olive oil; chili spices, salt and pepper and stir;
  6. Place the vegetables into your desired container;
  7. Take out your potatoes and poke them with a folk, (they should be soft); drizzle the oil over them and shake in pan;
  8. Add the potatoes to the vegetables in your desired container;
  9.  Put the hummus and chili sauce on the side for dipping and flavour;
  10. ENJOY!

Why these ingredients?

Peas:
Peas are filled with Vitamin C, this helps build the immune system and makes it stronger over time, this will prevent you from feeling ill. As well as this, peas are also filled with B6, this will stimulate co-enzymatic activities, this entails protecting the immune system and having great effects on the metabolism, (speed it up).

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

Shallot:
Shallots is a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

Thank you for reading this post, hope you enjoy and recreate, stay tuned little ones :) x x x
