Welcome back Little Ones! Could you have guessed that it was exam season? I have finally put together a secure timetable which enables me to: write blog posts, film videos, model, revise as well as learn to drive!
Yes, I’ve picked up driving, would you believe that I’ve just found the time to drive?
Anyhow, I’m sorry that I've left you in the dark for a couple of weeks, believe me it’s not been a barrel of laughs; but I’m back in business and ready to give you a review!
I’ve accomplished so much, but to edge back into blogging I thought I would start off simple and give you a beloved review!
To ensure you are keeping up to date with my content, click here! Without any further or do, let’s crack on with the review!

THE PACKAGING:

Let’s face it, we all know that Chanel implements marvellous packing, which is why I was heavily disappointed when I saw this component … Yes, I know, packing isn’t everything, but when you are paying a large sum of money for a foundation, you best be mighty fine!
It didn’t knock my socks off, when I emulate Chanel in my mind, pure sophistication and opulence runs through my veins, when I was face to face with this component, I never expected a plastic squeeze tube for my foundation … Especially from Chanel.
Convenient? Tick, you can access the correct amount of foundation, no risk of spilling … But there’s also another mechanism which has been invented … A pump, why could there not have been a pump in a matt glass bottle? Why did you stoop so low Chanel? It’s not like your entire foundation line have been pumped into plastic bottles, your le teint ultra tenue comes in a matt bottle … With a pump?

Points for experimenting but stick to what you know.
I’m aware that some of you may be thinking, “wow, she’s overreacting, and completely snobby” … I’m all for drugstore foundations, Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation is fantastic, great shade range, longevity, and only £7.99 … And guess what, it comes in a glass bottle, but even if it didn’t I wouldn’t care … Because it's only £7.99.

THE PRODUCT:

Chanel, the contents inside the bottle is pure brilliance, initially when you squeeze the foundation out of the tube, you are met with a creamy consistency, not too thick that it’s going to bury your pores alive, but not too watery where it slides all over the place.
It’s the Goldilocks of foundation consistency … Now that we’ve established that the texture is perfect, let’s get onto how this product applies.
Traditionally, I always prep my skin with my beloved Origins moisturiser, as well as the YSL secrets primer, after that’s sunk into the skin, I applied the Chanel foundation with my beauty blender, the more I buffed into the skin, the more I fell in love with this product.
My skin appeared radiant, healthy and goddess like … My skin looked like real skin, I know that sounds bizarre, but some foundations place a weird film over your face, which makes your skin beneath the makeup appear fake, (not the look I’m going for).
I was pleasantly surprised that not only was this foundation medium coverage, but I could build the coverage without the product appearing blotchy or greasy.
I’m the type of woman that adores natural makeup, I want luminous skin without my redness starring in the show, is that too much to ask for?
Anyhow, after I’d finished applying the foundation, I couldn’t believe how beautiful my skin was … I’m not a confident person, nor do I like my appearance, but I can confidently state that was skin was perfect.
The foundation covered everything I wanted, while still letting my natural skin shine through.
Something I should mention, I have very dry skin … When I purchase a foundation, I need it to moisturise my skin, and not settle in my dry patches, as soon as a foundation highlights my dry skin; it goes flying into the bin.
Luckily enough, this foundation aided my dry skin, making it look better than ever, the longevity of this product is insane, for a hydrating product I made it to the 8-hour mark before having to touch up, and even then, it still looked reasonably presentable.
Lastly, before you use this product each time you have to shake it, otherwise the product settles at the bottom and it comes out curdled … Doesn’t look pretty, but as long as you shake prior to application nothing will go wrong.
All in all, if you want luminous skin I would highly recommend this product, lasts such a long time, doesn’t settle in my dry patches, and the shade range is fantastic … I’m exceedingly pale, and the lightest shade (10 beige) couldn’t suit my complexion better.

THE PRICE:

If you’ve come here expecting a budget foundation, unfortunately this isn’t the review or product for you … The vitalumiere aqua foundation retails for a total of, £37.
Yes … I know, it’s expensive, but I’m the type of consumer that would pay extra if it meets all my requirements.
This foundation executed perfectly, I couldn’t have asked for a better product, it’s now my current favourite and I have no idea how any other product is going to top this one.
Seeing that it matched my skin complexion, lasted all day, and made my skin look radiant … It’s a win in my books.
I have no idea how this would turn out for someone with oily skin, it may just slide off? I have no idea, but what I do know, is that if you suffer with stubborn dry skin, this is the foundation for you.
I know this isn’t the most affordable foundation, but I do have other drugstore alternatives, I’ll be listing and giving a detailed review, on the best drugstore foundations … And yes, that will be arriving in the week.
If you are interested in this product I will leave the link below for you, saves you typing it!

Thank you for getting this far, I know my reviews are always lengthy, but I want you guys to leave with as much information as possible.
There’s nothing worse than buying a product after reading a few short reviews, and finding out it doesn’t work … I’ve been there and it’s extremely frustrating.
Let me know what you would like me to write next, I’m always up for suggestions, if not then I will control the reins and post whatever comes to mind.
I hope you have a lovely day, I’m just about to head to work!
I love you all so very much, thank you for reading! I will see you in the next blog post! Remember to stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x

Good evening Little Ones! How has your day been so far? I thought that I would give you another product review, since that's what you wanted! BUT, I want to get into more baking, so when I'm 100% better you can expect to see more recipes! I have filmed a video on this product, so if you want to check that out, then click here!
If that's not your cup of tea feel free to stay where you are, carry on reading! So, without further or do, let's crack on with the review.

THE PACKAGING:

Well hello Dior! This is the only foundation, and beauty product that I own by Dior ... First impressions, I'm wowed! Exceedingly elegant, yet simple ... I adore the flash of monochrome metal and black contrast; it dazzles just like a star, how fitting?
Dior have remained consistent throughout this entire product, tying in micro detailing, for instance, the initials of Christian Dior placed elegantly on the lid cap; it makes it feel personal, embellished and worth your cash. It's almost like you have an autograph by Christian Dior.
What else can be said? That's right, I do love a glass bottle, especially when I've paid a large sum of money, my other favourite feature on foundation would have to be, the trusty pump. Thank you Dior for including a pump! I loath nothing more than having to pray that foundation doesn't spill over my hand; due to NO pump. But as you can tell by the lovely photographs, there is a pump.
Overall, this is a beautiful looking product, defiantly something to place on the mantelpiece.

THE PRODUCT:

Now onto my favourite segment! Does this product work? Well if you have oily skin, this product is going to melt into the skin; (in a good way) ... But if you suffer with dry skin, like myself, it's difficult to work with. BUT, if you prep the skin correctly, this is the PERFECT foundation. Before you apply this foundation, PLEASE exfoliate your skin, I can't emphasis this enough! If you don't, this foundation will cling onto your dry patches, and make you question why you even purchased this in the first place. And for the love of God, please prime and moisturise the skin ... Just please. Doesn't have to be the best; but please! After putting in all the hard work, it DOES pay off, this gives your skin such a glow, it looks so healthy, while giving you medium to full coverage. This product lasts around 6 hours, and then you do have to powder; just like other foundations.
Fundamentally, when I purchased this foundation I didn't get along with it, and I didn't see the point in prepping my skin ... But, it's such a beautiful foundation, it turned into my favourite, until I discovered my beloved YSL All Hours. But this is a close second, even replaced my Nars Sheer Glow, and we all know how much I loved that foundation.
Just to mention, the shade range is fantastic, I purchased the shade, Ivory 010-which is the lightest shade they had available. It suited me, it was slightly too dark, but when I apply concealer on top, you can't notice. I am extremely pale, so finding a foundation that suits my skin-tone is a challenge.

THE PRICE:

Yes it's Dior, it's going to be expensive ... But I love the product, and it's completely worth, £35. This is slightly more than my YSL foundation, which retails for, £33.50. Yes it's pricey, but if you weigh up all the benefits, you can really get your money out of this product. It took me a while to fall in love with this product; but it was completely worth it.

If you are curious to purchase this product, I'll leave a link below for you!

YSL ALL HOURS FOUNDATION REVIEW

YSL ALL HOURS FOUNDATION

Good morning Little Ones! Here is another product review, I've already filmed a video on this product, if you want to watch that as well, then click here! If you don't fancy that, then you might as well stay here. I've received a tone of requests to write a review on this baby, so that's what I'm doing. Sit back, relax and get on to reading!

THE PACKAGING:

YSL nail it again ... This will always be mentioned, as I've still yet to come across something that doesn't appear marvellous. Why not start with the uni-carton? Iconic golden goddess, how can you not resist? It simmers, and almost gravitates you to hold the product ... I'm a packaging addict so this is a problem to me; anyone else feel the same?
Now onto the foundation packaging! This foundation is coated in an eloquent matte glass bottle, something I've never seen from YSL before, they usually come packaged in a shiny glass component, but that;s something I love about this brand; they always switch it up and keep you on your toes. On the other hand, they've kept it simple, adding the harsh noir line makes it the centre point; and it's smart that they've integrated the line and placed the name of the foundation; this clearly differentiates each foundation that YSL produce.
In relation to the cap, I wish it was metal, instead it's plastic ... It doesn't match the matte glass, it's almost out of place. They've created such an opulent component, and finished it with a plastic lid; it doesn't ruin it completely; but they could've kept the metal lid aspect. But if that's the only flaw I can find; it's not the end of the world.

THE PRODUCT:

Firstly, my shade is BR10, COOL PORCELAIN, this is the lightest shade they offer ... Yes I know I'm rather pale, (not a shock). With me, finding a shade that actually matches my skin is a nightmare! But this YSL All Hours Foundation is PERFECT! The match is incredible, this foundation does oxidise so be careful and make sure you get colour-matched.
When you initially pump this foundation to the back of your hand, it pours out like liquid velvet ... Sounds odd, but if you purchase this product, you'll know exactly what I mean. The formula isn't so watery that it runs down your hand, but it's not so thick that it feels uncomfortable, it's literally the perfect consistency. Thus, when applying it blends out like a dream, I had no issue covering my entire face, and if I needed to layer, it wouldn't cake up or go patchy.
Something that I should mention is that this is a matte finish, so it's not meant for dry skin, but seeing that I'd fallen in love at the counter, I purchased a hydrating primer which coincided with this foundation. I have very dry skin, to the point where it flakes, (beautiful right?), without this primer, this foundation does settle into my dry patches and enhances them ... Not the best look, BUT if I use the primer I don't have this issue.
In relation to longevity, it lasts up to 9 hours, this is without me powdering! But if I was to add powder throughout the day, I could say that this would last 12 hours; it won't be the most flawless foundation day ever, but it's still on the skin.
On the other hand, something else that I should mention, is that this product doesn't have a scent, which I love! Additionally, it doesn't make me break out, or irritate my skin ... I would know as I suffer with eczema. All in all, this foundation is wonderful, the finish is stunning and it lasts such a long time. Remember if you do suffer with dry skin, just remember to exfoliate and moisturise your face to the max! It does work, but you have to go the extra mile; it's worth it I promise!

THE PRICE:

When I purchased this bad boy, I was lucky enough to have 20% off the original price, as my local John Lewis was conducting a sale! But normally this would cost, £33.50, which is a pricey foundation, it's the most expensive one I own to date. But who am I to say something is too expensive? Would I repurchase this product at the full price? Yes I would, because it works for me, and it's worth my money, if you feel different to that, then that's your opinion.
The features of this foundation make it worth the high price point, the formula is extremely long wearing, the finish is beautiful, and it even works with my exceedingly dry skin!

If you are curious to purchase this product, I'll leave a link below for you!

That is it for today's blog post, if you want me to review the primer that goes perfectly with this foundation then I will post that for tomorrows blog post! If not then please do tell me what you want to read next! I love you all so very much, stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x
