Also running into town to get a few bits and pieces, then I need to double check if my glasses have arrived; because I can't see properly; I'm surprised I've been able to write clear blog posts.
Any how, it's not too long for Christmas! I'm so excited! Also have you seen the giveaway I'm hosting on my blog, if not then Click here! All you have to do is follow my blog and you are automatically entered! Now lets get on with the blog post :D.

  • 1 squash;
  • 1 precooked chicken leg;
  • 3 plums;
  • soy-sauce;

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Making the sauce: cut and skin the plums and put them into a blender, add the soy-sauce and blend, then put to one side.
  2. Prepare your vegetables: cut the pepper into fine strips, and the squash into little squares; this way it cooks faster.
  3. Put oil into a pan and place the vegetables in there, wait until they are soft and then add the chicken;
  4. after 3 minutes add the egg noodles and homemade plum sauce until steaming hot;

Have you seen my giveaway? If not click here!

Hello and welcome! How are you today? Sorry for being so late in posting this, but I had to attend a LAN meeting at my future university in September :).
I know these recipes are your favourite, so I gave you what you wanted, and that's another vegan smoothie! :D
This is my favourite creation of mine yet! The sweetness of the apricots and the syrup combined is mouthwatering! If you want to find out out to make this tropical concoction; have a little read below :).

 Ingredients:

  • 3 apricots;
  • 200 ml;
  • 1 tbs of golden syrup.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Prepare the fruit; wash the apricots, cut them in half and then into quarters. After this is done place them into the blender of your choice;
  2. add the almond milk and the golden syrup;
  3. blend this fruity goodness for 3 minutes. You don't have to do it for this long, but that's because I like a smooth smoothie with no bits.
  4. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Almond milk:
Almond milk is filled with potassium, this helps prepare and enhance: cells, tissue and organs in the human body. This is essential in everyday life, you always need to repair yourself.

Apricots are filled with vitamins A and C. Vitamins C is fantastic for the skin, it's proven to reduce wrinkles for tightening the skin, as well as making it smooth and refreshing; this is the main ingredients they put in all skincare brands. Whereas vitamin A plays a vital role in bone growth, reproduction and immune system health.

Vegan Recipe

Watermelon, orange and yogurt smoothie

Twitter:AmyRoseMcGuire
Email: missamymcguire@hotmail.com
Good afternoon! Change of plans, but I thought that I would give you another vegan recipe! I love experimenting with different fruits; and I'm always in the mood for a good old smoothie! So I decided to share my creation with you!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! If you want to know how to make this, have a little look below and enjoy! :D

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

Ingredients:

  • 1 watermelon;
  • 25ml orange juice;
  • 25 grams vegan yogurt, (I used alpro raspberry).

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Prepare your fruit: cut the watermelon in half, and half again; this makes quarters, ( as shown in the pictures above). After you have done this, slice the quarters so that they are in strips. Cut around the melon and the skin so you are left with the red flesh. Cut these into cubes;
  2. put the watermelon into the blender and add the orange and the yogurt;
  3. blend for a few seconds, because watermelon is a water based fruit the smoothie won't be lumpy;
  4. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Watermelon:
Watermelon's are filled with vitamins A, B6 and C, and is also an amazing antioxidant. Vitamin C is amazing for the skin, it replenishes the several layers of skin, as well as keeping it hydrated and firm. Vitamin C is common in skin care brands, as it has a multitude of benefits for the skin. As well as this, watermelon also fights infections and builds the immune system.

Orange:
Oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C. They are also a very good source of dietary fiber. Just like the watermelon, oranges are great for the skin. When I make a facial mask oranges are my go to ingredient; not only do they smell great; but they feel fantastic on the skin; it makes me feel awake.

I hope your day has been amazing so far, and if not, then make it great! I know that I will hopefully be posting another blog post this evening; but I will be heading to my boyfriend's for dinner :).
You will hear from me soon though! Stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Vegan Recipe

Rice and roasted vegetables

Twitter:AmyRoseMcGuire
Email: missamymcguire@hotmail.com

Good morning lovely people! I came back from work yesterday and I needed food ASAP! I was super hungry, but I wanted something different from pasta. I quickly put this together and was VERY happy with the result.
If you want to know how to make this delicious dinner or lunch look below and follow the few simple steps :)

If you want to look at other vegan recipes click here!

Ingredients:

  • 3 peppers (red, green, orange or yellow), whichever you prefer;
  • 1 whole garlic;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 chili;
  • 50 grams rice, (this can be brown or white);
  • chili sauce (optional);
  • salt and pepper;
  • olive oil.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180;
  2. prepare your vegetables. Cut the: peppers into strips, and then quarter the onion and garlic. Finally slice up your chili (keep the seeds for extra heat);
  3. set your hob to number 4 and place the rice in a pot with already boiling water;
  4. after the rice has come to the boil, put a lid over it and leave to simmer, (change the temperature to 1-2), leave to cook for 10-15 minutes;
  5. put the vegetables on a baking tray with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper; place in oven and leave to cook for 20 minutes;
  6. drain the rice and leave to sit for 5 minutes, this releases the starch;
  7. put the rice on a plate and take the vegetables out of the oven, put the vegetables on top of the rice;
  8. put chili sauce over the top, (optional);
  9. ENJOY!:D

Why these ingredients:

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

Onion:
Onions are a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

Brown rice:
Brown rice is a great carbohydrate, it's a long lasting food and helps you fight hunger throughout the day. It would be advisable to have this at lunch or even breakfast time, as it will give you the engery to last throughout the day. It also makes you fill full up, which is great if you are on a diet as you won't need to snack as often.

Thank you for reading this post, it means a lot that you take the time out of your day to read my blog posts :)
I will see you again tomorrow with another blog post. I love you all, stay tuned Little one's and have a lovely day :) x x x
