Shopping experience review

Lush Store review:

Hello and good morning Little ones! I'm heading off to get my retainers, but in the mean time I thought that I would write a quick blog post on my experience in most Lush stores.
Small disclaimer: I have not been paid by Lush to do this, I just wanted to share my positive experience at Lush. 

If you want to know my Lush experience, sit back, relax and have a banana :).

Side-note: I have been working in retail for 3 years now, I know what is expected from: sales assistants, supervisor, managers etc. This has helped me an awful lot, as I know exactly what to look out for when heading into a store; for example, customer needs etc. 

PRESENTATION:

• Store layout:
  I have been to a multitude of Lush stores, and they always have a wide and spacious opening, this is also consistent throughout the entire store. This is a massive thumbs up for me, simply because my mother is disabled, she owns an electric scooter, I see her swerving through stores at times and there is no room for her! This aggravates me so much, but knowing that Lush offer a wide shop floor arrangement makes me extremely content. It also benefits the average Jo, it makes it easier for us to walk around the store, and not get in people's way. I know how frustrating it is when you want to look at the dragon egg bath bomb, but honey, please move :'). Something also that I love with Lush, especially on Oxford Street, they place the same product in different areas, so that people don't crowd around one product, this is bloody genius! Thank you Lush God! Gold star for Lush!
  In regards to where the products are in the store, they are clearly labeled, and have their own individual section. This is the best invention on earth, it makes the shopping experience so much easier and less stressful! From a customers point of view, the easier the company make my shopping experience, the more likely I am to buy into their brand. With Lush it's a no brainer! I love them as a company, they are perfection! 
• Products presentation:Lush never fail to make their products look beautiful, and tasty! I remember when I took my boyfriend Chris, and he thought he could eat the soap; he was confused when I said he couldn't :'). As shown in the pictures above, the soap bars look like luxury chocolates; but they are presented in a straight line. This shows that they are organised and consistent throughout; and this reflects their outstanding business. In addition to this, I love the way they place their bath bombs in a triangle formation, it looks astonishing and so professional. From a customers point of view, having products that look amazing makes me feel that the business cares about their business, and that they care what their customers think. Being a fan of Lush for years I know that they go the extra mile when it comes to their customers, anyone that goes to Lush will know what I'm talking about, and if you don't just look at how stunning their products are. 
• Staff presentation:
  They are consistent throughout, they all wear black and have aprons, just so they don't get their uniform dirty. It also hints that they are professional, simply because they are going to get messy during their job, especially when demonstrating a product. It lets the customer know that they look the part as well as acting like it. The fact that they are all consistent shows that they care about their image, and the impact that this has on the company; they evidently want to spread a positive message to their customers; and I get this 100% when I walk into a variety of stores. 

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Without fail, every time I enter a store, there is always someone there greeting every customer that walks in. They are content and friendly; it feels like you've pumped into a friend. When you've wondered around the store, you get various customer assistants coming up to you and asking if you need help. But they aren't pushy, it literally feels like a friend talking to you. As a customer, this is so important, if you make me feel comfortable I will want to stay in the store. They make me feel wanted, they care about my needs and expectations, and are completely chill if they have to explain the ins and outs of a product. They make it hassle free which is a bonus! I hate it when I go into stores and they make you feel like you are being a pain; this in NOT the case at Lush. 

In addition to this, when you need a product explained to you, they will explain it slowly, they will tell you why it suits you, and if not they will recommend a different product. Which I find so helpful! As they want to make sure that they are benefiting you in every way shape and form. They also give you a live demonstration and let you test the products beforehand, this gives you the opportunity to see if you like the product or not, and if so they will pack it up for you.  

All in all, the people I have met in Lush are the nicest people I have ever encountered, I always love going to their store and I wish we had one in Welwyn Garden City.

Hello again! I'm back here again with another Lush review! I love their products, and I love the fact that they help support animals by not testing on them :). How have you all been? Hope you are doing well! If you want to find out what I think about this product and how to use it; look below and enjoy :).

PRESENTATION:

In regards to presentation, I can tell straight away that it's Lush, their iconic black packaging, simplistic plastic containers and white handwritten logo makes it evident that it's them. They have always used this. This differentiates them from other beauty products on the market, as nothing else looks like this. This is another love factor about Lush, I love that they are different, they don't copy other brands and claim it as their own; this makes me want to buy into their products more. In addition to this, I feel that their products are represented as luxurious; which interlinks with their brand, and hand crafted products; you aren't just buying into the company, you are buying luxury and well made products which will last a long time and give you amazing results.

On the other hand, the sizing of the pot (120g) make it convenient and easy to put away, if you are running out of space, this handy facial and body scrub can hide away with ease. You may be thinking, that's a small pot .. Bet a differ, this is my second purchase in 6 months. It lasts for a long period of time; I use this 3 times a week, you can use it more or less; but this is how I like to use it.

THE PRODUCT:

This face and body scrub contains: lime, grapefruit and salt. The lime and grapefruit tighten your skin and make it feel alive and refreshed; so when you go to wipe your face it feels squeaky clean and cool; it also gives you a beautiful refreshing scent. I actually enjoy applying this to my face in the morning, as it wakes me up, and comforts me with the smell of fresh fruit. Whereas the sea salt, acts as a natural exfoliate; this removes all the dead skin, as well as cleaning your pours. I normally focus on my nose and cheeks, as this is where all the dirt is, as well as my dry skin. This also gives me a fresh and smooth base for when I apply my make-up in the morning; it doesn't crease my foundation, and it makes it look more radiant as the scrub has provided me with a fresh new base. 

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT:

1. I clean my face with fresh warm water and take a scoop the size of a golf ball into the palm of my hands;
2. gently massaging around all my face and then focusing on my nose and cheeks;
3. I take it down my neck, and around my face again, this improves circulation in the face; 
4. I wash it all off with warm water and tap the remaining essence of the facial scrub into my skin; this makes me feel more awake;
5. Moisturise your skin with whatever mosituriser you have.

This whole process should take 3-5 minutes, depending how dry your skin is. My skin type is dry to very dry, depending on the season. 

PRICE:

For the size that I have 120g is £7.95. I feel that £7.95 for all natural and expensive ingredients is fantastic, this scrub will last you a minimum of one month, and that's the absolute minimum with this size. £7.95 a month is a great deal in my book, what would you spend that on normally? A few drinks at Starbucks in more than that, and that lasts you 5 minutes. The great thing with Lush is that they offer a multitude of sizes for your convenience, for example the 250g is £14.25 and the 600g is 23.95. Obviously different sizes will benefit everyone differently, if you use it everyday, I would advise the 600g. If you don't have much space to store this, then the smaller one would apply to you.

Good evening Little ones! How have you been today? I'm waiting for my soup to simmer, so I thought I would sit down and write a review on the ever so famous: OATIFIX FACIAL MASK from Lush! If you want to know my thoughts, what this product is about, and how to use it; peel your eyes below and have a good read :) 

This is what the facial mask looks like when you've applied it to the face, I used my hands. It doesn't look attractive, but the smell and results afterwards is beautiful:).

PRESENTATION:

In regards to presentation, I can tell straight away that it's Lush, their iconic black packaging and handwritten logo make it obvious that it's them. I love their packaging, it's simplistic yet luxurious; which interlinks with their products, they are well made products. I love that they place the instructions on the top of the lid, this makes it easier to read and to find; other brands make it impossible to find the 'how to' instructions; whereas Lush have you covered. 

In addition to this, the little black pot makes it convenient and easy to put away, you are evidently meant to put it in the fridge, and if you don't have much space in there, this can easily slide into a tiny corner. You may be thinking, that's a small pot .. Bet a differ, this container holds a mass amount of product! This is my third pot in two years, and I use it once a week, a little goes a long way. 

THE PRODUCT:

This facial mask contains: bananas and illipe butter, this moisturizes the skin beautifully, and it really does, after I have taken the mas off my skin feels like a baby's butt! I suffer with really dry skin, to the point that it actually flakes off during the winter. When I use this mask it replenishes the moisture within my skin, as well as taking away the redness. The other reason why my skin feels silky smooth is because of the, oatmeal, ground almonds and kaolin; this acts an exfoliation. This means that when you are applying, and taking off the mask with water, these grains are getting the last bits of dead skin; in my case this is perfect as I won't have any bits of dead skin on my face, which when I go to apply make-up the following day it creates a perfect silky base. On the other hand ... Can I just tell you the smell of this product is BEAUTIFUL! It's such a natural smell, I actually enjoy putting this on my face as the smell is so comforting and refreshing. If you have ever had the opportunity to walk past a cereal factory; that's what it smells like! :D   

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT:

1. Firstly I like to wash my face completely, especially if I have been wearing make-up. By having a complete clean face, this helps the mask penetrate the first layers of your skin, which is always dry; this will nourish and enrich this skin like it's brand new. 
2. I then leave it for 10-15 minutes, just like the instructions tell you to do. During this time I'll probably be scrolling threw Instagram or Twitter :')
   By leaving this mask on for such a long time, it will get into the nooks and grannies of your skin, this is extremely important and beneficial, especially when you have dry skin. 
3. I wash it off with warm water, and pat ... PAT dry! This is so crucial, instead of wiping away the last essence of the mask, you want to pat it in, to make sure that your skin stays hydrated for the next time that you use it.

PRICE:

This mask comes in one size which is 75 grams, this is a hell of a lot of product, and for that you can buy it on their website or in-store for £6.75. I have tried several facial masks and this is amazing for the price, you may think it's a lot of money, but the benefits is worth it! In this pot in highly expensive ingredients compact in one pot. With this product a little goes a LONG way. Like I said before, this is my THIRD pot in 2 years! And I use it once a week :)
