Good evening Little ones! How are  you this evening? I've been a little down in the dumps lately, if you want to know more about that then let me know :).
Any who, I've recently purchased a new iPad! It's about time I upgraded.
I loved my previous iPad, but I needed something that was capable to keep up with my University work ... So it was time to bring the iPad Pro into my life :).
If you enjoy Apple products, or just love first impression blog posts then give this a little read :).

First impressions:

First and foremost, the box was beautiful.
Apple packaging has always been well presented. I was too excited that I didn't even take a picture of the front! I was focused on the product inside ... I'm such a child, I know! All I can say, is that it was iconically white, and the show-stopper was situated in the middle of the box. Gold radiated from the centre, it was the main focus point, all eyes was on the picture of the iPad.
Fast forward ... To the unboxing! There in front of me was the iPad. It was protected with a plastic cloth, peeling that off the surface was fantastic. You know the feeling, when you buy a new phone, or piece of technology. There it was, in my hands. The iPad Pro 9.7 was right there. The pure metal back and the glass display was stunning. It looked opulent, which reflects the brand Apple. They are a well known company for producing high-end products. When I turned it over, as you can see in the images above, it screams enchantment. The gold in my opinion is classy and gorgeous. Normally I don't like gold but I love it on the iPad! It doesn't look tacky at all! It really suits it, Apple did a VERY good job in pulling this off. In addition to this, the Apple logo was sheer glass, but tainted with a sheen golden tone. It interlinks with the entire iPad, which I love. Because if you know me, I have OCD, and having everything that corresponds to one another makes me extremely content.
I then had to put the iPad to one side, of which I came face to face with the accessories. To which I would expect in the box to be perfectly honest. As you can see in the first image, there is the plug, and then the cable adaptor; in which you evidently need to charge this bad boy up.

Setting it up:

Fundamentally, because I had used an iPad in the past it was easy setting this baby up! And it'll be easy for you too if you have or haven't used Apple products before.
Apple make it super easy to understand, and to use. For example, it won't let you proceed until you know what to do, so it's impossible to make a mistake. The font is large enough for anyone to read; which is perfect for me because my short range is awful! I love that Apple advocates to my needs, as well as other people with sight difficulties.
After I had set up the basics, it was time to use my iPad. I thought it would be fair to test it out in an actual Marketing lecture! And I have to say it was amazing! The battery power is fantastic, lasted the full 3 hours, with constant note taking and full brightness, and even internet browsing. It was super fast and kept me up to date with what I was doing. So much easier than writing down notes physically.
I would highly recommend this product! I would say that the 12inch is way too big! But you never know, if you need a mini computer then why not? I love the sizing of this particular iPad. It's lightweight, easy to carry around, and is super powerful. Perfect for University work!

This is now the end of the blog post Little ones! I hope you liked this little read, something a little different I guess? Any who, I have missed you all so very much, and I will see you again tomorrow evening! As I'm working tomorrow morning and I finish at 5:30. I'll be back at University for 7 at the VERY latest! But I will have at least 1 blog post, if not then I will try for 2!
I love you so very much! Sweet dreams Little ones! Stay safe and stay tuned! :D x x x

Good afternoon Little ones! How have you been? I'm terribly sorry that I've been away, personal life has been hectic; but I'm back again! I'm going to be writing a few more blog posts today as I've missed you guys so much. In regards to this recipe it came to mind when I was super hungry; I needed a quick fix, I looked at what I had in the fridge and BOOM dinner was made. If you are a University student then this is music to your ears. I know how busy you lot are, I'm just here to help you out :).
If you like the sound of this then give it a little read! Plus you can do whatever you want with it, make it your own.

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams pasta (I ran out of fusilli so I had to use some spaghetti as well), doesn't really matter as long as it's pasta;
  • 3 tbs mayonnaise;
  • 1 chilli;
  • 15 grams mozzarella;
  • 1 chicken leg precooked.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Boil 500ml water and place into a medium or large pan, add the pasta and stir, cook for 10 minutes (I love my pasta al dente);
  2. when the pasta has cooked drain it and put pack into the pan;
  3. add the mayonnaise, chilli and chicken and stir until fully combined;
  4. put the pan back on the heat and finally add the cheese, stop stirring until the cheese is stringy;
  5. plate up and ... ENJOY! :D

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Chicken:
Chicken as we all know contains an mass amount of protein, this repairs your muscles and insures that they won't rip or pull. This is crucial in your diet if you do weight-training or any form of sports.

This is now the end of my blog post! But don't worry, I'm about to write another one! After I come back from town and finish off some Uni work. I would like to say another sorry for not posting as much recently; if you would like to know more about that, then please let me know in the comments section down below; or use my social media.
I hope you have all been ok! I love you all so very much! I will see you again today! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Story-time: Rounders ball knocked me out

Good Morning Little ones! How have you been today? I'm about to head to a lecture but I thought that I would give you a quick story-time at a time I was seriously injured in rounders. Now that I look back at this I find it funny; but it could of been serious. Have a good time reading this, I will see you again soon Little ones :).
If you want to read another story time click here!

BACKSTORY:

You are probably wondering what Btec Sport is, let me inform you, it's P.E (Physical Education) on steroids. People who enjoyed sports and wanted to take it seriously did this course .. And yes I did this on top of normal P.E as well. I was known as the person that would go on long runs for fun ... Yes I was one of those, and my P.E group hated me for it.
Anyhow, every term the sport changes, and this time it was going to be rounders, with PROPER rounders balls. In P.E we would use tennis balls "just encase someone got hurt". Those rules didn't apply in Btec Sport, you played the sport properly or you didn't at all ... They took it seriously in this course. In my perspective  I didn't care, I was actually quite excited, I wasn't the worst at rounders, I could hit the ball and I could run fast; which are the two main aspects in rounders. Was I intimidated that we had to use real rounders balls? No, because we knew how to play and how to play safely, plus I felt proud, simply because we were the only group that were allowed to do this. Bur that being said, you can't be stupid because there is no protective gear in rounders, so if that hits you, you are in serious trouble.
In regards to my class they were really cool, I was intimidated by some as they were really competitive, but all in all they had banter and they looked after one another.

WHAT HAPPENED?

It had been maybe 25 minutes into the lesson, we had been practising our fielding word, hand work and swinging technique, It was time for us to play. We were divided into two teams, the team with the most rounders wins.
How the game works is, you make the ball go as far as you can, within that time you have to run around 4 posts, if you run to the last post without anyone catching the ball, or running to get you out, you get one rounder. If the other team get you out you aren't allowed to play until the next game. Therefore the game will continue until you get EVERYONE out. But Btec sport don't mess around, you play properly or not at all, so if you are scared of the sport there is no point doing it; you have to man up.
It had been 10 minutes at least, there were three of us remaining on the batting team, I was one of them. It was my turn to bat again, I hit the ball, it wasn't my greatest shot but I managed to get to third base, I didn't score a full rounder, but I managed to get half a rounder because I had managed to get at least half-way. I was just chilling there.When the next batter hits the ball you can literally just walk to 4th base because it's so close; but you won't slow the other person down.
The other team member hits the ball, as I walk to 4th base I'm knocked out. The batter decided to change where she was going to aim the ball, but she forgot that I was walking in the same direction. That ball hit me at such a speed I was knocked out.
I remember waking up and spitting a mass amount of blood on the grass, I then started to panic because I couldn't feel my teeth, I looked up and the teacher and team was around me. I asked my teacher, "Are my teeth still there?", he just laughed and went yes Amy, but that should be the last thing to worry about right now. They helped me up and took me to the School nurse, which tried to clean my mouth and face. but she was heaving (she was scared of blood). She gave me a mass amount of tissues and said that she was going to call my Dad, of which I said, "I have an English test to go to, I can't miss it". I then run to my English lesson, still covered in blood from my sports kit. During the test my mouth was leaking blood all over the table, of which my English teacher, (which was my favourite teacher, and I was her favourite student) exclaimed, "Amy you can do this another time, get cleaned up". I just continued with my work, and left after the lesson was over. She then took me to the medical room again and called my parents herself.
I was taken home ... And the next day I came into School, and my lips looked like slugs, they were purple, bloody and blotchy. It has looked like I got lip-injections that went wrong. That stayed there for a month ... An entire month. And I still played rounders after that, I wasn't backing down.

AFTERMATH:

I still continued to play the sport, I was a little nervous but I wasn't backing down from something that I loved doing. My English test went brilliantly! Managed to get an A, despite the fact I was bleeding all over the table; and making my classmates cringe at the sight of me.
It's also made me a stronger person, because when I look back at it, I was so brave, I did that, I manged to get up and take an exam after that. It does change my outlook, because if I'm feeling down I just think about this time, I could do it then, I can do it now :).

This is now the end of the blog post, I hope you enjoyed this and take some inspiration from it. I look back at it now and it was funny, but also frightening at the same time, because what if that hit my head? It could have been a different story.
Anyhow, I love you all so very much! Please stay safe and stay tuned! I will see you again with another blog post soon :) x x x

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Good morning Little ones! How are you today? I thought that it was about time to write my first Q&A! I asked if you wanted me to do this and the majority of you did! You also sent in some questions which I love! I've also incorporated questions people have asked me over the years! I thought it would be lovely for you guys to know me, and what better way to do that than answer your questions :). So sit back and relax and read my responses.
  1. Favourite childhood memory :
    I would have to say when my Papa (Scottish phrase for Granddad) used to come down from Scotland and leave little goodies on mine and my sisters bed. the excitement that would go through me when I saw that meant Papa was here. The look on his face when he saw us was priceless, he would have his big old smile with his tweed jacket and matching hat ... Smelling of peppermint; damn I miss him so much, RIP Papa McGuire.
  2. Favourite colour:
    I have two favourite colours, does that count? I can't decide between the two! But I would have to say orange and baby blue.
  3. When is my birthday?
    The 24th February, I hate that it's such a cold month! Why cold why?!
  4. My bestfriend?
    My best-friend is Eisha, we met at Stanborough-Secondary School. Because her last name began with M, just like mine we were put together on the seating plan. She was so confident and cheery, and I was so awkward and weird ... But 8 years on and we are still going strong, love ya gurl.
  5. What is your middle name?
    Fun fact, I actually have two! One of which was going to be my first name but my mum hated it! Margaret and Rose is the answer. Can you guess which one my  mum hated, yeah pretty obvious :').
  6. Longest relationship?
    2 years ... and that was a complete mess.
  7. Where do I want to travel?
    ROME! My goal in life is to sit on a balcony in Rome with a bowl of pasta, plus company which would be my boyfriend Christopher. From the pictures I've seen of Rome it's stunning, the architecture is beautiful and the history behind it all is so endearing.
  8. Have you gone abroad?
    Yes I have. The first time was this year actually, I went to France with my boyfriend and his family. The sites were stunning, and meeting the other half of his family was simply wonderful.
  9. How many boyfriends have you had?
    Including the one I have now, 4.
  10. Worst dentist experience?
    As you may or may not already know I posted a blog post on my worst dentists experiences. I really hate the dentist, it makes me cry and cringe. But if I had to say worse, it would be when she drilled a hole in the WRONG tooth, that became infected, and then she had to take that tooth out. But  because it was infected and she didn't put me on antibiotics long enough; the local anaesthetic did NOTHING, and I felt EVERYTHING!
  11.  Do you believe in ghosts?
    I want to say no, but I do. I don't know if it's because of my anxiety but I sort of do.
  12. Scared of the dark?
    I'm terrified of the dark, and that's in my room and outside. If it's dark outside I will not walk alone, and if I have to I genrally run to that location. In regards to sleeping in the dark, I have to sleep with a nightlight ... I don't want the demons getting to me!
  13. Biggest fear?
    To be honest I have so many fears I can't pick just one, so I'll pick my three biggest. Heights, spiders and the dark. I hate all of the above ... Nothing should have eight legs!
  14. Dog or cat?
    I love both, but because I'm allergic to cats I would have to dogs! Plus I have always wanted a dog since I've never had one of my own as a pet.
  15. Curly or straight hair?
    On me, I prefer curly hair, simply because straight hair is really unflattering on me, plus I have really thick hair so it weighs down my roots. which gives the appearance of flat hair.
  16. Favourite clothing store?Topshop by far! Most of my clothing is Topshop, it's scary to think how much money I have spent there.
  17. Favourite make-up brand?It depends on the product, for example if I was to pick eyeliner it would be Loreal, whereas foundation would go to Chanel. Overall I would say Chanel, their packaging is beautiful and the product content is perfection.
  18. Dream car?Mercedes E-63 in black. I feel that it would make me look like a boss, don't judge :').
  19. Sleep with the sheets on or off?As weird as it sounds, it's always on, doesn't matter if it's boiling outside, I always need something to cover my body. I'm scared of something grabbing me in my sleep ... And the duvet is my protection.
  20. Favourite current song?
    Party by JP cooper, I love the beat and the sound of his voice, I constantly have this on repeat; I'm hoping I don't kill it.
  21. Where did you grow up?
    I'm originally from Welwyn Garden City, it's a small town filled to the brim with trees, you think I'm joking? Please look it up ;').
  22. What was your favourite subject back at School?I can't pick as there were 3 main ones. Which was: English, Arts and P.E. English was were I could write everything down, plus I had the best teacher ever, she was also my favourite teacher; she took no shit. In regards to Art I could express my inner thoughts, plus my teacher loved my work; she was a sweetheart. PE was just perfect, I loved sports and I have always loved sports, especially long distance running and badminton.
  23. Why did you start blogging?
    When I started this blog 1 year ago I was in a dark place, and I knew that writing my emotions down and turning it into advice would help people. But I had to stop back then as I didn't have the time. Nearly 4 months on and I'm constantly posting on here, I have never been happier :).
  24. Would you ever have children?
    I want to say yes, but at the moment no. It would be my biggest nightmare if I had children at this age. But maybe in the near future I could see a possible family.
  25. Do you ever want to get married?
    Hell yes! It's my dream to get married to my soulmate, and I honestly believe it's going to be Christopher :).
  26. Best bra?
    Best bra by far is from Victoria Secret! It's the plump push up one, and mine is in a beautiful purple shade. It doesn't make your boobs look stupid; but they give them a little lift, it's sexy.
  27. What are your other hobbies outside blogger?
    Sounds boring, but I love reading, drawing and going to the gym. In regards to fitness Yoga is a godsend! All the hobbies above are so relaxing and make me so happy. I don't do it everyday, as I'm either doing work, or I'm on my blog :).
  28. Weird hobbies?
    It's not weird, but it sounds disgusting, but I'm going to be real with you. I love popping my boyfriend's blackheads ... I know it sounds gross, but it's so satisfying :').
  29. Favourite food?
    I love Chinese food! Noodles is they key to my heart, with curry sauce and vegetables, oh yeah! :D
  30. Xbox, play-station or PC?
    Sorry to the people I'm about to offend ... But I'm a PC gamer, it's so much more acurate, plus nothing beats playing CSGO on my 34 inch curved monitor, #sorrynotsorry.
This is the end of the blog post, I hope that you enjoyed this, I know that I did! It bought back so many memories. Plus I want you guys to know me like my friends do, because I love you and I want to be your friend. I hope you have a lovely day! I  will see you again soon with a vegan recipe and a storytime :).
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Product review-OGX Shampoo and conditioner

OGX thick&full biotin&collagen shampoo and conditioner

DISCLAIMER: I have not been paid by OGX, I discovered them a few months back when I was in boots, they had a new range of shampoo and conditioner ... And just like everything else in Boots, I had to buy it. I just fell it love with it, and so did my boyfriend Christoper.

Good evening Little ones! It's lovely to get to see you all again, how have you been? I know it's only been a day, but a lot can change and happen within 24 hours. I'm currently at home with my family, laying in bed as I'm absolutely freezing; also waiting for my other half to come over and snuggle me. Any how, if you are on the hunt for new hair care products, or just enjoy reviews in general; then you will love this :)

PACKAGING:

Astronomically stunning. The colour is mixed between a royal blue and purple, it's so unique; but that's what's so striking about it. It also makes me feel extremely luxurious, which is heightened with the melted gold crown, and curly font. In regards to the typography, it's: bold, iridescent and damn right sexy! It interlinks with the lid, and you guys already know how I feel about that ... I absolutely love it; it really does show that the company cares about how their products are represented. On the other hand, the shape of the bottle is something that I have never seen before, other bottles are much thinner, or taller; this is short and plump ... Which I actually like, simply because it's easier to hold, and believe it or not, it actually holds more product in there. For example average shampoo and conditioner bottle holds 300ml, whereas OGX holds 385ml. Which is perfect, because you get more product for your money. If I had to really critique this, I would have to say that there is too much writing, they should add an illustration in the centre and have the main words as the focus point. But that being said, OGX's signature look is just the writing, which as mentioned previously looks beautiful in contrast to the plain background.

THE PRODUCT:

Fundamentally, in regards to the shampoo the consistency is BEAUTIFUL. It feels like velvet in your hair, so rich and creamy, and lava's so well when you add water. It really feels like it's taking away all the dirt and grease; and replacing it with a a clean, sweet smelling hair. In regards to the smell it's ever so sweet yet daring; it reminds me of Dove body cream, it's so luxurious yet questionably seductive, simply because there's a slight hint of musk. On the other hand, the conditioner has the same effect, but the consistency is different, evidently because instead of cleaning the hair, it nourishes it. It's so thick, which I adore because you know it's going to make your hair look amazing afterwards. I prefer thicker conditioners to watery one, as I find that the finer based ones don't do a good job, they just make your hair greasy; whereas this one actually looks after you hair. It glides in so effortlessly, and takes seconds to wash out. Again which I love! Who wants to stand in a shower for ages trying to get the remainders of conditioner out? Not me! I don't have time for that!
When you come out of the shower, and  your hair is towel dry, I kid you not you can brush your hair ... Like brush your hair and not pull half of it out because it's wet. And when it's dry it looks even better! The volume is fantastic! Because I have such thick hair it's hard to find something that adds volume to it! This baby does it perfectly. I love this product, it's one of my favourites :).

THE PRICE:

Let's just get into it! £6.99 for each, yes that would mean you would be spending £13.98 on shampoo and conditioner. but let's face it, most higher end shampoo and conditioner is the same price and even higher! I really take a lot of care into my hair; I would rather spend more on my hair KNOWING that it was getting looked after. I know that's just my opinion, and some will and won't agree with me; but it's how I feel. You can buy these from anywhere, but I would say Boots as they always have offers on them. For example RIGHT NOW! They retail for £4.66 instead of £6.99, so if you find the first price too much then I would say go and buy them right now, go on Little ones, treat yourself :).
If you are interested in these products have a little look at the link below:

This is now the end of the blog post, sorry Litte ones, but you will see me tomorrow with a vegan recipe! I haven't done one of those for a while. I will then be doing a day in the life of Amy soon, that's only if you are interested :).
I hope you all have a good night sleep! I love you all so very much, sweet dreams! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Advice-starting a blog

Starting a blog

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Good evening Little ones! I'm here again! How have you been? I've been doing some essays and hanging out with my boyfriend. I was also testing a product that I'm going to write a review tomorrow for you guys! Any how, this topic was pondering my mind, so I thought I would sit down and keep it real with you :).
If you are interested in starting a blog then do it! Ignore the haters and do you Little ones! If you have a passion about writing then go and do it; be happy :).
If you are just starting out then give this blog a little read, it might help :).

If you want to read other advice blog posts, click here!

Planning:

First and foremost, if you are starting a blog you need to plan a hell of a lot! You also need to dedicate your time into a blog, posting every month of every year won't do it; you need to be honest give your target audience what they want.
In regards to planing you need to do the following:
  • What are you going to name it?
    When you start a blog you need to name it after something that relates to your writing, or something that you want people to remember you by. So when they read the title they will associate it with you. When I was starting out, I wanted my title to be my name, Miss Rose McGuire. I picked rose from one of my middle names as I liked it more than my first name. Also because I like roses, so interlinking flowers with my blog was a win win situation.
  • What are you going to write about?
    Just like every other blog you need a topic to write about, it can vary from one specific topic, or numerous ones. For example, my blog obtains various sectors which include: vegan and non-vegan recipes, reviews, advice and daily life. You don't have to do this though, if you just wanted a blog solely based on food then do be it. Do you Little ones!
  •   Target audience:Who is your target audience? What will your content attract? You have to think and analyse the situation. Simply because if you want your demographic to be the younger generation (10-15), writing about dated trends, or 'how to write a report' isn't going to grab their attention. It would work for people heading to University but not the kids. Research what the younger generation like, get their opinions; that way if you are giving them content that they have an interest in then they will read what you have to say. In my perspective, my target audience is VERY broad, simply because my blog obtains so many categories anyone would enjoy it.
  • How often are you going to post?
    Get this into your mind QUICKLY! If you are going to put SOME effort into a blog post then forget the entire idea, simply because if you are gaining an audience and you completely disappear for months on end ... All the hard work you did to achieve your following is gone. But, if you have a dedicated time schedule. for example, writing a blog post once a week then stick to it. As your crowd will have something to look forward to :).
  •  What is it going to look like?
    Profoundly, when I look for blogs I look for quality content, and yes that does involve in what it looks like as well. In my opinion a professional blog has to: have the same font, no spelling mistakes, colour scheme matches, great photographs, typography. Everything you produce has to look presentable. When it comes to posting my blog post I ALWAYS make sure that my grammar and spelling is on fleek, that my images are in line and that my font is the same size accordingly to where it's located on the blog post. What I'm trying to say is that, if you saw something scruffy, would you even want to read it? As you would assume, 'if they can't be bothered to present this correctly, then is their writing incomplete too?
  • Monetising: yay or nay?
    When it comes to posting quality content sometimes you want to turn that hobby into a job. That's how I felt and still feel that way. I treat my blog as another job, evidently because I am constantly updating and writing new blog posts for My Little ones. Good evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've been doing University work, damn I've just finished it all! I've now just found the time to sit down and write this blog post:).
I still can't believe how fast this day has gone! A lot of work and power naps with my boyfriend, nothing better than that. Any how, I made this concoction yesterday and I loved it! I also made it again because Chris wanted to try it, and just as I thought he loved it also :).
If you want to find out how to make this then have a little gander down below.

Fundamentally when you make this you can make your own sour cream and chive sauce, or you can buy it from the shops. I have tried both methods, both just as great; but if you are in a rush or don't really care then just buy the sauces from the shop :).

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs (or as many your stomach is telling you to eat);
  • butter or cream (optional);
  • sour cream and chive dip;
  • spicy sauce (if you fancy some heat);
  • 10 grams cheese.

STEPS ON  HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Take a medium pan and put some butter in there, let it melt slowly on a low medium heat;
  2. crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk, add salt and pepper and mix until combined;
  3. when the butter is melted put the eggs into the pan and stir, turn the heat up to gas mark 4; keep stirring as you don't want the eggs sticking to the bottom;
  4. when the eggs start forming bash them with a wooden spoon, as you want them to be separate and not a clump;
  5. when the eggs are cooked to your perfection add the sour cream and chive sauce, stir until combined;
  6. (optional) add in the chilli sauce with the sour cream sauce for some additional heat;
  7. place your scrambled eggs into a bowl. put some bread in the toaster and ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Eggs:
Eggs are a very good source of inexpensive, high quality protein. More than half the protein of an egg is found in the egg white along with vitamin B2 and lower amounts of fat and cholesterol than the yolk.

This is now the end of the blog post Little ones! I hope you enjoyed this non-vegan recipe. It's quick and easy to make, and handy if you are constantly on the go. If you are an egg fan then you are in luck today! Why not try something new for  your breakfast tomorrow? :).
