Good evening Little Ones! I already posted this, but I ended up deleting it as I wasn't happy with the initial outcome, so here's another blog post! I hope you enjoy the read, I will be writing a separate blog post on my mental health story; so stay tuned for that!
To ensure you are keeping up to date with my daily blog posts, click here to read more! Without any further or do, let's roll on the life update!

NEW JOB:

These past few months have been magical yet traumatic, I've been blessed with several learning experiences, and it's moulded me into a better individual. Tuesday 16th January 2018, I was offered the job of my dreams, I remember applying and instantly thinking that I was going to receive an automated email stating that they wouldn't take my application any further.
However, fortunately enough for me, that didn't happen, a few days past, and they emailed me scheduling a phone interview, I was buzzing with excitement, praying that they would put me through to the next round.
The day of the phone interview whirled around, and we clicked immediately, I was talking to this woman like I'd known her for years, near the end of the conversation she stated that she couldn't wait to meet me ... Insinuating that I had passed the telephone interview. Shortly after the call, I received an email informing me when and where the face-to-face interview will take place. I was over the moon, anxiety and fulfilment were the only two emotions that clutched me for weeks.
Thursday 4th January, at 3:00pm ... It was time to shine, it was a typical interview, we were chatting, laughing, generally getting along, I had a really good feeling tingling inside of me. We were there for only what seemed to be 5 minutes, but that wasn't the case. We were sitting in a quiet corning for over 30 minutes ... It was fantastic, before we closed the conversation; she exclaimed that she was going to email me dates for the third and final interview with her boss. I contained my excitement and maintained my professionalism, (even if my brain had turned into ultimate fan-girl).
It was a while before I heard anything, I started to doubt myself ... Intense thoughts consumed me, 'did I do something wrong?', 'what if they've found someone better?', am I not good enough?'
The morning of the 16th January 2018, I heard my work phone buzzing down the walls, my immediate reaction was to run as fast as I could, dreading that the person on the other side would hang up. I answered, and it was the lovely lady that had interviewed me, the conversation in a nutshell was, that she felt so confident with the other interview, they thought it was best that they just offer me the roll; with no further interview.
The amount of thank you’s that followed must have irritated her ... But I didn't care, I had worked my ass off to get that job, I'm still so thankful to this day. I start Wednesday 7th February 2018 ... And I couldn't be happier.
In the next segment, I'm going to be using FAKE names, to keep the individual’s identity private.

WHY I QUIT MY OLD JOB:

What lead me to applying for a new job in the first place? That's the depressing truth ... I'm not going to mention the company, or names, as they deserve to stay hidden.
First and foremost, I had worked at a former phone company in my hometown, I'd grown detached, my team had abandoned the store, what I fell in love with originally wasn't there. So, I decided to pack my bags and flee the nest.
Evidently, I was on the hunt for a new job, hours on end online, and I applied for a supervisor role at my local camping store, a few days past and I was shopping in town, I saw the same advert in the store I'd applied to several days ago, since I already had my CV on hand, I decided to personally hand it into the store. You could say that's silly, but I was determined to obtain a new job, moments later I received an email from the store manager, asking when I was available for an interview, I replied with said dates and times, and we went from there.
Time swooshes past, and it was time for my interview, the first stage was simple, put together a ski-outfit for a family that has never been, in this exercise I bonded with the manager; she was extremely cool and easy to talk to, eventually it was time for the second part of the interview, where the deputy manager Simon stepped in.
First impressions, kind and again easy to connect with, he asked the questions and I simply answered them. Like my previous interview, I was calm, collected and had a good feeling, after the interview he went downstairs to talk to Tracy, he was gone for a good 20 minutes; I started to get nervous as I had no idea what was taking place. Eventually, he reappeared and sat down opposite me, he said, "unfortunately, we aren't going to offer you the trial shift, instead would you like the job?" From wanting to cry with utter devastation, to abundantly thrilled ... My answer was "yes", obviously I needed a new job, why would I say no?

But if only I knew then, what I knew now... Autumn was coming to a close, hello winter weather! October was finally here, and it was time for me to crack down with my new job, I had met the team and I loved them, we seemed to get on really well. After a week of settling down, Simon asked me if I wanted to walk to work with him, he already lived in my area, and my home was on the way to work; so, I agreed.
We arrived at work and set up the store as usual, it was a slow start, and since I was the new person, Simon still wanted to get to know me, and vice versa. His questions remained simple, 'what do you do in your spare time?', 'where have you worked?', 'what has been your favourite job?
It was pretty basic, but I was playing along, half-way through the day, I decided to check the area emails, this consists of what other stores have sold, any updates etc. I started to feel uneasy, Simon was situated behind me, but he didn't say anything; I could just hear him breathing. He proceeded to move beside me, where all the daily paperwork was, but as he moved he decided to briefly place his hands on my hips. I flinched, and automatically walked away, his mannerism shifted, his questions took a dive into the inappropriate pool, "If you could have sex with someone in this store, who would it be?" ... I didn't know how to react, laugh in his face, or call him an asshole? I couldn't take him seriously, so I sarcastically, said, "Tracy, she's a laugh". You would think I murdered his entire family with the look he gave me, Simon responded, "why not me?" This made me exceeding uncomfortable, to which I said, "seriously, I'm engaged".
I was praying that Sarah (another member of staff), would hurry along and start her shift, it was like she could hear me, because guess who walked through the door.
Unfortunately, this agonising behaviour lasted until the breaking point, where he thought it was acceptable to massage me behind the till, I was done. I waited until I could talk to Tracy alone, I broke down into a puddle of tears, her reaction was to call my area manager and have him take up the investigation.
Eventually Simon was sacked and I thought I was safe from all the unwanted drama.

What's that sound? "Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way", Christmas had arrived! My favourite time of the year, I had been doing full-time work, on top of university, as we were still trying to find someone to replace Simon.
One evening, I was doing my usual job of cashing up, Chris was waiting outside, but he was getting over the flu, I decided to let him inside, as one I'd seen Tracy let people in the store while cashing up, and I didn't want him to get any worse. Sound logical right?
Being clumsy I dropped 5p, it rolled into the world of no returns, my immediate reaction was to take 5p out of my purse; but before I could Chris had already offered.
HE WAS NO WHERE NEAR THE TILL ... Just to make this clear, and Sarah was also on the shop floor and could see EVERYTHING.
I cashed in all the money, and ensured that I had £100 till float, and £50 safe float ... Everything was perfect, Sarah even signed and declared that everything was there.
A few days past and it was time for work, I said "Hello" to Tracy, but she didn't respond, I assumed that she was having a stressful day, I put my bag away and casually walked down the stairs ... Before I opened the shop floor door, Tracy was standing there, "can I have a word privately please" ... Obviously I said yes and we walked into the staff room.
Tracy proceeded to ask me several questions the night I was cashing up, when she finished I asked her, "what is this all about, do you think I've stolen something?"
She said, "not me personally, but another member of staffed was concerned" ... I automatically thought of Sarah, as she was the last person I worked with.
I was utterly disgusted, and stated, "If I had, why did she sign and declare that everything was 100% right, and why did you count and declare that it was correct the next morning?"
Tracy was speechless, she even said that there was NO EVIDENCE on CCTV of me taking anything, but they still deiced to run the investigation. Why you may ask? Simply because Sarah was extremely jealous that I was coming for her job, which I didn't want in the first place, due to the fact that my anxiety and depression was at an all time high.  I was trying to squeeze 35 hours a week at work, as well as attending University; (I had to miss several sessions because Tracy needed me to work).
On the SAME DAY OF THE ACCUSATION, Tracy let me GO TO THE BANK with the money, as well as CASH UP ... If I had stolen anything, why did you not contact the police, and why would you let me handle money?
A few days pass, and I couldn't take it anymore, she branded me a thief, even though there was no sufficient evidence! I decided that I didn't want to work in a place where they wrongly accused me of stealing, before I left THE ALLEGATION WAS DROPPED, I WAS PROVED INNOCENT, DUE TO EVERYTHING BEING CORRECT.
But Amy,  why would you still leave? Why would I work for a company that wrongly accuses innocent members of staff stealing?
I had 3 weeks off ... It gave me time to think if I wanted to head into retail again, as well as repairing my mental health. That was my number one priority, thankfully I made the right decision, I don't regret leaving in the slightest, I wish I'd done it sooner.

UNIVERSITY:

Firstly, I've just completed my first semester of my second year with flying colours, I've been predicted a first, and it feels fantastic.
My work ethic has only improved, and I can't wait to dive into my exam in a couple of days, as well as my new units! If you aren't aware I study marketing, and I couldn't be happier.
On the other hand, socially it's not great, I don't have many dedicated friends, and the people I can call friends are in third year, and study computer science ... Which I know nothing about.
But, I'm working on it, I need to improve my self-confidence, and accept that not everyone is out there to get me.

MENTAL HEALTH:

Anxiety and depression still stalk me, just chilling on my shoulder ... Could you go away please? You weren't invited to the party.
Who to start with first? Anxiety! Kindly, you aren't as bad as you used to be, my panic attacks rarely arise, only when I'm extremely nervous and anxious ... But I know the signs, and I try to deal with it as best as I can. I still need to tackle social scenarios, I completely avoid them at all costs, just thinking about it gives me sweaty palms. But I'm so much better with public transport, more specifically the London underground! I still need to work on irrational fears, such as not being able to walk down the street, (regardless if it's day or night), with headphones in, I'm scared that someone is following me. I swear I'm not crazy ...
Well hello there depression ... Still there, still likes to taunt me, and laugh when I feel numb, but I'm getting better living with it, I wouldn't say that it's improving, like I mentioned previously, I'm just getting better with living with it, since I've suffered this unwanted visitor for so many years! But don't fear, I'm getting a new private therapist, talking to people really does help; and I don't want to pester anyone in my personal life.

Anyhow, this is the end of this blog post! This is a re-post as this dumb ass managed to delete while trying to make improvements ... I know, I'm silly!
I hope you enjoyed this read, it was quite hard for me to write, but I want you to know me on a personal level, so here I am, writing away.
I hope you relish the rest of your day, and I will see you again tomorrow with another blog post! I have no idea what it's going to be, but I will prepare something non the less.
I love you all so very much, remember to stay safe and stay tuned :) x x x

ADVICE-REVISING FOR EXAMS

ACING THAT EXAM-KILLER REVISION TIPS:

Snapchat: amymrmcguire
Email: missamymcguire@hotmail.com
YOUTUBE: MissRoseMcGuire

Good afternoon Little Ones! As promised here's a guide on how to revise for your exams, some of you may have mock exams coming up, or maybe you want to prepare for your exams years in advance, whatever the case this is the blog post for you!
This is going to be a heck of a read, but if you want to ace your exams, you will do whatever it takes; even if that means taking 10 minutes out of your day to read this.
To ensure you are keeping up to date with my daily blog posts, click here to read more! Without any further or do, let's roll on the revision tips! (Don't frown)

Before we get started, let's get something straight, this is a guide to help you, if you don't follow through with determination you won't pass your exams. Smell that? Burgers ... Hello McDonald's, is that where you want to be? No? Then focus.
I understand that everyone learns differently, luckily enough you came to the right place, I'm going to portray several different revision strategies; so if you don't feel like one is working out, you can try another.
When I'm revising I use all of these strategies, as my attention span is disgusting, plus, it makes it more exciting, and yes you can interject the word exciting with revising; believe it or not it can be fun.

MOTIVATION:

Amy what does motivation have to do with revision? Let me think ... Everything, this is the definite factor that will either get you a C or an A, I've been there and done that, and here's a real life example. When I started my GCSE's I didn't have the pure motivation, which resulted in average grades,
I saw that on paper in year 10 and was utterly disgusted, I used that to punch my way through year 11; every single day after school I revised for several hours, alternating subjects.
Guess what, it damn well payed off, landed myself with several A*'s and A's ... My only C was maths, which was my toughest subject.
But I didn't stop there, I had a reputation to uphold, in A-Level, despite my mental health swallowing me up to the point where I nearly committed suicide.
I grafted and  walked out with two A's and a B, again I'm repeating the attitude at University, constantly getting A's ... That grade doesn't appear out of thin air, you HAVE to put the work in, regardless of how you feel.
If you don't want to, then kiss your education goodbye, and land a basic job.
But I know you can do this, if I can do it, you can do it! When I was at my all time low, I didn't think I was capable of picking up a pen, let alone sit an exam ... It took my head of year, several counselling sessions to put me back on track. You can do this, if you are sitting there thinking you can't ... You can, I believe in you Little One.

DON'T LEAVE IT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE:

If you've been landed with an exam in 6 months time, don't wait a few days before the exam to start studying, by that time it's too late. You'll put too much pressure on yourself, in which you will forget the relevant information you need to know. If you feel you can perform under pressure then be my guest, I wouldn't risk it for that chocolate biscuit.
Space your time wisely, revise for an hour every day up until your exam, that way you can lock the facts away, until it's time to show that piece of paper what you are made of.
Additionally, take your time, slow and steady in this circumstance wins the race, learn at a pace where you are most comfortable, there is no point skimming through a page and getting agitated with yourself because it's not sticking; and if you can't get through all the content, save it for another revision session.

REVISING TIP ONE | COLOUR COORDINATION:

Firstly, I've been using this technique since I started my GCSE's, and due to my grades, I think it's paid off pretty well, before you judge try it out for yourself.
What this consists of, is finding any colour of your choice, and delegating that specific colour to a topic, for example, I have to learn three main areas in digital marketing communications, orange is traditional media, green is new media, and blue is relevant theories.
Once you have the basics nailed down, and it comes to writing about said topic, you will start to remember which colour corresponds to each topic, so you can pick up the colour of the pen, and remember what you were writing.
On the other hand, it's also a great way to organise your notes, as portrayed in the images above having dedicated coloured sections for a specific topic is so helpful, when you look back at your revision notes, it'll be easier to differentiate between other information. Whereas, if it was all the same colour, you will waste time scanning through a page. With revision, it's all about making it easier, there it no point becoming stressful when preparing for exams, give yourself a break and relax.

POST-IT-NOTES:

If you live by yourself perfect, if not then this will irritate your family members or partner, Chris has become increasingly agitated with post-it-notes all over the apartment; but I do whatever it takes to ensure that the information stays put.
Place these notes where you commonly go, for instance, I have one placed where I take my makeup off, meaning when I head off to bed, I can remember that specific fact. If you place these helpful guides everywhere, you are constantly being reminded of what you need to know. So much easier than sticking your head in a book for hours on end.
Additionally, when making these post-it-notes, make sure they are brief, simply because it's easier to remember as there's not much to digest, but you have to make sure that it covers all the relevant content. Also, as you can see in the images above, if you find it hard to remember information with words, draw simple illustrations that link with the point; just a little tip.

REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT:

Right, this isn't fun, if anything it's really boring ... But it does work. This moved me from a G to a C in maths. It consists of writing the relevant information, and repeating it over and over again until it's turned into cement in your mind. I usually do this tactic, and then write it town in colour coordination, and then finally note it down on a post-it-note. That way, it's staying in my mind, and I can remind myself when need be.
It's time consuming, but if I was going to recommend any revision tips, this would be the section to take away with you.

ORGANISE YOUR TIME:

Everyone assumes that you have to spend hours and hours on end, and never have a life ... That's not the case at all! If you've given yourself time in advance for the exam, you are laughing. Get yourself a dairy, and delegate specific time zones where and when you revise, you can organise your personal life, hobbies and work.
It doesn't need to be as stressful as some people make it, just simply organise your time effectively, I come across as a nagging mum on steroids, but it's because I care! I'm trying to make your revision sessions easier, and not like the world is ending.

GET SOMEONE TO TEST YOU:

How are you meant to know if the information is staying if you don't get someone to test you? Remember you have learnt this information in a very specific way, get your family member, or whoever you have around you, to test you in a different format. That way you are remembering the information and not the way you have written it.
At the end of the test, you will know your strengths and weaknesses, which mean if there is something you are struggling with, you revise it, until it becomes your strength.
I find this tip extremely helpful, besides it's a break from writing and being quiet, at least you get a form of human interaction.

Now Little Ones! Time for me to head off and prepare for my video! I hope you didn't find this too nag worthy, but I'm doing it because I want you to pass your exams! Oh! And I haven't forgot my marketing clan, I know some of you have been asking for a marketing revision blog post; that is coming don't worry!
I love you all so very much, I will see you tomorrow with something special! Remember to stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Good morning! As promised here's another blog post! Prewarning, if you don't enjoy long winded chatty posts, you probably won't like this one; simply because as you can tell by the title, it's a life update. Anyway, how have you all been? I know it's only been a day, but I care about you! After I've written this I'm heading to John Lewis to purchase a new bag! Believe me I'm in need of a new one. I may even do a review, (depending if I find something I like). Wow, I'm rambling again, ever so sorry! Let's get back to the post! I have no idea how I'm going to write this, it may be in an array of questions; but why not go with the flow.

Where to start? Let's roll the dice ... Engaged life? How is it? Sounds silly, but exactly the same as being with someone, but I guess it's nice having a gorgeous ring. I'm kidding, my sarcasm sounds realistic (my fiance is always telling me off).  I love being engaged, in my opinion it refreshes the relationship, it feels new again, not like the past 2 years have been awful; they've been the best years in my life. I must say, having a ring on my finger is exquisite, it makes me feel special, as well as proud, it's a sign that I belong to someone; and evidently that's the case. On the other hand, it's daunting, it's a huge commitment (obviously), I said yes because I knew that I wanted to be with Christopher for the rest of my life, I didn't say it just for the sake of it. People constantly ask me if I regret not being free for a longer period of time. But the party life, or single life doesn't appeal to me personally. I've always relished being in a relationship; but that's my personal opinion, whereas someone else may love the single life. There's not much to say about it really, my relationship is as strong as ever, we get on really well; he's my best friend and I couldn't be any happier to be perfectly honest.
Let's see what else there is to talk about? Well I did finish my first year of University with a FIRST! Yes a FIRST! I'm so extremely happy! But obviously I need to keep this up for 2 years, which I will! I believe that I'm going to write a blog post on my first year as a whole, because so much went on ... But I'm also planning on writing how to prepare for first year, (as I've experienced it), because it's important; and some people may not be mentally or physically prepared. In regards to University I'm heading into my second year, and I'm totally excited! I get to pick what I want to specialise in Marketing, and I couldn't be more thrilled! In terms of where I'm going to be living ... It's stressful yet exhilarating, we know what town we want to move into, and we've booked viewings for the properties, it's just the case of going through all the paperwork, moving into the place and making it look beautiful, (which Chris has left me in charge of). Which I really do appreciate, no offence to him, but his interior design isn't the best.
Last but not least, I've bagged myself a new job! Still in the phone industry, but so much happier! Not as stressful as my last job, and my new team is wonderful, the funniest group of people I have ever met! Although one of them is leaving to go back to University, but she's coming back in December; so I'm really excited! Plus I'm in charge of proof reading her work, so she can't leave me just yet.

Other than that, everything that needed to be said has been said! A lot has gone on in a short space of time, but I'm content that it's fallen into place! I was getting extremely depressed that I couldn't write my blog posts; but I'm back and so thrilled! Anyhow I better shoot off, time to shop for some bags, I hope it doesn't take too long, but then again I'm so fussy! I will either see you later on today with a review of a new shampoo I've been loving, or tomorrow! Either way I will be back!
I love you all so very much! I will see you soon Little Ones! Stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Where have I been?

What am I doing?

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Hello Little Ones! How have you all been? I know some of you have been wondering where I've scurried off to, but don't worry, I'm here to return! Turns out having a YouTube Chanel, a blog, a part-time job and University commitments is harder than it looks. But I am back and better than ever! I just want to say sorry, and give you an ENTIRE explanation, because that's what you deserve! My follow readers AKA My Little Ones mean absolutely everything to me.
If you want to find out more about my explanation, then carry on reading down below :).

What's happened?

Where should I start? I think University is the perfect pin-point, simply because it's taking up the majority of my time. Within my first year my time-table changes every four to six weeks, annoying but that's the way it is, thankfully it WON'T be like this when I start my second year in October. Anyhow, before my time-table changes a portfolio is due in which is worth a high percentage of my course, and evidently like most students I want the best possible grade, and that doesn't come by looking at my computer screen doing nothing. To obtain the grades I've been getting I've had to put a lot of hard work, determination and hiding away. I've hated staying hidden for so long, but I knew that if I continued writing my blog, my grades would lack, and I would feel disgusting for letting them slip. I always want to create quality content for you Little Ones, I don't see a point in putting 90% into one topic, and 10% in the other. That's never been my work ethic and NEVER will be. Would I have done this differently? Yes, 100%, I wish that I wrote a blog post beforehand, but what's happened has happened and I can't change it unfortunately. But I will take this as a learning curve. On the other hand, I have also learnt that taking away what I love ... Which is my blog; away from me, makes me very unhappy. I've been utterly miserable the past few months .. And that's because I haven't had time to escape into the world I love.
Currently writing this with a massive smile on my face, as I finally get to do what I love ... And that's writing and helping you lovely people.
But University wasn't the only aspect that was setting me back, I have a part-time job, which I adore ... But sometimes things happen that you don't want to. Unfortunately my boss is leaving, and the stress of trying to replace him as been diabolical. I have a fear that we are going to shut down, simply because it's happened to me twice already ... I think that's a logical fear to think about? Due to this indecent I've been trying to search for a new job; just encase; I don't think anything is wrong in that. I've had interview after interview, and I just don't seem to be getting any luck. I've recently applied to a place that I have always wanted to work, and let's hope I hear back from them ... It would take away some of the pressure. It's simply been the amount of pressure placed on me ... I've found myself in a dark place, and that's not where I want to be. I want to provide positive attitudes so it influences you all to do better. Not the other way round, that's NOT what I'm about.
Finally, last but not least, I've been planning and helping out with the INSOMNIA i60 event! I'm on the orange team, aka logistics team. It primarily means that we are the operations, we put the products in place, help organise where everything is meant to be etc. Behind the scenes I've been having to reply to emails, sorting out paperwork, and organising myself, getting the items I need to go to the event in Birmingham. All in all today is my last shift which is 8:30pm to 5:30am ... I know a night shift, but all the hard work has paid off! And don't you worry I've been vlogging the entire experience! When I get back home I will be editing and uploading.

There you have it, again I am awfully sorry that I haven't been around, but I have finished University and I don't start again until October, that gives us a total of 6 months! And I am going to be organising my time different so I don't ever do this again. I will be going back to daily blog posts from now on, and that's an absolute promise!
If you keep up to date I will be releasing some little adventures I've had over the past few weeks!
See you Little Ones tomorrow!
I love you all so much, stay safe and stay tuned! :D x x x

  2. Prepare your vegetables: cut the pepper into fine strips, and the squash into little squares; this way it cooks faster.
  3. Put oil into a pan and place the vegetables in there, wait until they are soft and then add the chicken;
  4. after 3 minutes add the egg noodles and homemade plum sauce until steaming hot;
  5. Plate up and enjoy! :D

Why these ingredients?

Red pepper:
Red bell peppers contain several phytochemicals and carotenoids, particularly beta-carotene, which lavish you with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. This strengths your immune system and helps fight infection due to the phytochemicals.

Chicken:

Chicken:
Chicken as we all know contains an mass amount of protein, this repairs your muscles and insures that they won't rip or pull. This is crucial in your diet if you do weight-training or any form of sports.

Good evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've been planning essays, buying the last Christmas presents and chilling with my friends. As you can tell by the title I also had quite the feast, rather delicious I must say! Less about me, what did you do today? Please let me know I love talking to you:).
Anyhow, if you want to see what we created then have a little look down below and enjoy, might give you some inspiration, (of just make you very hungry).

There is going to be no structure for this blog post, hope you don't mind! This wasn't even meant to happen. There was a discussion between my boyfriend and our friend Levi that I've never had egg soldiers, (I have now); but they were ever so shocked. So we marched over to Marks and Spencer's just for eggs, but by the time we got to the till we had more than what we bargained for. We left with: bacon, sausages, bread, numerous spices, beans and mushrooms. I knew then that this wasn't going to be any lunch; it was going to be a feast, especially when Levi is in town.
We arrived in mine and Chris's apartment and our stomachs took over. Our kitchen turned into a full work station. It was like a cooking programme broke into our home! We were speedy and efficient. We put everything to practice and created a beautiful and tasty meal. As you can see there is a large amount of food, in which no one finished. It was a great laugh, a few friends nattering away, letting the day pass by.
I love being adventurous with food, as well as spontaneous plans, I never expected this, but knowing Levi, you have to expect the non-expected, (it's a good thing).
On the other hand, it was the first time that I had tried venison sausages, and at first I liked them, but taking several bites the flavour became too intense; but I'm not a massive meat eater in the first place, when I'm not being vegan I'm a chicken girl through and through.
Some people may not agree with my choice of eating, vegan some days and not, but it's the way I want to live now, there are days where I do intense gym training, and I need meat; tofu doesn't help me as much. But you will see some vegan recipes soon Little ones, so don't you worry!
I'm currently writing this, a little intoxicated since I've been drinking with my friends, but non the less I'm happy and healthy. Plus I'm cooking some good and healthy food, which will also be on the blog shortly! I'm sorry for rambling, but I love reading blog posts that are personal, I hope this has the same affect?
Oh something else I'd like to mention, is that I'm going to start vlogging this month! It will be just after Christmas! It will be on my YouTube channel, won't be anything speical, it'll be like my blogs, but in a video form. If any of you have any suggestions on what you want to see me do, then I'll do it; I don't mind I just want to make you happy, you are my Little ones, and I appreciate you do much; and that's NOT the drunk me talking.
Anyhow, I better rap this up, I've been trying to finish this for a while, but gaming came into play and I couldn't stop, so here I am now writing this at 10:30.
I love you all so very much! May not be the best content I've produced but it can't be the worst! I love you all so very much, I will see you soon with another blog post! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Good Morning Little ones (nearly the afternoon), just managed to get writing this, but I got my results back yesterday from my first exam; and I am more than happy with them! But this got me thinking, the only reason I manged to get such a high grade; was because I planned strategically hard. If you do Marketing, or if you struggle writing essays, then give this little blog post a read. I'm also going to interject some examples that the exam gave me.
Have a great day Little ones, I will also see you later on today as well! Can't wait!

Analyse the question:

If you are anything like me, looking at the question time and time again can get rather frustrating. Appose to staring at it and hoping that it’ll give you the answers, take out the key words and put in your own words what it’s asking you to do. This way it’ll be easier to understand, and you won’t want to pull your hair. In my perspective, my exam asked me to, “Is there a fine line between persuading and manipulating customers into buying products/services. And does cooperate propaganda still exist?”.
First impressions were this is all over the place, immediately I thought that it would be best to find the definitions to manipulating and persuading. With this information, I was able to find techniques to both phrases, which I knew would help when analysing one of my points. I then thought that it would be best to find two companies that persuaded customers and one which manipulated them; this way I was able to differentiate between the wrong and right way to promote products to future consumers. On the other hand, the second aspect of the question was about propaganda, in my situation I found out the definition and applied the companies I had already researched, being Apple and Superdrug, and applied it to their advertising strategies.

Apply the correct essay structure:

Fundamentally, having the correct essay structure is the foundation to a perfect essay. If you know what you are going to write about, and how to do it, it’ll be a walk in the park for you. Whereas if you struggle then this is the construction I would follow:

Point-have a strong and engaging point. This shows that you know what you are talking about from the beginning and will give you extra marks because of this. Keep it brief and to the point, I’ve made mistakes from this in the past; but I have learnt from those.
In my exam, my first point was, “fundamentally, a company that successfully persuades their customers would be Apple. They give clear descriptions of the product offering, no hidden costs, and they are specific”. This gives a brief description about the company and how they work, as well as putting your own opinion across to the examiner.

Evidence- to make your point strong, you need to have factual evidence to support your point, or the examiner could think that you made this up. In my situation, I referenced the Apple advert for the iPhone 7 release. ALWAYS use evidence, whether it’s from moving image or print, always use it.

Analyses- this is the most CRUCIAL part to the essay! This is what shows that you understand the question. When analysing you need to put forward your argument, you need to answer the questions, why they did it that way and how. If you constantly have the why and how in your mind; and you can answer that, that’ll give you high marks … 100% guaranteed.
An example of my piece of work is as followed:

“Portrays and states “25% brighter retina display, longest iPhone battery ever”. This is a proper way of persuasion because they are not lying to their customers, otherwise it would be manipulation. By keeping it brief they are not boring their consumers, they are keeping their attention; which increases Apple’s chance of persuading their customers to buy the iPhone 7”.

Reference- I can’t stress this enough! YOU NEED TO REFERENCE! You will lose marks! If you can’t state where you got the information from then you are in trouble! Also, when you are referencing, you have to do it in the Harvard style. For example, when it came to refencing the Apple advert I presented it like this: Apple, 16-09-2016, Apple-iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in 107 seconds, video, online ULR-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geoveidgym4. Lat moderated 7-09-16.

Link-ALWAYS link back to the question. It always rounds up your original point and makes it neat and tidy. That way that point is officially closed and you can move on to your next point.

In contrast to this, the essay structure should look like this:
Introduction: define the keywords, input what you are going to be doing in this essay and apply any context information about the companies (if needed).
Point one: make your point, back it up using PEARL and repeat.
Point two: make your point, back it up using PEARL and repeat.
Point three: make your point, back it up using PEARL and repeat.
Conclusion: conclude what you have done, and say what you final opinion is and relate to certain points of the essay, and then link back to the question as a final round up.

Depending on how many words and how much time you need is dependent on how many points you can come up with. I managed to write 3 key points in the space of an hour with a clear introduction and conclusion.

Thank you for reading this blog post Little ones! It’s a shame that it’s now over, but I will be back later! I’ll be writing a blog post in the middle of LAN (gaming society that I help run at University). But I have missed you all so very much! See you VERY soon!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :D  x x x

Good Morning Little ones! It's been a rather terrifying week, first with my kidney infection and now this event. I've been trying to relax for a few days, but I just needed to write about this. My life flashed before my eyes, literally still shocked. You may or may not already know that I was submitted to hospital yesterday, due to me falling over and landing on a shard of glass.
If you would like to know more about this then have a little read down below.
I'm also going to be interjecting pictures, so quick disclaimer: if you can't handle blood then don't look at the pictures below the blog post.
I hope you are all happy and healthy, love you all so very much :).

What happened:

Profoundly, I had just finished my morning Marketing lecture, I was given a 1 hour lunch break, which was enough time for me to make and eat lunch. as well as read another chapter of, The Lake House-Kate Morton, (amazing book, would really recommend).
I arrived home and pasta came to mind, as well as a drink, because I was SO thirsty. I went to grab a pint glass, but knocked on the floor because the draining board was crowded with other dished. I had a smash. As I went to pick up the remains I fell over my feet ... Yes my own FEET, and landed on the floor. Knowing there was glass there I put my hands out to protect my face. I looked at my hands and I was petrified with what I saw. Blood was spurting out my wrist, instinct was to put as much pressure on my wrist as possible. I screamed, Chris tuned around and looked at me with alarming eyes. He called an ambulance and rushed me down the stairs. I was running as fast as I could, I felt faint while sprinting down the spiral stairs. I manged to fight the urge. I saw the front desk of the University in sight, and burst into a full blown panic attack. I could hear Chris shouting at the ambulance team, as they said they were going to be hours. The team on the front desk went into medical mode and tried to calm me down, I couldn't breath, everything around me was dimming. I remember a man holding my hand and trying to clean my cut and saying. "it's not that bad". He went to take a look, and to his horror he gasped and told me to get in his car as he was rushing me to hospital. At this point I was freaking out, Chris was holding my hand. I thought I was going to die.
I arrived at the hospital, they examined me and managed to control the bleeding.
The worst was over,  I was then put in the waiting room to get stitches. 5 hours it took. 5 hours in the waiting room and I finally was able to get my stitches.
I stumbled into the A&E department, bear in my I still hadn't eaten all day, and by this point it was 5pm. They examined my arm and was contemplating what to do, they said and I quote, "I have never seen anything like this, it's so deep, we are surprised you are still alive, you could have cut a major blood clot". As you can imagine I started crying at the thought I could have died. I could have died ... That was terrifying to me, I could have died and I didn't. I am so grateful. Words can't even describe.
So thankful for the people that stitched me up and calmed me down. So thankful for my boyfriend Chris holding my hand all the way through. He's my star.

PICTURES ARE BELOW, DON'T LOOK IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE BLOOD!

Sorry if the images have lines in them, the light I was under distorted the image. The pictures don't justify how deep it was, but 5 entire stitches! This is the craziest thing that has happened! I have never broken a bone, but I would have rather broken something, than being told I could have died.
I hope this was an entertaining blog post for you guys, now that I'm sitting down at my computer, I am so entirely grateful for what I have in life.
I love you all so very much, see you later with a phone unboxing! I love you all so very much!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Non-vegan: Not your average scrambled egg

Scrambled eggs, sour-cream and chive sauce and sriracha

Good evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've been doing University work, damn I've just finished it all! I've now just found the time to sit down and write this blog post:).
I still can't believe how fast this day has gone! A lot of work and power naps with my boyfriend, nothing better than that. Any how, I made this concoction yesterday and I loved it! I also made it again because Chris wanted to try it, and just as I thought he loved it also :).
If you want to find out how to make this then have a little gander down below.

If you want to read other non-vegan recipes click here!

Fundamentally when you make this you can make your own sour cream and chive sauce, or you can buy it from the shops. I have tried both methods, both just as great; but if you are in a rush or don't really care then just buy the sauces from the shop :).

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs (or as many your stomach is telling you to eat);
  • butter or cream (optional);
  • sour cream and chive dip;
  • spicy sauce (if you fancy some heat);
  • 10 grams cheese.

STEPS ON  HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Take a medium pan and put some butter in there, let it melt slowly on a low medium heat;
  2. crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk, add salt and pepper and mix until combined;
  3. when the butter is melted put the eggs into the pan and stir, turn the heat up to gas mark 4; keep stirring as you don't want the eggs sticking to the bottom;
  4. when the eggs start forming bash them with a wooden spoon, as you want them to be separate and not a clump;
  5. when the eggs are cooked to your perfection add the sour cream and chive sauce, stir until combined;
  6. (optional) add in the chilli sauce with the sour cream sauce for some additional heat;
  7. place your scrambled eggs into a bowl. put some bread in the toaster and ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Eggs:
Eggs are a very good source of inexpensive, high quality protein. More than half the protein of an egg is found in the egg white along with vitamin B2 and lower amounts of fat and cholesterol than the yolk.

This is now the end of the blog post Little ones! I hope you enjoyed this non-vegan recipe. It's quick and easy to make, and handy if you are constantly on the go. If you are an egg fan then you are in luck today! Why not try something new for  your breakfast tomorrow? :).
If you do re-create this please tag me on my social media down below, or let me know what you thought about it in the comment section.
I love you all so very much, I will see you tomorrow with a product review and something special! Sweet dreams! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x
