Good afternoon Little Ones! How are you all today? I'm finally back home, gosh I missed being here! But I had a wonderful experience being an orange volunteer at insomnia 60! If you want to know more information about that, I'll be uploading a vlog on my YouTube Channel tomorrow, if that's something you want to watch then type: Miss Rose McGuire into the search bar and have a little stalk.
Any how, if you want to know what me and my other half got up to in St Albans, then keep on reading :).

If you want to read other little adventures click here!

What did we get up to?

First and foremost me and Christopher had been trapped by the awful weather, until we awoke to a beautiful, warm day! Evidently, we took advantage of the weather and headed down to St Albans. Originally we had a plan to get our nails done, hand my CV around places; but that could wait another day.
By the time we arrived at St Albans it was time for lunch, in which I was peckish for some pasta! Carluccio's was around the corner, and me and Christopher both adore the food. We managed to whip a seat outside and enjoy the sun-rays ... Although I do regret sitting towards the sun, but at least I'd finally get some colour on my face.
It was absolutely fantastic, lovely warm food, crisp drinks and Christopher for company, it was such a wonderful meal. I ordered a grapefruit and vodka cocktail, bitter to begin with, but the after-taste was deliciously sweet! If you love grapefruit, then you will relish this drink; but mind you, it was very alcoholic! Only need one of those to boost your confidence! Whereas typical Chris had his Peroni, which was well deserved and needed in the blazing heat. Nothing better than cooling down with ice cold drinks.
On the other hand, our food was utterly delicious, I had salmon pasta, with a fresh salad. Tasted beautiful, just what I needed to feel energised again; plus it was super healthy, so I didn't feel guilty eating it.
Christopher on the other hand, didn't enjoy his sea-food pasta, he wanted more cheese, and meat to the dish; which I completely understand, especially when the details of the dish specify in different types of seafood. But then again, he's quite picky.
Time had flown by with conversation between the pair of us; but we had eaten like kings and needed to burn off the everlasting food.
We headed towards the market and came across Chris's dream car brand ... Tesla, as you can see in the images above, he's extremely content ... And handsome (may I add). I remember people trying to test out the car, and Chris refusing to let them in ... As you can imagine the salesperson became rather agitated, I believe his face is in one of these photos; as you can see, not very happy.
We couldn't believe that we had spent over 4 hours in St Albans! It's such a content and beautiful atmosphere, hopefully me and Christopher shall be living there very soon ... But that's another chapter of my life. Future Amy and Chris will worry about that some other time.
Any how, I'm rambling, back to our little adventure! We didn't get up to very much, we were simply walking around, enjoying the views and the warmth on the back on our necks. I just enjoyed taking various photos, talking with Christopher and looking at future homes.
All in all the day was joyful and we rested when we arrived home, all the walking we did hit us the next day. But hey-ho, at least we ventured out took the sun while it lasted. Because the very next day, it rained ... And wouldn't stop.

There you Little Ones have it! A little adventure! There will be many more where that came from! Again I'm so happy that I'm back in business! I will see you again tomorrow with an all famous make-up review! Remember to stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Where have I been?

What am I doing?

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Hello Little Ones! How have you all been? I know some of you have been wondering where I've scurried off to, but don't worry, I'm here to return! Turns out having a YouTube Chanel, a blog, a part-time job and University commitments is harder than it looks. But I am back and better than ever! I just want to say sorry, and give you an ENTIRE explanation, because that's what you deserve! My follow readers AKA My Little Ones mean absolutely everything to me.
If you want to find out more about my explanation, then carry on reading down below :).

What's happened?

Where should I start? I think University is the perfect pin-point, simply because it's taking up the majority of my time. Within my first year my time-table changes every four to six weeks, annoying but that's the way it is, thankfully it WON'T be like this when I start my second year in October. Anyhow, before my time-table changes a portfolio is due in which is worth a high percentage of my course, and evidently like most students I want the best possible grade, and that doesn't come by looking at my computer screen doing nothing. To obtain the grades I've been getting I've had to put a lot of hard work, determination and hiding away. I've hated staying hidden for so long, but I knew that if I continued writing my blog, my grades would lack, and I would feel disgusting for letting them slip. I always want to create quality content for you Little Ones, I don't see a point in putting 90% into one topic, and 10% in the other. That's never been my work ethic and NEVER will be. Would I have done this differently? Yes, 100%, I wish that I wrote a blog post beforehand, but what's happened has happened and I can't change it unfortunately. But I will take this as a learning curve. On the other hand, I have also learnt that taking away what I love ... Which is my blog; away from me, makes me very unhappy. I've been utterly miserable the past few months .. And that's because I haven't had time to escape into the world I love.
Currently writing this with a massive smile on my face, as I finally get to do what I love ... And that's writing and helping you lovely people.
But University wasn't the only aspect that was setting me back, I have a part-time job, which I adore ... But sometimes things happen that you don't want to. Unfortunately my boss is leaving, and the stress of trying to replace him as been diabolical. I have a fear that we are going to shut down, simply because it's happened to me twice already ... I think that's a logical fear to think about? Due to this indecent I've been trying to search for a new job; just encase; I don't think anything is wrong in that. I've had interview after interview, and I just don't seem to be getting any luck. I've recently applied to a place that I have always wanted to work, and let's hope I hear back from them ... It would take away some of the pressure. It's simply been the amount of pressure placed on me ... I've found myself in a dark place, and that's not where I want to be. I want to provide positive attitudes so it influences you all to do better. Not the other way round, that's NOT what I'm about.
Finally, last but not least, I've been planning and helping out with the INSOMNIA i60 event! I'm on the orange team, aka logistics team. It primarily means that we are the operations, we put the products in place, help organise where everything is meant to be etc. Behind the scenes I've been having to reply to emails, sorting out paperwork, and organising myself, getting the items I need to go to the event in Birmingham. All in all today is my last shift which is 8:30pm to 5:30am ... I know a night shift, but all the hard work has paid off! And don't you worry I've been vlogging the entire experience! When I get back home I will be editing and uploading.

There you have it, again I am awfully sorry that I haven't been around, but I have finished University and I don't start again until October, that gives us a total of 6 months! And I am going to be organising my time different so I don't ever do this again. I will be going back to daily blog posts from now on, and that's an absolute promise!
If you keep up to date I will be releasing some little adventures I've had over the past few weeks!
See you Little Ones tomorrow!
I love you all so much, stay safe and stay tuned! :D x x x

Hello and Good Evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've filmed, edited and uploaded another video! I'm keeping to my new year resolution so far and I thought that I would like to share it with you guys!
If you want a little life update with me, then have a read down below!

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

This is going to be a chatty blog post! No fancy pictures or layout, just raw text and emotion. One of my new years resolutions was to gain confidence, and one way in which to do this ... In my opinion was to start a YouTube channel. With this, I have to edit and look at my face for hours on end, all my imperfections are in front of me, and only a week into it, and I'm starting to see that maybe I'm not that bad after all. There are still things that I hate about myself; but that's natural and will heal in time. I knew that when I started getting used the camera, I fell in love with this hobby ... I really hope that I get to do this as my full-time job at some point, because I would be extremely happy ... I get to talk to all of you, and edit videos which I love making. I have never been this happy! I have Chris, a great home, and a job ... But I want this to be my job, I don't want it to be a hobby anymore. I want to create, I want to partake in projects which enhances my creativity. I want to show everyone that doubted me, that I can do this ... And I don't care how long it takes, I will succeed and I will be on top.
And of course I'm going to have bad days, there are going to be times where my anxiety gets the better of me ... But I won't let it bring me down.
To all of you out there, don't let people bring you down to the point where you think you can't achieve your dreams; because you can. I still have a long way to go, this is just the beginning, but it's a new year, and a new me. I know this sounds super cliche, but it's what I'm feeling at this moment in time. Everyone needs inspiration, because you never know how someone is really feeling deep inside. It might be this that motivates them to do better ... This may be the beacon of hope that  makes you rise up and face your fears.
I have a small YouTube channel, and I would love it to grow, because if it helps someone, then I have succeeded. All I want to do is help people, I'm not a great beauty guru, I don't have a label for my channel yet, it's going to be a little bit of this and that ... It's whatever you want to make it, because I want to give you, what you want; I'll just enjoy creating it. This makes me happy, me writing this currently is making me content ... I'm so grateful for technology, because it;s enabled me to be here currently.
This was meant to be a brief blog post, informing you what my YouTube channel was meant to be about, but it turned to be inspirational, and I'm ok with that.
In regards to my channel, Miss Rose McGuire, I'll be uploading a few videos a week, preferably as many as I can create and edit. Some will be based on beauty reviews, and others technology. But I want to tell you about my life, and I want to help people that suffer with anxiety and depression especially, because it's a serious issue; which I still tackle on a day to day basis.
Don't worry if you think I'm going to prioritise YouTube over blogger, that's not the case, I want to do both and I will, I love writing and I love creating videos.
If you have any suggestions for what you would like to see, please leave comments down below. Check out my channel if you want to, I will leave a link down below for you.
I hope you've had a lovely day, I will see you tomorrow with a review :)
I love you all so very much, stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x

Hello and Good Evening Little ones! How are you all? I've been filming and typing away today, just about to head out to dinner, but before I do that I wanted to tell you how my experience was with Greys yesterday. Some of you may be aware that I'm in the process of dying my hair grey balayage, it's going to take a few more goes but the process yesterday was fantastic ... You hear some horror stories on the internet, and this isn't one of them' time to spread some positive. If you are planning on getting your hair dyed and don't know where to go, then have a little read of this.

Where do I start? The consultation? Yes ... Consultation! I was on my lunch break (only get 30 minutes) and I was researching where to go, didn't want to go to Stoneshills as last time was awful-I'll let you know in another blog post if you are interested.
Where I live there isn't much, but a BUNCH of: hairdressers, coffee shops and charity shops, so I seeked out Greys and went in there. I'm a very anxious person and get nervous when booking appointments, but as soon as I went in there, they greeted me with a warm smile and started a casual conversation. I told them what I wanted and they booked me a consultation right then and there! My hairdresser Claire walked me through the process and stated that it would take a few goes for my hair to turn that colour ... Which I thought was extremely helpful! She also did a skin test, and took a piece of my hair and showed me what colour it would go, again I hadn't even given her a single penny and she was treating me like royalty. Right off the bat I knew I was walking into the right place. It only took 10 minutes, I even had time to finish my lunch and visit my boyfriend, (we work in the same shopping centre).
Two days before I was due to go to my appointment Claire phoned me and said, "would you like to come in earlier, as you have thick hair". Of course I said yes! I was so excited! And I was so happy with the service as she actually thought about me, and offered if I wanted to go in earlier ... I was falling in love and was so content and I hadn't even had my hair done.

It was time! I walked into Greys at 12:00pm and Claire was there waiting for me ... I love people who are dead on time, I have so much respect. Me and her clicked, it felt like I had known her for years, the conversation was constantly flowing, I didn't feel awkward at any point. There was a point where I told her where I worked, which is a phone shop, and she was actually a customer at the phone shop I work at. Because I really like her, I thought that I should give her my friends/family discount .. I really hope that she comes in a day that I'm working, just because she's such a lovely person.
In terms of her work, she did an amazing job! Just watching her looking after my hair, and making sure that what she was doing was perfect was amazing. She never left me alone at ANY point, she was always there to make sure that the dye wasn't on for too long. Something that Stonehills was awful for! I went there a few months ago, and the "top" guy left me on my own, I had a massive panic attack thinking that my hair was falling out ... He left me for an hour on my own ... With BLEACH in my hair ... You can see why I wanted to change.
Anyhow, when it came to washing my hair she did it so gently, nearly made me go to sleep! She also used hair products that I wanted to buy; so it was like try before you buy. Claire was just amazing at her job, so lovely and kind! She's been doing her job for over 10 years, and damn my hair looks amazing because of her!
I was so thankful, and will always be! She's going to be my staple hairdressers for a while! I have another appointment booked in with her in Feburary, and I can't wait to see her again, and the team! They were all so attentive and kind ... I don't mind paying extra, simply because I get the service alongside.

I would highly recommend this salon, if you don't mind paying a little extra then you will love the experience. I had the full package done, dying my hair took a very long time ... 4 hours, and Claire made the experience amazing. To keep my attention, and a conversation flowing for that long on both behalf's was fantastic.
I hope that the team in Welwyn see this, you are all so lovely! Wouldn't mind working there myself!

Anyhow! This is now the end of the blog post, I hope you enjoyed reading this! I sure loved writing it! I hope you all had a lovely day, I will see you again very soon! I love you Little Ones! Stay safe and stay tuned :) x x x

Estee Lauder Lipstick Review

Estee Lauder 120&370 Lipstick Review

DISCLAIMER: I have not been paid by Estee, I have only recently purchased some of their lipsticks, I have tried their make-up before, but I fell in love with their lipsticks. Everything I'll be writing is 100% true, it's just my opinion.

Hello and Good Morning! I'm back again! It's lovely to get into the flow of things! I've enjoyed my Christmas break, but I've missed sitting down and writing: reviews, recipes and advice blog posts! It's a chilly morning today, I have the heating on full blast; and rocking out my bunny slippers ... So cosy it's unreal! Any how, as you know Christmas has flown away, very upsetting, but with that I've been treating myself, I'm lipstick OBSESSED! My collection is silly but they're gorgeous; I recently picked up these Estee Lauder ones and I've fallen in love. I've never had a red shade, simply because I didn't think I could pull if off, but DAMN let me just say ... They are stunning!
Sorry for rambling, if you want to see a detailed review, instead of me spilling words onto a page, then have a little read down below :).

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

PRESENTATION:

Iridescent. It’s like you are holding a lipstick shaped sapphire, it gleams in the sunlight and screams natural beauty. Estee Lauder have a wonderful reputation of creating eccentric products, and these lipsticks are no exception. When I first unleashed these beauties from the cardboard exterior I was stunned by how beautiful and compact they were, you can carry these around with ease! The gold and navy-blue represent the true Estee Lauder colours, you know you are receiving luxury when you see these statement shades. On the other hand, when I took the lid off, I was stunned that it was magnetic … Yes MAGNETIC! They had gone through the trouble of paying such close attention to detail that they inserted a magnetic mechanism; which ensures a tight lock; sometimes with click-on lids it can come undone in your bag; whereas this is locked tight, no need to worry about lipstick going all over your bag. Other than that, I feel very opulent and loved when I pick up this lipstick, I know that my well-earned money has gone towards a fanciful company.
In addition to this, when you un-click the lipstick, you are met with the stamp, ‘Estee Lauder’ on the side, just to remind you that they are always there for you, it also makes it very personal. I also noticed that the actual lipstick was sharp like a bullet … WHICH I ADORE! It makes it easier for a smooth application, and precision, I tried using this without a lipliner and it was so easy!

THE PRODUCT:

In regards to the lipstick, perfection! It glides on silky smooth which is a must for me! Before discovering higher-end lipsticks I struggled finding a product that didn’t feel like chalk … But this is beyond wonderful, and the pigmentation is stunning! One swipe and a burst of colour is applied to your lips … When I say, this I mean it, no more than one swipe otherwise you will transfer like crazy! Believe me my boyfriend learnt the hard way … Constantly staining his cheek.
Estee Lauder use the key ingredient seed oil, this is what makes the lipstick stay together, as well as glide like butter. This is what I love about their formula, it doesn’t dry out your lip, especially when this is a matte lipstick … And that’s also true to their statement. Both colours are matte, and gorgeous colours. They suit all skin types! I was always worried about trying a red lipstick, as I’m deadly pale; but these two work really well with my skin tone.
On the other hand, the staying power on these lipsticks were insane! I could have them BOTH on all day long, and would only have to re-apply once, and that was due to eating and drinking throughout the day. Normally when I take a few sips of my drink with other lipsticks, it clumps up together which is disgusting, whereas this doesn't move! Defiantly a plus in my books, and I'm very hard to please ... In terms of lipsticks anyway.

THE PRICE:

Now let’s talk about price. It’s not cheap, but if you are willing to go the extra mile and make sure that your lipstick has great pigmentation, staying power and easy to apply; then I don’t think you’d mind spending, £25.50. Yes, that is the retail price of this lipstick, but if you are a lipstick collector like me; and you feel like lipstick is a stable to your final look, then I would HIGHLY recommend this product!
This is the BEST collection of lipsticks I have ever tried, and I have Mac, Chanel and YSL. But these Estee Lauder ones are my staple, I’m wearing them to death at the moment.
If you are interested in purchasing these lipsticks click the link below, there are other shades there as well, if red isn’t for you.

This is now the end of the blog post! I hope you enjoyed this little review, I've missed doing these ever so much! Also if you didn't know I now have a YouTube channel! I listened to your requests and I have finally created one! I will be doing vlogs/challenges on there! It really does depend on what you want me to do. I will be putting up a vlog either today or tomorrow as I'm getting my hair dyed today! I already have a video on there, if you want to check that out I will leave the link down below for you :).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

Hello and welcome back Little Ones! Happy new year you lovely people! How have you all been? Please do tell me what you got up to New Years Eve, always nice to hear about who drank too much ... One of which was me. But hey! It's a start of a new year and why not enjoy yourself? Even if that does mean spending hours with your head in the toilet.
As you can probably tell already, this is going to be a chatty blog post! No advice or reviews in this one, sorry! But I have some very exciting news for you! One of my new years resolutions is to become more confident, and by doing this I'm going to start vlogging! Yes it's terrifying because I'm worried that people are going to judge me, but I've learnt in the past that forcing yourself to do something out of your comfort zone ... Helps. I finally have my beloved vlogging camera, of which I will be using this week! I'll create an introduction video which explains what I'll be doing, as well as telling you more about myself.
In my opinion I feel that talking to a camera and letting someone see you creates a better rapport and connection. I want to make you feel that I'm there for you, without hiding behind a computer screen. That being said I'm not disappearing anywhere, I will still continue to create content on my blog! I'll just have a YouTube channel as well!
I can't wait to get on with my new projects! Any how, what are your New Years Resolutions? Or do you not believe in them? I never used to, I thought they were a waste of time, commit to them for a week of two. But as I matured in age I began to grasp the importance of them.
What was last year like for you? Was it great? I know what mine was mediocre, there were highs and lows, but it made me grow as a person. I got into University, have a great job and a fantastic relationship. The only thing I wish I had done was go out more, I was too awkward and anxious, but as I mentioned previously I am going to improve of that, starting now!
My blog posts will go back to normal, there will be a review going up tomorrow, and maybe even a YouTube video! Fingers crossed! If not then differently next week!
I better head off, I have a lecture to go to, but you will see me again tomorrow! I love you all so very much! Stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Good evening Little ones! I've taken a little break, I've been with the family over the Christmas period, completing University work, and also writing my first ever book ... I think it's going OK so far; but I'm always sceptical about my work. I've just come home from a date with my boyfriend, and I thought that I would write a blog post on it, I always enjoy reading about my favourite bloggers personal life; makes me feel like I'm there with them. Any-who, if you want to know what I got up to this evening then have a read down below; enjoy :).

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

I've been working a lot, so much in fact that I haven't really taken the time to breath. Having an evening out with my other half was the break I needed, it restored my energy and made me feel happier as a person. As most of you are aware, if you are put under so much pressure is really takes it out on you; emotionally and physically. Just to take a breather once in a while is fantastic, and especially with people you cherish.
Me and Christopher decided to head out to Bill's, somewhere we don't normally go because I'm a pasta gal, I love my Italian food, but we fancied something different; plus we've been to Bill's before and we LOVE their food!
It came to ordering, and I had a pink lemonade, I normally hate fizzy drinks; but this was rather refreshing, and it kept me awake! Whereas Chris had a Budweiser ... Jeez he was drunk near the end of the night, hilarious to witness; but tiring to get home. But it was time for our main meal to arrive! As you can see in the images above I decided to go with a fish pie. It was so delicious! The fish was so fresh and creamy, and the potato crunchy and delightful. It wasn't rich to begin with, but near the end my stomach was telling me to STOP! Just encase IBS hit, and I don't fancy that on a romantic date with my boyfriend. He then went with a manly meal ... Classic steak and chips. He devoured his in seconds, still stunned!
Like every main course, it has to finish with a desert ... I don't care how full I feel I always need something sweet after, it wouldn't feel right! Luckily Bill's had their famous chocolate brownie ... And yes I ate the hell out of it! I'm sorry there is no picture, I forgot to take one, and by the time I remembered I had already eaten it ... But it was delicious! If you go there at any point, GET THE BROWNIE! You'll love it!
Whereas Chris bought the salted caramel apple crumble, it looked fantastic on the menu, but when served it wasn't as great, and the taste (in my opinion) wasn't fantastic; but that's because I don't like walnuts ... Without those and I think it would have been great.
All in all it was a great evening, we had a great talk, laugh and some drinks together. I would say cherish the time you have with another person, they really do make you grow. Ever since I met Chris he has made me so much happier. He has given me so much more confidence, as I him.
I apologise that there aren't many pictures of us, but we do value our privacy, plus Chris is camera shy, he's awkward, and I respect that.
Oh side-note! I will be vlogging at the VERY end of this year! I am in the process of learning how to edit, and construct videos. I want to perfect it for you Little ones! But I will still be blogging if that answers any questions.
This is now the end of my blog post, I hope you enjoyed this evening out! I would highly recommend Bill's, if you have never been before; then try something new, I'm sure you will have the time of your life.
I love you all so very much, I will see you again soon! Merry Christmas!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x
