Good evening Little ones! I've taken a little break, I've been with the family over the Christmas period, completing University work, and also writing my first ever book ... I think it's going OK so far; but I'm always sceptical about my work. I've just come home from a date with my boyfriend, and I thought that I would write a blog post on it, I always enjoy reading about my favourite bloggers personal life; makes me feel like I'm there with them. Any-who, if you want to know what I got up to this evening then have a read down below; enjoy :).

I've been working a lot, so much in fact that I haven't really taken the time to breath. Having an evening out with my other half was the break I needed, it restored my energy and made me feel happier as a person. As most of you are aware, if you are put under so much pressure is really takes it out on you; emotionally and physically. Just to take a breather once in a while is fantastic, and especially with people you cherish.
Me and Christopher decided to head out to Bill's, somewhere we don't normally go because I'm a pasta gal, I love my Italian food, but we fancied something different; plus we've been to Bill's before and we LOVE their food!
It came to ordering, and I had a pink lemonade, I normally hate fizzy drinks; but this was rather refreshing, and it kept me awake! Whereas Chris had a Budweiser ... Jeez he was drunk near the end of the night, hilarious to witness; but tiring to get home. But it was time for our main meal to arrive! As you can see in the images above I decided to go with a fish pie. It was so delicious! The fish was so fresh and creamy, and the potato crunchy and delightful. It wasn't rich to begin with, but near the end my stomach was telling me to STOP! Just encase IBS hit, and I don't fancy that on a romantic date with my boyfriend. He then went with a manly meal ... Classic steak and chips. He devoured his in seconds, still stunned!
Like every main course, it has to finish with a desert ... I don't care how full I feel I always need something sweet after, it wouldn't feel right! Luckily Bill's had their famous chocolate brownie ... And yes I ate the hell out of it! I'm sorry there is no picture, I forgot to take one, and by the time I remembered I had already eaten it ... But it was delicious! If you go there at any point, GET THE BROWNIE! You'll love it!
Whereas Chris bought the salted caramel apple crumble, it looked fantastic on the menu, but when served it wasn't as great, and the taste (in my opinion) wasn't fantastic; but that's because I don't like walnuts ... Without those and I think it would have been great.
All in all it was a great evening, we had a great talk, laugh and some drinks together. I would say cherish the time you have with another person, they really do make you grow. Ever since I met Chris he has made me so much happier. He has given me so much more confidence, as I him.
I apologise that there aren't many pictures of us, but we do value our privacy, plus Chris is camera shy, he's awkward, and I respect that.
Oh side-note! I will be vlogging at the VERY end of this year! I am in the process of learning how to edit, and construct videos. I want to perfect it for you Little ones! But I will still be blogging if that answers any questions.
This is now the end of my blog post, I hope you enjoyed this evening out! I would highly recommend Bill's, if you have never been before; then try something new, I'm sure you will have the time of your life.
I love you all so very much, I will see you again soon! Merry Christmas!
Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Good afternoon Little ones! I'm currently curled up in bed, warm and toasty ... Just finished reading The Lake House by Kate Morton; and I'm so overwhelmed, but satisfied, that I've read another book. I thought that I would add something new to my blog, some sort of a book review? I'll do this ever so often, simply because my readers out there might want another book recommendation; so I'm here to save the day! Oh, and on the contrary, you could help me! Let me know what books you love, and I'll review them on here!
Anyhow, if you want to know more about this book then have a little wonder down below! Don't worry, I won't be giving ANY significant information away!

Check out my recent blog giveaway click here!

After reading, The Lake House it gave me a different perspective of life itself ... I was so absorbed in the characters that when it came to resurfacing life itself I was left numb. Kate Morton has a style of writing which takes you on the journey, that;s when you know you are reading an exceptional novel. She's an incredible women, with a passion with words that take your breath away. From the minuscule detailing of her surroundings, for the unfolding relationships between each character. There were times when I had to take a breather, simply because my emotions had go the better of me ... It was choking.
I felt that because she had studied Cornwall beforehand, she knew what she was writing to a tee. She nailed the salty air, and the windswept hair by the sea ... It had taken me back to the time when I had visited Cornwall ... Oh the beauty, it's utterly memorable. On the other hand, I loved the aspect of being in one era, and then another ... Books like that I adore, simply because everything comes together neatly at the end. Some people will disagree; but then everyone has a different reading and writing style; which makes book writing even more admirable. In regards to her story line it was perfection. T'was based on an abandoned home, where something heartbreaking had occurred, several people thought they were to blame for the incident ... But the answer was right in front of them. So many blot-twists, and shocking revelations. It pulls on your deepest emotion and takes you with them. You are there with the charters, you are in their minds, you can see and feel what they feel; and that's a blessing and a curse.
Kate Morton tied in several significant and triggering revelations in her book, WW1 and WW2, and what it was like for both men and women in those days.
I don't want to give any charter development away, simply because it would ruin your reading experience.
Therefore, if you adore mystery and having to guess what happens next, then you will fall in love with this book. It's my favourite out of her entire book collection, I would know since I've read the entirety of her books. But they have all left me speechless and wanting more.
Just like always I find it hard to pick up another book when I have been swaying with emotions, it'll be a few days until I can read again, just because I have fallen deeply in love with the book, and reading another wouldn't feel right ... Does anyone else feel like that? I hope that I'm not overly insane.

I must now love you and leave you. I hope that you enjoyed this short but sweet blog post! I enjoyed writing it! I promise you will love the book, and if you don't then that's fine; it's not the one for you.
Anyhow, if you do get the chance of picking up this book, please tell me what you think about it! I would love to know!
I'll leave a link below to where you can purchase this story, if you are still interested of course!
I love you all so very much, see you soon! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x

Good evening Little ones, I've been working hard the past few days, but I miss you all so very much; so I'm here typing away. I thought that it was about time that I let you know me a little more, and by doing this, I thought that by telling you one of the most devastating stories would do the trick. Evidently, by the title of the blog post, most of you will understand why this was extremely stressful; and some of you may know how heartbreaking this situation is ... If one of you individuals have experienced this, I feel utterly sorry for you, because it breaks you down as a person.
Anyhow, I lived on and I'm now at University, if you want to know the details then have a wonder down below :).

Background information:

First and foremost, I was in Sixth Form for three years. Not because I failed my first year but because I didn't want to carry on what I was studying in the first year. I walked out of first year with 2A's and a B ... In English, Business and Finance. SO many people have stated, "why did you change your subjects, your grades were amazing". The truth of the matter was, I wasn't happy with what I was studying, I was so depressed and lost with what I wanted to do with my life. School lead to you to believe that this was it ... What you do know embodies you into the person you will become, which in my mind meant,if you mess it up due to low grades and sluggish passion; you might as well be on the streets. The pressure and wanting to succeed lead me to pick the subjects I've always wanted to do ... And I did, even though it meant staying an extra two years in Secondary School.

I decided to go down the creative route, and selected: Photography, Media and Product Design. I adored the first year, apart from the fact that somebody destroyed my Product Design Final, which I had to drop in the end, (that'll be another Storytime). I finished the first year with an A and a B, which again, I was over the moon with, I thought my final year would be the same, but it wasn't and you'll find out why in the next section.

What happened?

Fundamentally, it was a new start to the year, in Photography we were given a topic, in this case it what surfaces, we had to find artists in which we thought used multiple surfaces in their work; it could literally be anything, as long as you could analyse and justify why and how it was relevant. I went with 4 different artists, as I could differentiate the variety of styles each photographer used; as it would give you higher marks. Being an analytical person, I thought I would do well in that aspect. We all had to find the photographers, analyse their work, respond to their work by taking images of your own, edit them and select your final pieces and analyse them. This process took several hours, and you had to do at least 3 photo-shoots, for each individual artists ... Estimations, you had to take at least 200-250 photographs for ONE artist ... And I had four. You can only imagine the amount of time I had spent on my work.
But it wasn't about just taking the images, the way you edited your images and why was the most important factor, this is where all the marks came from. In my case I had an artist which hand embellished their photographs, just to let you know how long it took for me to edit ONE image ... 3 hours. I had to hand-sew sequins and string to an a2 piece of paper ... I had 4 of these as my final piece to one artist. After I had actually completed my work, which took 7 months it was time for our review.
This is where the teacher would modify and mark your work, I was being told from the amount of of effort I was putting in, it was worth "at least an A".

When it came to find out my predicted grade my teacher sat me down and gave me a yellow slip of paper. It stated "U". I thought that it was upside-down, or she was having a bad day, because from what they were saying, it was worth AT LEAST AN A. She then said, "Amy, I'm really sorry to inform you but your work has been misplaced, so I had to mark you down as Upgradeable".
I heart stopped beating, my hands were sweating, I went into a full panic attack ... And then stopped. So much was going through my mind, I had been working on this for 7 months, we were about to be set our exam work, we had no more time to go back to our coursework, which was worth 60% OF OUR FINAL GRADE. For once, I actually stood up to myself and swore at this teacher, I went on about how she incompetent and why this was wrong on so many levels. My work my A grade worthy and she had the nerve to not only downgrade me, but to LOOSE my work. She has always gone on about how she adored my inordinately, and how I was different from all the other students. She didn't "misplace" anyone else's work but mine ... In which I thought she kept it for herself; or she's just stupid enough that she can't track where she's kept A-LEVEL WORK!
I refused to re-start my entire project, as that meant staying up various nights ... So I cracked on with the exam work, and complained to my head of year and refused to re-do my coursework. There were threats of them kicking me out because I was being so rude to my teacher ... But come on?! She lost my work, she should lose her job! If she can't look after A-Level work then she shouldn't be a teacher, it's disgusting. I had other subjects to revise for, and this incident made my world tumble around me.

Luckily enough my head of year reviewed my work, and said, "because it was worth an A that's what we will grade you".

I remember walking in the last day, and stating to other students that this teacher couldn't be trusted ... With her right there. I held my head up high, and was proud when my results came in for both my A-levels, because I managed to achieve good grades, with the stress of this awful indecent.

I now study Marketing, and I adore it. I should have just stayed studying business, but at that time in my life I wasn't interested, but now my entire life is focused on Business and Marketing.
This is now the end of the blog post Little ones, if you have any further questions please let me know in the comment section down below! I have so many other stories to tell you about my School life!
If any of you have gone though this, as mentioned previously I really do feel for you; but it does make you a stronger person.
I love you all so very much, see you again very soon! Merry Christmas Little ones! Stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Good Morning Little ones! What are your plans for today? My bestfriend is coming over-can't wait to see her! Also running into town to get a few bits and pieces, then I need to double check if my glasses have arrived; because I can't see properly; I'm surprised I've been able to write clear blog posts.
Any how, it's not too long for Christmas! I'm so excited! Also have you seen the giveaway I'm hosting on my blog, if not then Click here! All you have to do is follow my blog and you are automatically entered! Now lets get on with the blog post :D.

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams egg noodles;
  • 1 red pepper;
  • 1 squash;
  • 1 precooked chicken leg;
  • 3 plums;
  • soy-sauce;
  • oil.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Making the sauce: cut and skin the plums and put them into a blender, add the soy-sauce and blend, then put to one side.
  2. Prepare your vegetables: cut the pepper into fine strips, and the squash into little squares; this way it cooks faster.
  3. Put oil into a pan and place the vegetables in there, wait until they are soft and then add the chicken;
  4. after 3 minutes add the egg noodles and homemade plum sauce until steaming hot;
  5. Plate up and enjoy! :D

Why these ingredients?

Red pepper:
Red bell peppers contain several phytochemicals and carotenoids, particularly beta-carotene, which lavish you with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. This strengths your immune system and helps fight infection due to the phytochemicals.

Chicken:

Chicken:
Chicken as we all know contains an mass amount of protein, this repairs your muscles and insures that they won't rip or pull. This is crucial in your diet if you do weight-training or any form of sports.

Good evening Little ones! How have you been today? I've been planning essays, buying the last Christmas presents and chilling with my friends. As you can tell by the title I also had quite the feast, rather delicious I must say! Less about me, what did you do today? Please let me know I love talking to you:).
Anyhow, if you want to see what we created then have a little look down below and enjoy, might give you some inspiration, (of just make you very hungry).

There is going to be no structure for this blog post, hope you don't mind! This wasn't even meant to happen. There was a discussion between my boyfriend and our friend Levi that I've never had egg soldiers, (I have now); but they were ever so shocked. So we marched over to Marks and Spencer's just for eggs, but by the time we got to the till we had more than what we bargained for. We left with: bacon, sausages, bread, numerous spices, beans and mushrooms. I knew then that this wasn't going to be any lunch; it was going to be a feast, especially when Levi is in town.
We arrived in mine and Chris's apartment and our stomachs took over. Our kitchen turned into a full work station. It was like a cooking programme broke into our home! We were speedy and efficient. We put everything to practice and created a beautiful and tasty meal. As you can see there is a large amount of food, in which no one finished. It was a great laugh, a few friends nattering away, letting the day pass by.
I love being adventurous with food, as well as spontaneous plans, I never expected this, but knowing Levi, you have to expect the non-expected, (it's a good thing).
On the other hand, it was the first time that I had tried venison sausages, and at first I liked them, but taking several bites the flavour became too intense; but I'm not a massive meat eater in the first place, when I'm not being vegan I'm a chicken girl through and through.
Some people may not agree with my choice of eating, vegan some days and not, but it's the way I want to live now, there are days where I do intense gym training, and I need meat; tofu doesn't help me as much. But you will see some vegan recipes soon Little ones, so don't you worry!
I'm currently writing this, a little intoxicated since I've been drinking with my friends, but non the less I'm happy and healthy. Plus I'm cooking some good and healthy food, which will also be on the blog shortly! I'm sorry for rambling, but I love reading blog posts that are personal, I hope this has the same affect?
Oh something else I'd like to mention, is that I'm going to start vlogging this month! It will be just after Christmas! It will be on my YouTube channel, won't be anything speical, it'll be like my blogs, but in a video form. If any of you have any suggestions on what you want to see me do, then I'll do it; I don't mind I just want to make you happy, you are my Little ones, and I appreciate you do much; and that's NOT the drunk me talking.
Anyhow, I better rap this up, I've been trying to finish this for a while, but gaming came into play and I couldn't stop, so here I am now writing this at 10:30.
I love you all so very much! May not be the best content I've produced but it can't be the worst! I love you all so very much, I will see you soon with another blog post! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones! :) x x x
