Good afternoon Little Ones! Due to me moving jobs drastically I've gone through an extensive amount of interviews ... All of which was successful! It only pondered me to make this blog post, simply because my mother was so proud that every interview I go for, the likely hood of me passing overall is high-which is the case. Not to toot my own horn but I'm very presumptuous of myself, (in the interview world anyway). I thought that writing an extensive blog post on how to pass that interview; would be exceptionally helpful. And for the people that don't like reading, I'll be producing a YouTube video in a couple of weeks-just sorting out moving in!
Anyhow, if you would like to know my secrets, as well as a guidance on how to get the job, carry on reading.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:

Welcome! I may as well start from my experience. As soon as I turned 16 I started applying for jobs, anywhere and everywhere I could. Walking into the working world without any experience is exceedingly daunting. My birthday is in February, and I wasn't called into an interview until September, and that was for a Christmas temporary job at Next. I remember being ever so excited, running around the house repeating, "I have an interview"-I can assure you I drove my parents potty; but they didn't care, because their daughter was moving up, (trying to anyway). But nervous waves took over, how was I going to ace the interview? There are hundreds of people with experience, more mature, how was I going to outshine the other candidates?
I will answer all these questions in another segment, but these questions are commonly asked, and there's never a good enough answer. From my perspective, I knew that in order to succeed I had to up my game.
Over the years it's become a lot easier for me, if I get called into an interview I know that I can do it. Since working in retail for over 4 years, I have the confidence and experience; but just like everyone else, someone has to start somewhere. A candidate can have all the experience in the world, but it's the way you present yourself as an individual.
In current affairs, I've had over three interviews in a week ... Yes one week! And I was offered all three jobs. Which was wonderful, because I was then able to pick the job best suited for me. And I want you guys to be able to do the same.

THE ANSWER:

There's going to be a LOT of reading, so bare with me! No fancy pictures! I just want to make sure you get all the relevant information, because believe me, this works!

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Before you even consider the interview stage, really think about, why you want this job, how it will benefit you, and why you are the perfect candidate. If you can't answer those questions, that job isn't for you. DON'T work for a company and "wing it". Apply somewhere you can see yourself working, you'll be happier and healthier-mentally and physically. Believe me, I used to love my job, but management changed and it was draining; I came home so depressed, it wasn't worth it.
Start doing background information about the company, they WILL ask you. Every interview I've had, they've always asked me about the company. Don't ruin your chances by being lazy! And I'm not saying you need to learn 5000 facts. Just the basics, where they were founded, what was their inspiration was, how many stores, main achievements. If you pick three or four topics and remember them well, that's a foot forward to getting the job.
Key fact. Remembering is all well and good, but it's how you present yourself. If you spew out all the information without context or real passion; the interviewer isn't going to be impressed. Anyone can learn key facts and figures; but it's how you bring it to life that matters. A way in which you can do this is, when they ask you, "what do you know about the company"? Hit them with a curve-ball, start with an interesting fact, this could be: a key achievement recently, of when they were first founded. They will be shocked that you opened up with something original. Remember, they've been interviewing for days on end, they are expecting you to start with, when they were founded and where-everyone does that! I use that basic information as a closing tool, because it still shows that you know about the company, without sounding like you are reading from a text book.

ATTITUDE:

Interviews are nerve-wreaking, but don't let the anxiety gobble you up. This is the make or break for you getting the job, if you can't handle the interview process, they'll assume that you can't handle the job, (depending on what you are applying for). In my perspective, when I started,I found it very hard to stay calm; I was so nervous I didn't think I was able to walk into the store and register that I was here for my interview. But I wanted to be mature, I wanted to make my own money and spend it the way I wanted-my motivation stayed by my side and aided my anxiety. If you look at the bigger picture, and take it seriously you will get the job, experienced or not.

If you have to take something away from you today, this is it. The key phrase here will be motivation and will-power. If I have to repeat this phrase over, and over and over again,I will! I would not be where I am today if I wasn't for my pure determination. I used to work in a phone company, not naming which one because it's irrelevant, but when I started out I adored my job. I hit all my KPI's monthly, me and my manager got on really well. But behind the scenes the pressure was added, and it hit my manager hard, to the point his watch had to tell him to breath. He was wonderful and I couldn't fault him-but the pressure he would place on his team was depressing. I lost my passion for my job, I cried near enough every-time I came home from work, and it was ruining my relationship with my partner, as he would see me so devastated.
 It took me 9 months to find a new job, and I stayed in the one that was making me so unhappy, because one, I didn't want to give up and not earn any money ... That is not me, and they aren't my morals. I will sick through something, no matter how much I despise the situation. I went through 9 months of applying everywhere-but it was either full-time which I couldn't commit to, or temporary work; which I wasn't OK with. But eventually, all in one week I was called to three interviews, aced all three, offered three jobs; and managed to pick the one I wanted.
I'm 20 years old, studying at a great University, and a member of management at a great company.
The reason why I'm saying this, is because in my mind, nothing could get any worse, I was at rock bottom, and I still managed to not only stay there for 9 more months, but I was able to pick my feet up and obtain an amazing job.
The key point is determination. Without that you won't get anywhere. I can promise you that. If you can graft and stick with something, you will rise to the top, and if you don't get it the first time, you try again; until you get where you want to be.

BODY LANGUAGE:

Walking into an interview, all eyes on you ... Please don't slouch. Walk in with a smile on your face, appear happy to be there! This is your time to shine and no one can take that away from you. Shake their hand, ALL interviewers will be impressed with, your manners and professionalism. Sit up straight and keep eye-contact with them. If you are looking around the room, it shows that you aren't interested ... They judge you within the first 10 seconds, so make that time count!
There are so many facts and features about body language, but do the basics. Such as, when talking, make sure you are clear and confident. You are selling yourself to the company, make them want to buy you! If you believe in yourself, they will gain trust as you as a candidate.
If you start to stutter, or repeat yourself, it shows that you haven't come prepared for the interview; and believe me you don't want that impression to be made!
And please for the love of God dress smart for the occasion! PLEASE DON'T show up in jeans or trainers ... They will notice. Rock out a suit, it doesn't have to be the most expensive, but just look smart- that's their expectation, ALWAYS.

Overall Little Ones, I want you all to do your best, and be the best you can be. Competition is hard out there, so make your voice be heard. I'm not saying this is the perfect concoction, but this has worked for me, and I've made it through my interviews.
Again, if you want one word of advice, it's determination! That's your sink or float.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, I'm going to brush this thick hair of mine and get to work! I love you all so very much! Remember I'm going to be making a YouTube video about this topic very shortly so keep tuned for that!
Stay safe Little Ones! :) x x x

Kerastase Discipline Shampoo Review

Kerastase Discipline Shampoo Review

Hello and welcome to another review! I've discovered a new love and of course I wanted to share it with you lovely people! What are your plans? I've just finished watching stranger things season one! Oh my gosh I'm obsessed, if you haven't seen it, watch it! Season two is coming out in October, I can't wait! Anyhow, if you adore hair products, (and your hair is way out of control), you will love this!

If you want to read another review, click here!

THE PACKAGING:

As you all know by now, I'm a packaging addict! If it looks pretty I'm suckered into buying it ... I know it's a bad trait, but I can't help it. Come on though, it's rose gold! Where have you ever seen rose gold shampoo packing? I can guarantee you've never seen it! If you have you'll understand why I'm obsessed. Anyhow, I find the matte bottle and shiny rim around the lid so elegant and eye-catching. It beats the typical colour scheme of: blue, white and red. Kerastase is highly innovative, and their packaging reflects how well their products perform, believe me I've been using their merchandise for a number of years; and I've always been impressed with the quality of the design and the performance. In addition to this, I love how they've maintained the same font, simply because you can differentiate their brand from all the others, as well as keeping their sophisticated image. They are consistent throughout, which makes not only me, but their loyal customers devoted to the brand; too big of a change and it can make people run in the other direction. On the other hand, Kerastase colour co-ordinate hair type, for example rose gold is for curly thick hair, whereas dry hair is an emerald green. It helps customers remember what colour to go for, instead of reading the small print and getting confused and impatient. I think that's enough about packaging don't you think? Let's move onto the performance!

THE PRODUCT:

Here to the main event! Does it actually work? From all the positive connotations, yes it does work, but I don't know if it'll work for all hair types. From my perspective I have exceedingly thick hair, to the point where I have to get my fiance to brush the back; it actually hurts my arms. For a while I was using Kerastase damage shampoo, and I enjoyed it, but the formula was too dense and didn't distribute as well as I's hoped. So I went back to the drawing board and tried something new, which is why this review is being written. Let me just say, Kerastase really nailed it on the head with this unruly hair shampoo! It's creamy in consistency, and the lava level is out of this world! It's reaches to the scalp and the ends of your hair, it feels squeaky clean and smells beautiful! Although when I saw the bottle I was sceptical, simply because it wasn't very big in comparison to my other shampoo package. But a little really does go a long way, which is fantastic. I've owned this product for just over two months, and I haven't even gone through half; I wash my hair 2-3 times a week, so I'm not going easy on the product either. I believe that by the end of October it'll disappear, and yes I'll be repurchasing the same shampoo, it works well for me, so why not.

THE PRICE:

Now the dreaded price, something that people hate. Is it a lot of money? You can make the decision based on: how much you need the product, and how care-free you are with your money. You earn it, purchase whatever you fancy. I purchased this from my local hairdressers Stonehills, and retailed for £18.60; which is the same price online. Now some people may say, wow that's a bit excessive, in my opinion, no. I was searching for the perfect shampoo that could really clean out my hair, and reduce frizz, this product does that 100%; it makes it easier to brush when soaking wet and damp, (which Chris loves). In addition to this, as mentioned previously, it's lasted me over 2 months, and I haven't even used up half of the product. If this is too much for you there are plenty of drugstore shampoo's out there, Aussie is a great alternative; but I do prefer my Kerastase to be perfectly honest.
If this product is grabbing your attention and you wish to purchase it, click the link below and have a little wonder.

Anyhow, this is now the end of my blog post! I have something else coming out tomorrow! It'll be in the advice category, and I'm also planning on making a YouTube video as well; so keep tuned for that! I hope you have a wonderful day, I will see you Little Ones tomorrow! I love you all so very much! x x x

Life update: being engaged, heading into 2nd year at University, moving out and new job.

Life update

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Good morning! As promised here's another blog post! Prewarning, if you don't enjoy long winded chatty posts, you probably won't like this one; simply because as you can tell by the title, it's a life update. Anyway, how have you all been? I know it's only been a day, but I care about you! After I've written this I'm heading to John Lewis to purchase a new bag! Believe me I'm in need of a new one. I may even do a review, (depending if I find something I like). Wow, I'm rambling again, ever so sorry! Let's get back to the post! I have no idea how I'm going to write this, it may be in an array of questions; but why not go with the flow.

Where to start? Let's roll the dice ... Engaged life? How is it? Sounds silly, but exactly the same as being with someone, but I guess it's nice having a gorgeous ring. I'm kidding, my sarcasm sounds realistic (my fiance is always telling me off).  I love being engaged, in my opinion it refreshes the relationship, it feels new again, not like the past 2 years have been awful; they've been the best years in my life. I must say, having a ring on my finger is exquisite, it makes me feel special, as well as proud, it's a sign that I belong to someone; and evidently that's the case. On the other hand, it's daunting, it's a huge commitment (obviously), I said yes because I knew that I wanted to be with Christopher for the rest of my life, I didn't say it just for the sake of it. People constantly ask me if I regret not being free for a longer period of time. But the party life, or single life doesn't appeal to me personally. I've always relished being in a relationship; but that's my personal opinion, whereas someone else may love the single life. There's not much to say about it really, my relationship is as strong as ever, we get on really well; he's my best friend and I couldn't be any happier to be perfectly honest.
Let's see what else there is to talk about? Well I did finish my first year of University with a FIRST! Yes a FIRST! I'm so extremely happy! But obviously I need to keep this up for 2 years, which I will! I believe that I'm going to write a blog post on my first year as a whole, because so much went on ... But I'm also planning on writing how to prepare for first year, (as I've experienced it), because it's important; and some people may not be mentally or physically prepared. In regards to University I'm heading into my second year, and I'm totally excited! I get to pick what I want to specialise in Marketing, and I couldn't be more thrilled! In terms of where I'm going to be living ... It's stressful yet exhilarating, we know what town we want to move into, and we've booked viewings for the properties, it's just the case of going through all the paperwork, moving into the place and making it look beautiful, (which Chris has left me in charge of). Which I really do appreciate, no offence to him, but his interior design isn't the best.
Last but not least, I've bagged myself a new job! Still in the phone industry, but so much happier! Not as stressful as my last job, and my new team is wonderful, the funniest group of people I have ever met! Although one of them is leaving to go back to University, but she's coming back in December; so I'm really excited! Plus I'm in charge of proof reading her work, so she can't leave me just yet.

Other than that, everything that needed to be said has been said! A lot has gone on in a short space of time, but I'm content that it's fallen into place! I was getting extremely depressed that I couldn't write my blog posts; but I'm back and so thrilled! Anyhow I better shoot off, time to shop for some bags, I hope it doesn't take too long, but then again I'm so fussy! I will either see you later on today with a review of a new shampoo I've been loving, or tomorrow! Either way I will be back!
I love you all so very much! I will see you soon Little Ones! Stay safe and stay tuned! :) x x x

Product Review-Clarins Hydra-Essentiel SPF 15

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel SPF 15 Moisturiser

DISCLAIMER: I have not been paid by Clarins, I'm a personal lover of the brand and just want to share my personal experience and opinions with you.

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Good afternoon! How have you all been? I've been incredibly busy, which will all make sense shortly I promise! I can't believe the summer holidays is over! September already! I'm hoping you've enjoyed the sunshine, if not then the rain! Please let me know what you've all been up to, it'll put a smile on my face! Anyhow, you are all here for a review, are you not? If skincare is one of your beloved subjects, then you'll enjoy this read.
P.S, I didn't misspell Essential in the title, it's the way Clarins have spelt it!

If you want to read another review, click here!

THE PACKAGING:

Let's jump in shall we? We all know Clarins as sophisticated yet refreshing, and this product screams those phrases! I'm a massive fan of Clarins skincare, more so than their make-up line, but they nailed this product on the head. I'm sucked in by packaging, first impression are incredibly significant to me, if it looks great I'm going to buy it ... Is that a bad thing? Not always, but you can't just judge a product by looks, it could seem fantastic and then when you use it, FAIL ... But this wasn't the case for me, it's perfect and I will tell you why later on.  Any how, I'm drifting away from the main topic ... When I submerged the moisturiser from the box I was memorised by the calming blue shade, it's so crisp and refreshing, reminds me of the waves and automatically puts me in a content mood ... Clarins already knew this piece of information, thus the reasoning of colour, it's perfect for skincare. When you think of skincare, you think of wanting to be detoxed. On the other hand, the box surrounding the product reminds me of prescription medical creams ... Not something I want to think about when applying my morning moisturiser. It's a little boring, but hey it's just the box, it's something I throw out, otherwise it'll stay in a corner and get lost; plus I don't need the clutter.

THE PRODUCT:

This is the juicy part that everyone has been waiting for! Does it actually work, and is it worth investing in? Yes and yes! But let me give you some facts and reasons why, otherwise what's the point on a review? In my perspective when I started using it a few weeks ago, the cream is cold to the touch-which I personally adore, because it wakens me up in the morning, and it also cools me down and makes me feel clean. Some people may not like this, but I really enjoy it, but everyone is different, (obviously). Secondly, when you rub this into your skin it feels velvety, glides really easily and not greasy! I've tried numerous moisturisers, and when they claim to be "extremely nourishing" they tend to be exceedingly oily; which isn't the look I'm going for unfortunately. On the other hand, after I've applied the product my skin feels silky smooth and I love it! It makes me want to stroke my face for hours on end, although I do make my fiance feel my face afterwards, and he always has the same opinion; "yes your face is really smooth", it's not a computer part so he doesn't care for it. Now what's left to talk about? Oh yes, the continuous usage! As mentioned previously I've been using this product for a few weeks, and a little goes a long way, hence why it looks like I've barely used it in the pictures above! I haven't broken out at all, if anything my skin seems more radiant than ever before, which is outstanding. I have VERY dry skin, and this has kept it in line! I normally have stubborn dry patches around my t-zone, and they have said goodbye! Although something I should mention, this wouldn't be great for oily skin, I think that's very obvious but I wouldn't recommend! I tried it out on my fiance (he has oily skin), and he hated it; he felt uncomfortable and wiped it off almost immediately. Other than that, this would be perfect for normal to very dry skin types.

THE PRICE:

Now for the final showdown! It all comes down to price ... If you don't mind splurging on expensive skincare this may not bother you; but for others it may. It does retail for £36, which some will say is too expensive, and others will not. Me personally it doesn't bother me, but simply because I NEED something that hydrates my skin, otherwise it bleeds and cracks; it becomes incredibly painful for me. I can justify spending a great amount of money on moisturisers, simply because it's a necessity for me. For some of you it will be as well, if you can't afford this, I would suggest it's something to save up for. If your skin cracks up in the winter this will be your bestfriend I can promise you that.
If this product is something that you are interested in, then I highly suggest clicking the link below, even if it's for browsing purposes.
All I know is that it was worth every penny for me, and I will definitely be buying another one when this runs out.

Anyhow, this is the end of this blog post! I hope you enjoyed the read! I will see you again Sunday with an update on how I have been doing this past few months, and what my plans are for the future! I hope you have all had a wonderful day! Stay safe and stay tuned Little Ones! :) x x x

Review

Neal's Yard Remedies:
Nourishing Orange Flower NIGHT CREAM

Disclaimer: I have not been paid by Neal's Yard, I've tried quite a few of their products, and I'm interested to see what this one is like.

Good morning Little ones! What are you doing today? Voting to stay in or out of the EU? I know I am :).
Any who, I've recently purchased a new facial moisturiser, and I've fallen in love with it, probably one of my favourite products from Neal's Yard, (and there's a lot); but it's perfect for my dry and sensitive skin.
If you want to have a little gander and find out more information on this product look below and enjoy reading :)

If you want to read another review, click here!

PRESENTATION:

Professional and stunning. The iconic velvet royal blue glass containers scream luxury. When you place this gem in your hand you feel important and upper class; to obtain this product makes me feel content and pleased with my purchase as I know that my hard earned money was spent well. People know, (even if they aren't regular customers) recognise where this product is from; simply because Neal's Yard is the only skincare brand that obtain this packaging; no other business in their competitors have this. Which is fantastic as they stand out from he crowd.
Neal's Yard, when creating their products evidently thought of which colours would compliment each other well; in this case cream and black; they again use this on ALL their products; whether it's: hair care, skincare or make up; they are consistent throughout. This gives me a positive impression that that they care about what their packaging looks like, they want it to look professional and beautiful; taking this much time and effort into your products and company, informs me that you care about what your customers are buying; thus the enchanting presentation.
On the other hand, I feel that Neal's Yard logo is a breath of fresh air, I love the tree, and the different perspectives of that tree. The message behind this shows me that it's not just a beauty product, this is deeper than that; we want to remain true to you, we try out best as a company, and we do that without harming nature, or animals.
In regards to the font, it's clear, which makes it easy for EVERYONE in the market to read, if you have poor eyesight you will still be able to understand what's being presented in front of you. Which makes me love this company even more; they have taken into consideration the eyesight of others; this is a caring and charming company; and their products are holy grail.

THE PRODUCT:

This facial moisturiser is a God send. I know it says 'night cream', but they penetrate and nourish the skin deeper than a mosituriser you would use in the morning; I use this in my morning and night-time routine. I have been on the market for a new moisturiser for a while, I have VERY dry skin, and the heat increase in the UK has only made it worse. My skin peels on my nose, side of my nose and cheeks; it ruins my make-up because the dry skin peels the foundation off my skin.
After my job interview I went into Neal's Yard in St Albans. I spoke to the lady and explained my situation; she tried the product on me and I bought it. BEST DECISION EVER!
Because of the oils held within the product it penetrates though not one, but two layers on skin. It's not sticky and it blends in beautifully. It creates the perfect base for when you apply your make up, and is comfortable when you are about to sleep, as it doesn't stick to the pillow.
In addition to this, neroli, (a type of flower oil essence), creates a comforting and subtle smell; when I apply this to the face it makes me feel that I'm in a field of wild flowers; it also creates nostalgia of when I used to ride my bike in the forests; they were the days. This positive memory floods back every morning and evening and brings a smile to my face.

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT:

  1. Clean your face, make sure you have no make up on the surface of your face;
  2. use your desired facial toner;
  3. dip your finger into the moisturiser pot, (a little goes a long way so you don't need much);
  4. rub it into the skin; massage the face if you want, (this will create better circulation).
I use this product in the morning, and before I go to bed and I haven't even made a dent :).

PRICE:

The Nourishing Orange Flower NIGHT CREAM retails for £25, this is perfect! I say this because I have spent double if not triple on some moisturisers' and they have not worked out as well as this! If anything they dried my skin out even more! I feel that £25 for 50g is a bargain, like I've said previously, a little goes a long way, I have used this twice a day everyday for a week, and I haven't even dented it :'). I feel that this will last me for 3-6 months, £25 every 6 months doesn't sound bad, a single meal and Prezzo costs more than that! Not only that, but you are buying into a well made and caring company, this product is 100% vegan, and they fight against animal cruelty; which is a massive bonus for me.

If you are interested in buying this pot of gold click the link below :)

Like always Little ones, I hope you have had a lovely day, stay tuned and see you soon :) x x x

Raspberries:
Raspberries are great for the brain, for example; it decreases the delay in cognitive ability related to aging. As well as this, raspberries are enriched with potassium, this helps repair and build: organs, cells and tissue.

Strawberries:
Strawberries are great antioxidants, they really cleanse the body and make you feel energised; this is perfect if you have had a really long day, or you are just about to start the day. Also, they are great to hydrate your body, simply because 91% of the strawberry is water; if you struggle drinking water, this is a great supplement for that.

Disclaimer: I have not been paid to do this, I just simply wanted to write a positive review for the Breville BlendActive Blender; it was long overdue and I just wanted to share MY thoughts and opinions on this product :)

You can check out the smoothies I've made with this blender here and here!

Good Evening Little ones, hope your day has been wonderful and satisfying :). I thought that it was about time to review one of the most important factors of my life ... Yes I know it's a blender, but it's simply amazing! It's the Breville BlendActive Blender! If you are interested about knowing the full details about this product and my opinion; feel free to have a wonder down below :).

This is when I made my first vegan smoothie, it blended like butter, no lumps or bumps! Which is perfect for me, as some textures make me cringe.

IT'S CONVENIENT:

  • The setting up process:
    You take it out the box and all the parts are there for you, this would entail: the blender, blade and medium sized bottle.
    When making the smoothie you simply put your desired ingredients in the bottle, take the blade (it's detachable); screw it on the inside of the bottle (so it blends); and click it on the base of the blender! It's so quick and simple! Because of this when I need to make a protein backed smoothie in the morning, I can throw it all in and be done within minutes! I can't describe how much this has helped me, especially since becoming vegan, it's perfect!
  • Durable:
    The Breville BlendActive detachable bottles make it super durable! You don't have to blend your smoothie in a separate container and transfer it to your drinking bottle; it's already done for you, your bottle is your blender! You can take it to work, school, shopping etc. This makes making smoothies not a pain at all, as you only need one device; less stress and it's a time saver :).
  • Breville offer different sized bottles:They offer various sized bottles, a total of two, this being the 600ml bottle, the one I have, and a 200ml bottle. The fact that they offer different sizes makes it even better. Simply because, if you have a small bag and don't have enough room you can always use the smaller bottle; or if you want to portion control, you can also use the smaller bottle; vice-versa. Breville also offer different colours on their website, ranging from: blue, red, green and pink. This widens Brevilles' target audience as they are providing more options, this making their customers happy. In my opinion I really liked the green one,as it's super vibrant and makes me happy :).

PRESENTATION:

  • Breville provide a simple yet modern blender out to the market, in comparison to ninja bullet, this is far more interesting and unique. Simply because, one, Breville offers a wide range of colours, in which the ninja bullet doesn't. Two, BlendActive have a better designed lid, it's leak-proof, easy to drink from, as they provide a drinking nozzle and its easier to grip as Breville have made indentations in the bottle to emulate where your hands should go. This makes it easier to drink from, and it prevents you from dropping it if you are walking and drinking at the same time. Whereas the ninja bullet has an ordinary cup shape, and there are no indentations of where your hands go.

PRICE:

The Breville BlendActive with 1x600ml retails for £19.97 on their website, this is the exact one that I have purchased. I feel that this is an amazing value for money, I only wanted the one 600ml bottle, as I'm the only one in my household that would use it; I bought it for me and me only. Whereas, if you were to buy the BlendActive 'family pack' this would be a total of: £34.99! This gives you: 2x600ml bottles and 2x300ml bottles! This is only £15.02 more, and you get triple of what you would get if you only brought one of them. In comparison to the ninja bullet, this retails for £69.99! This is a lot of money for a blender, especially when I think that the BlendActive performs just as well if not better! I have bought the two of them and I tried them both out, but I feel that the BlendActive is a better value for money.
If you are considering buying one check out their website down below:

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to look at this blog post, I would highly recommend the Breville BlendActive Blender, it's amazing value for money and lasts a really long time. I have had mine for 2 years and nothing has gone wrong with it (touch wood).
Thank you again, and stay tuned Little ones :) x x x

Hello! Hope you are all doing well, I thought that it was about time to introduce you to my favourite vegan meal; this is what has saved me! It's super healthy and damn right delicious! I made this on the spot when I was super hungry and it goes well with the pasta I made here! I just hoped for the best. It turned out great! :D
It's really simple and easy to make, if you would like to know this secret, look below and create :)

Ingredients

  • 50 grams peas
  • 25 grams sweetcorn
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 2 shallots
  • chili spices or one chili (whichever you prefer)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50 grams new potatoes (or whatever potatoes you want, I just picked these as they fit perfectly in my on-the-go tub)
  • Sabra roasted pepper hummus
  • chili sauce
  • Extra virgin olive oil
(You can make your own chili sauce and hummus, but I wanted to show you the simple way first, we don't want to make it too complicated yet) :)

With the measurements you don't have to stick to this exact amount, go by what your body is telling you :)

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Boil 300ml of water and place in pan;
  2. Put your potatoes in the pan and use the salt and pepper to season the water, (this leaves a subtle but nice flavour on the potatoes);
  3. Prepare you shallot and garlic, cut them up to the size you want;
  4. In a small pan, put boiling water in and place the peas and sweetcorn in there;
  5. Combine the garlic and shallots to the pea and sweetcorn mixture; add the extra virgin olive oil; chili spices, salt and pepper and stir;
  6. Place the vegetables into your desired container;
  7. Take out your potatoes and poke them with a folk, (they should be soft); drizzle the oil over them and shake in pan;
  8. Add the potatoes to the vegetables in your desired container;
  9.  Put the hummus and chili sauce on the side for dipping and flavour;
  10. ENJOY!

Why these ingredients?

Peas:
Peas are filled with Vitamin C, this helps build the immune system and makes it stronger over time, this will prevent you from feeling ill. As well as this, peas are also filled with B6, this will stimulate co-enzymatic activities, this entails protecting the immune system and having great effects on the metabolism, (speed it up).

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

Shallot:
Shallots is a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

Thank you for reading this post, hope you enjoy and recreate, stay tuned little ones :) x x x

If you want to keep up to date with that I do on a daily basis follow me on my social media above, and I'll be sure to follow you right back :).

Hello!Another beautiful day in the UK, which means it's time for another blog post! :)
Since turning vegan I knew that giving up pasta was going to be extremely hard for me; but there is VEGAN pasta out there! It tastes just like regular pasta, it's faster to cook ,(always a bonus when you're really hungry) and better for you!
If you would like to make this delicious dish, look below and follow the easy steps.

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams (or base the measurements on how hungry you feel:
    Vegan pasta (I used freeform by Sainsbury's, it's: wheat, egg, milk and gluten free);
  • 1 tbs of pesto sauce (sacla italia is the brand I used)
  • parsley;
  • salt and pepper;
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • One garlic glove
Keep in mind! When boiling the pasta it can go from hard to soft in seconds, so when you think it's nearly done keep checking to how you want your pasta. In my opinion I love pasta al dente :)/

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Fill a pan with 300ml of already boiling water, (this speeds up the cooking process);
  2. Put 100 grams (or how much your stomach is feeling) into the pan of boiling water;
  3. Add salt and pepper to the pasta and put a lid on the pan (stir occasionally); make sure you keep an eye on it because it takes 5-7 minutes to cook through until soft. The heat setting on the hob should go to 4;
  4. Shop or crush your garlic;
  5. When the pasta is ready drain the water, place the pasta back into the pan and drizzle extra virgin olive oil, (This will stop it from sticking);
  6. Add the pesto sauce and garlic to the pasta and stir;
  7. Plate or bowl up, and then sprinkle parsley on top;
  8. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Pesto:
Pesto is enriched with vitamins A and C, this helps boost your immune system, this will help fight infection, while keeping you fit and healthy. Whereas vitamin A is good is amazing for you eye health; it makes them stronger as well as being a great antioxidant.

Parsley:
Parsley has a huge amount of vitamin K, this helps builds bones and heals heart disease. in addition to this, parsley also has vitamin A, which as we already know is great for our eyes, and acts as a fantastic antioxidant.

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.
