Fitbit Alta Review

DISCLAIMER: I have not been paid by Fitbit, I received this watch from my boyfriend as an anniversary gift. I'd been wanting that watch for so long and he went and bought it for me. I have always been into my fitness, so this was perfect for me.

Hello! I'm ever so sorry that this has taken a few days to post, I have been undergoing serious issues, of which I can't disclose just yet; but when I can I will write about it :).
Anyhow, how have you all been? What did you do yesterday and what are you planning on doing today? Let's cut to the chase! If you are a perfume addict then you will love this blog post! Have a little read and relax :).

PRESENTATION:

Fundamentally, when you receive this tiny trinket it's surrounded by a modern box, it shines beautifully since it's turquoise and also interlinks with their brand. It signifies positivity and you get that when you eventually open the box and reveal the Fitbit. In regards to the actual Fitbit it's stunning, the glossy black glass is extremely professional, you can walk around the streets feeling fantastic. As well as this, the pink leather strap (real leather) adds an opulent and comfortable feeling. I say comfortable because it fits perfectly, doesn't feel cold when you put it on (metal feels cold), and it bends perfectly; it's not stiff. In addition to this, the pink reminds me of my Nan, which is also why I went for this colour; she would have really liked this, baby pink was her favourite colour. When I wear it I feel like a part of her is still with me.
In contrast to this, when you turn the Fitbit around, you can see metal dots, which interconnect with the holes provided, these are in regards to the various sizes; the one I have is small; and it fits me perfectly! I've always had trouble with watches fit me, they never make them my size; Fitbit is the first brand that actually advocates for my size of wrist. I put mine on the last setting and it doesn't move around; unlike other watches I've tried, it trails down my arm; but not this one. All in all, I think this fitness watch is elegant, easy to wear and really fashionable.

THE PRODUCT:

Profoundly, the amount of things this product does is fantastic. Just to give you a brief idea of what this little baby can do, it counts your steps, tells you how many calories you have burnt, motivates you to go further. For example, if you have been stable for too long it tells you to, "let's walk together"; the various amount of messages that pops up on the screen is so personal; it makes you feel like you have a personal friend their motivating you. In addition to this, it evidently tells you the time, you move your wrist towards your face and the time automatically appears. Because the text it white and the background is black it makes it easy to read and understand. In regards to the battery, it lasts 2 weeks, this is fantastic and when you do charge it, it only takes 1 hour to charge, and that's it for two weeks. It's constantly on, even at night ... If you want it to you can wear it while your sleep and it actually monitors if you are getting enough sleep or not. On the other hand, there is another part of this product, and that would be the app that you would download on your phone or tablet. If you download it you can register your sleep, how many steps you should do in the week, you could even start a diet or weight plan. If you need to loose weight for yourself or for health conditions then buy one of these and set your goal higher and higher. It gives you motivation to do well and keeps you going. in contrast to this, there are various colours that this comes in, you can buy the bands separatley, but they are additional costs on top of this product. But this means you can make it as versatile as possible. When you do buy the Fitbit it does come with a wrist band; so don't worry about not getting one, it's included in the price.

THE PRICE:

Depending on what Fitbit you want it varies in price, there are cheaper ones than the one I'm talking about. The FitBit Alta retails for £99.99. Which I think is a great value for money, some watches now adays are the same price, if not more expensive; and that just tells you the time. Whereas the Fitbit Alta, tells you the time, counts your calories and steps, how long you have been walking for etc. It's not just a simple watch, it does so much for you; and for the price of £99.99 it's worth it in my opinion.
I would say if you are a fitness freak, or need to improve your physical lifestyle, then get one of these! It will help you, plus it's your own little motivator. I was wanting one of these for ages, and my boyfriend brought me one for our year anniversary; I love him so much and I was so thankful.
If you are interested in buying this product check out the website down below, they have so many models :)

Welcome again Little ones! How are you today? I feel the autumn hitting, the leaves are turning and I love it. I've been having a relaxing day today, it was also my Mothers Birthday! She was ever so happy with what I bought her :). Other than spending time with her I thought that it was about time to experiment in the kitchen and make another vegan recipe! So here it is ladies and gents! Get in that kitchen and start cooking!

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 grams self-raising flour;
  • salt;
  • 50 grams caster sugar;
  • 50 grams coconut oil (put in the fridge before use, this is your butter subsistence);
  • 15ml almond milk;
  • 25 grams frozen raspberries.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees;
  2. prepare baking tray: brush on vegetable oil onto a baking pan and place over grease-proof paper, this is where you will place your cakes later;
  3. Sift the flour and pinch of salt into a large bowl;
  4. take the coconut oil out of the fridge, this should be solid enough to place into the flour, you should then rub the flour and coconut oil together until it forms fine breadcrumbs;
  5. put the caster sugar into the flour mixture and mix until well combined;
  6. put in the raspberries and mix until well combined, there should be a raspberry in every bite of the rock-cake;
  7. pour in the almond milk, stir until all the cake batter has joined together;
  8. take some of the mixture into your hands and place onto the baking sheet you prepared earlier. Make a circle, but do it imperfectly (as shown in the first picture), this makes it more authentic;
  9. repeat stage 8 until all the mixture has been used up;
  10. put into the oven for 15 minutes, you know they are done when the edges are golden brown;
  11. put onto a plate and ENJOY! :D

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

Raspberry:
Raspberries is one of the greatest antioxidant foods, it cleanses the body and makes you feel great inside. As well as being super delicious, raspberries can also prevent cancer, science studies have shown this.

Almond milk:
Almond milk is filled with potassium, this helps prepare and enhance: cells, tissue and organs in the human body. This is essential in everyday life, you always need to repair yourself.

Coconut oil:
Coconut oil high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase the healthy cholesterol (known as HDL) in your body, but also help to convert the LDL “bad” cholesterol into good cholesterols. So if you are on a high fat diet, try coconut oil instead, it will benefit your heart at the end of the day.

Ok Little ones! This is the time where I depart, but don't you worry I will be back later on with something new! Sounds exciting right?! I will be introducing a new segment to my blog entirely; find out later on by following my social media! :D

It was fun making these bundles of joys, please show me your recreations, or tell me if you loved them, I know me and my boyfriend did :).
Any how, I love you all so very much, see you again soon! Stay safe and stay tuned Little ones :)

Good afternoon, how are you all today? It's been a while since I've posted a vegan recipe, I'm really sorry about that, I've been traveling due to work training! I made this delicious concoction yesterday evening and I loved it; I'm using the left overs and eating it for lunch today :).
I hope you are having a lovely day so far, I know that I will be ordering my boyfriends anniversary present right after this!
Any how, if you want to know how to make this recipe, have a read below and enjoy! :D

If you want to see another vegan recipe, click here!

Ingredients

  • 50 grams plain rice;
  • 3 vegan sausages (I used Linda McCartney);
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 red pepper;
  • 1 garlic clove;
  • chili sauce (optional)

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. At the same time take 300ml of water and boil it, place the boiled water in a medium pan and turn the heating setting on 2-3;
  2. place the rice into the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes;
  3. when the oven as reached 180, put the sausages in and cook for 10 minutes;
  4. prepare your vegetables: cut the onion into fine pieces, and do the same with the pepper and garlic. Put all the veg into one bowl and keep to one side;
  5. drain the rice and place into your bowl of choice;
  6. take the veg and mix it in with the rice;
  7. take the sausages, cut them up and mix it together with the rice and veg mixture;
  8. drizzle chili sauce on top (optional);
  9. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Garlic:
Depending on how we prepare our garlic depends on how much nutrients we get out of it; this is why I have suggested either: cutting or crushing. This increases the enzymes within the garlic, these enzymes can prevent cancer.

Onion:
Onions are a great antioxidant, they also contain low fat saturation, this won't clog up your arteries, as it reduces cholesterol, in comparison to a normal red or green onion, this is so much better for your mental and physical health.

This is the end of my blog post! Thank you all for being so patient with me, I have missed making these recipes, but unfortunately you will have to wait at least once a week for these; simply because I'm going to France Thursday, and I'm back at my training Monday and Tuesday. But I will be trying to create vegan recipes in France! I love you all so very much, and I love that you enjoy my blog posts! I am going to eat some lunch and finish getting ready :).

Hello and welcome! How are you today? Sorry for being so late in posting this, but I had to attend a LAN meeting at my future university in September :).
I know these recipes are your favourite, so I gave you what you wanted, and that's another vegan smoothie! :D
This is my favourite creation of mine yet! The sweetness of the apricots and the syrup combined is mouthwatering! If you want to find out out to make this tropical concoction; have a little read below :).

 Ingredients:

  • 3 apricots;
  • 200 ml;
  • 1 tbs of golden syrup.

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE THIS:

  1. Prepare the fruit; wash the apricots, cut them in half and then into quarters. After this is done place them into the blender of your choice;
  2. add the almond milk and the golden syrup;
  3. blend this fruity goodness for 3 minutes. You don't have to do it for this long, but that's because I like a smooth smoothie with no bits.
  4. ENJOY! :D

Why these ingredients?

Almond milk:
Almond milk is filled with potassium, this helps prepare and enhance: cells, tissue and organs in the human body. This is essential in everyday life, you always need to repair yourself.

Apricots:
Apricots are filled with vitamins A and C. Vitamins C is fantastic for the skin, it's proven to reduce wrinkles for tightening the skin, as well as making it smooth and refreshing; this is the main ingredients they put in all skincare brands. Whereas vitamin A plays a vital role in bone growth, reproduction and immune system health.

Thank you so much for reading this post, sorry it's taken a while, I've been a very busy bee and I have still yet to write another review :).

I love you all so very much and thank you for sticking with me :)
I will see you again later on tonight! I hope you have had a good day so far! Tell me what you have been up to in the comments below; or on social media :)
Stay tuned and stay safe Little ones :) x x x
